4⁄5 for food(considering the price) 2⁄5 for service FOOD: cheap AYCE and to stuff yourself We were mainly filled up by the meat and noodles, by the end we weren’t sure if we could finish our second round of food. It’d be wise to take a break after your first round before you order, or else you’d be like us, ordering he same amount before our bodies registered that we were beyond full. Our favorites were the dumplings and wontons, they pair very well with the garlic sauce condiment you can add(not free unfortunately). Most other things were standard hot pot quality, so no complaints. I would point out that you should beware of their sizings for the quantities you write down. It doesn’t seem like they stay true to that number. We wrote 5 for Enochi mushrooms but barely got two bundles. The second round we wrote 4, but received just a LITTLE bit more than the first round… SERVICE: consistent — in avoiding eye contact with the customers I’m usually not picky about service, especially at Asian places, but this place is exceptionally terrible at this. The hostess is nice and standard, but I do not know what the servers are doing. Every time I’ve been here, the servers never come by to take our order sheets in, we always have to spend 5min waving them down. However, they do keep coming by to take our empty dishes. In one instance, our server came to take away empty plates, but it still had about 4 tempura on it, so our server(without asking) reached across the table and dumped it into the hotpot for us and left with the plate, still without taking our order sheet.

The food was decent. It took forever for them to bring food out. We sat there and waited for 20 minutes for each order.

The AYCE hot pot is awesome. Ingredients super fresh and high quality, flavorful broth. Had the beef, pork, fish balls, fungus, vermicelli, enoki, Bol Choy and spinach all in one round. Couldn’t even make it to a second round. Perfect. If the spicy side of the broth were a bit hotter(spicy) I’d award it the fifth star.

Just a very cool place. A great way to eat and eat and socialize. And eat. And socialize. And eat. And actually feel healthy and full Like a buffet except like a lot better

For the price point and all you can eat, this place was ideal for hot pot. I’ve been to the other ones in California and what stood out was the fact that they are all you can eat. Other franchise offer that only occasionally. The down side of this place was that they charge for all the sauces which was surprising since this was always given to us for free at other locations. I mean how much money do you really lose for sauces. I really like the broth here and lives up to the same standards as other little sheep restaurants. As for service, it was alright. Like any other Asian restaurants, you kind of have to be assertive to get things.

1 star because the food was yummy. Service was not only slow and inattentive, but also full of error in our orders. I didn’t even know who our server was since many different people kept coming to our table or rather… NOT coming to our table. We never received our order of noodles too. The person who I think was our server also made a sarcastic remark that confused me and my friends. We just asked to get 2 separate checks and then the server replied with a very sarcastic, «so just use two credit cards, right? I ONLY went to public school.» We didn’t really know how to interpret that statement, but it sounded a bit off putting. Meh. Probably will not come back.

In Chinatown, there are different types of Chinese foods. I want to introduce a traditional Chinese food in Chinatown, and this food also is one of my favorite foods in China – hot pot. The hot pot is special in China, which people need to cook by themselves, and cook many kinds of food for immediate consumption. Hot pot usually has two different flavors: spicy and not spicy, and the pot be used in cooking is different from other normal pots. There is a plate at the middle of a pot which makes one pot can cook two different flavors at the same time. Usually, people use one pot to eat hot pot whether how many people because it makes people feeling interesting and happy. The hot pot restaurant in Chinatown’s name is Xiao Feiyang. People eat there usually choose buffet because if people use same money to order food, buffet can choose more types of foods. The meat and vegetable in this restaurant are fresh. Besides, there are many kinds of foods you can choose, like beef, sheep meat, sheep meat, and so on. Also, this restaurant’s food makes me remember the food in my hometown, so I recommend you to try this restaurant if you interested in a hot pot.

Usually, I prefer doing hot pot at home, since you have better control over the quality of the ingredients that way. But when that is not feasible, Little Sheep is a decent alternative. They have set menus and all-you-can-eat options. And usually at the end of your meal, they will give you a coupon to come back for your next meal. The building has a parking garage underneath and you can park there for free, assuming there are available spots.

Other reviewers are correct that the service at Little Sheep is not the most attentive around. That being said, we ordered the half-spicy and half regular broth and channeling our inner-Homer Simpson, ordered all you can eat. The Spicy broth is really delicious. MSG is in abundance(not a bad thing as it is a magic«makes things delicious» powder) and the spice-level is just right. We ordered the pork, beef, lamb dumplings, enoki mushrooms, bok choy, Napa cabbage, potatoes, tofu, and both udon and thick Chinese noodles. I also ordered a side of the spicy oil to make things even hotter. Quality of the meat and veggies was nice and fresh and we ate until we felt we were going to pop. Very expensive($ 62 including one beer) for two people but would be more fun to do in a group. Service needs help but once asked, the servers brought the needed items.

Came here on a cold night with family and had a good time. The restaurant itself is really large and can accommodate lots of large groups. We were seated in a cozy booth and shared a split between regular broth and spicy broth. For about $ 60 the all-you-can-eat combo was perfect for the 4 of us. This included various meats, veggies, mushrooms, and more, plus hot tea for the table. We also had a side order of fried rice, potstickers, and my mom enjoyed boba tea while my dad and fiancé had beer and sake. Tons of options! The restaurant was clean, not too noisy, but had the game on for football fans. Total for all of the food plus drinks came to just under $ 100 for 4 people. Totally worth it! We were absolutely stuffed and the hot pot was perfect for a cold winter evening after the holidays. Will definitely come back again soon.

My first time trying here last night(Friday 12⁄18). My friends took me here to try this on a rainy night. Parking was extremely difficult to find because it was at China. Although they had parking garage, it was really small and almost always full. We ended up paying for the parking lot not too far. We rather paid than walking really far in heavy raining night. The restaurant has 2 floors. First floor was full, so we ended up sitting on the second floor. The host here was probably the only friendly person in this whole restaurant. Everyone else seemed like they hated it to be there. Our server just basically took our order sheet without asking anything. I got no water refilled for all 2 hours meal. No one came to check on our meal, but I mean it’s Asian restaurant in China town, what do you expect? The check came out really fast without checking if we were done with the meal or not. The foods were okay. I think the soup has a lot of MSG because me and all my friends felt really thirsty after the meal. Best part of the meal was probably the foods came out pretty fast and we ate a lot because we were hungry. I think it was overall mediocre and a bit overpriced. I rather go to the one in Bellevue… I remember having much better experience there although it was like 3 years ago.

All you can eat hot pot special… How can you deny this on a cold and rainy day. Just FYI — My friend did share with us that if you ordered by the plate, it pretty much came up to the same price if you did all you can eat. I’ve been to many little sheep Mongolian hot pots across the west coast. This one is pretty similar to other ones. You pick a broth(original or spicy or half and half) Then you go on and choose what you want, the sky is the limit! Typically plates of meat can cost up to $ 8−10/plate so all you can eat is a steal. Definitely ask for sesame and satay dipping sauces, they cost 50 cents each but well worth it. Service is pretty good, although when you want to order more food you prob will have to flag them down. They gave us a bunch of $ 5 coupons that have an expiration date, I may go again(I’m a sucker for coupons).

Good price $ 22 for all you can eat hot pot. I love eating here. It’s a good price. Quality is not bad. service is ok. Sometimes it can be hard to find someone to help you. This place has two floor and it’s quite spacious and big. On thanksgiving this is one of the few restaurants open. So came here on American thanksgiving, waited about 20 mins in line. Not bad Ate and walked out in 1.5 hours. Love the soup base. U can taste the herbal flavours. Also they are generous in bringing the food out Décor is not bad. It’s not super fancy but it’s definitely clean. Will come back

Only thing Mongolian about this place is the smell of boiling mutton that hits you the second you walk in and a small picture of a get a wall. That said, the food was good, the broth was rich and flavorful, and the staff were always there ready to help you. For the all you can eat, the prices are good. I can’t see going here in a group. I had trouble enough using the hot pot for 2 people and getting your food. It’s a fun place.

Tip: don’t wear clothes that you value or need to dry clean bc after coming here, your clothes stink with hints of salty and spicy. However, if you enjoy the smell of those spices, wear whatever you want. The food was very plentiful. We didn’t feel like ordering the all you can eat hot pot so we got the $ 30+ two person meal. There was enough food for three people. I liked the broth of the house special. The waiters were all very attentive. I would totally come back for dinner.

There was nothing exceptionally wrong with the place. Aside from that it was the weirdest tasting Mongolian hot pot broth I’ve ever had. Different from the Bellevue location that I experienced years before. Way inferior to the Mongolian hot pot broths I’ve tasted in Taiwan. I know, I know – we’re not in Taiwan. But, regardless, I wouldn’t go back because the flavors were just off. For both the spicy and the white broth. It’s like they couldn’t decided what they wanted it to taste like. We got the combo between the two of us and it fed us well. I enjoyed the complimentary kimchi. The fried rice was your most basic egg fried rice with very little eggs, decent to go with the overpowering flavors of the broth but unsatisfying when eaten alone. Meat, tofu, and veggies were all great. Mussels were a little suspicious to me. It’s a good value to go the combo route, you just can’t have everything your heart desires. And, yes, service is minimal. You get led to your table, they take your order, and they bring food to you. Don’t expect small talk or silly banter or them checking on how you like your food.

Being so far away from NY and a visitor of its Flushing branch– I love how this place feels like home. Good family memories were formed around a hotpot broth, and this place made me feel so at home. All the waitresses/waiters spoke Chinese and the menus were oh so familiar. I was out with friends so most haven’t had hotpot before. We ordered off of the combos, $ 99 and the $ 29. Needless to say that adequately filled 12 hungry grown up kids. The seafood here is actually pretty good, and their various beef cuts are really fresh. The waiters and waitresses were friendly and prompt. Overall had a great time.

So okay, I thought this place was great. And Yes, they serve hot pot to just one person(no minimum # of people required), but there is a small catch. Keep on reading. I have done hot pots before but it was so long ago(with my parents) that I can’t even remember much. I am not reviewing this place from authenticity perspective but purely from my own dining experience tonight. Food was awesome. I went in by myself(because I have no friends lol… actually I have a few but they don’t have to work late like I do) and the hostess lady was very nice and helpful. She explained to me that the hot pot for a single person would be of a smaller size but I still could do all you can eat for same price at $ 22. I got seated immediately and another lady came by with a piece of paper with all different broth/meat/seafood/veggies options listed. I originally picked the option to do half and half soup base(half mild and half spicy), but later I was told that I could only do 1 soup base for a single person order. I wish I knew this going in, but oh well. I read reviews here that the spicy one is actually spicy, so I went with the mild. The soup was awesome. Salty, herb-y, not too thick or oil but just perfect. I ordered a bunch of meat(there were about 5 different choices and I eventually tried all 5), veggies, pork intestines, beef tripes, enoki mushrooms, dumplings, house sp noodles, tofu, etc. etc. Portions were huge, considering that it was just me… it was pretty ridiculous actually… how much meat they brought out. Some reviewers here complained that they could only do 2 rounds of ordering, but man… I couldn’t even finish half of my second round. I felt bad leaving that much food behind, but I was proud of how much I could actually eat. I was served by about 3 or 4 different waiters and I would say two of them were very good 1 of them seemed new and 1 of them didn’t speak much English but nice. I actually was hoping that they would subsitute out the soup during my second round of ordering, so I could try the spicy one, but I was turned down. I was so full by then anyway and this gives me an excuse to come back for their spicy soup base. I do recommend it. I thought the price was great for the amount of food I got and I didn’t really feel at all like I was pressured to leave, order less or anything like that. They accept Amex!
