Jack In The Box

This place hires some real dumb people or they just don’t listen when you order. Nine out of ten ten times they get my order wrong. How hard is to just listen and get things right? Hope they don’t get the $ 15.00 raise cause they are doing a poor job there.

Only go thru drive thru. The people who work here have all been very very nice and friendly it’s just the food that’s been I’m mm mm for a lack of better adjectives.. GROSS! I have given this location more than one chance in the last 10 years and it’s only been recently that this has been going on. Not that I go that often to any fast food restaurant but I do come here for the occasional taco (I love them!) or fun milkshake :) I won’t be coming here anymore. My diet will be lacking the normally yummy jack in the box taco but at least I won’t have to worry about the terrible tummy issues that may follow eating one from here.

I will preface my review with … Well what do you expect, it’s Jack in the Box. All kidding aside there are some flaws and at time’s the line can be rather slow to get an order, but on the same token there are some very nice employees that never give you grief if you ask for extra condiments, you very rarely see the «druggie homeless with his head sleeping on the table» and the bathroom is surprising cleanly and not tagged up like Jack in the Box’s around Metro area’s are known for. The prices aren’t marked up due to distance from Downtown. Overall Rating (A-​OK ³⁄₅)

Seriously the worst drive thru I’ve been to in my life. I’ve been to this Jack twice. The first time the girl at the drive thru speaker was laughing and being so unprofessional. I get my food and they get the order completely wrong. It’s obvious the person at the speaker was paying no attention to what I was ordering. I went there again today and the person who took my order was quietly talking to someone while I was ordering. This time they got the order right but first bite I took I found a long disgusting hair! This jack is in need of completely new staff and get rid of all those idiots that are working there now. Who ever is doing the hiring is seriously messing up.

Came into the place to order. And there was only 2 people working. And 4 customers standing in the lobby, and 2 in the drive thru. Long waits, because they were understaffed. Management needs a little work. Our fries didn’t get dropped until after the rest of our food was already done.

Wow, this is one of the smallest Jack in the Boxes I’ve ever been in. The area to order is small and cramped (especially if it’s busy), and there are not many tables as it is just that small. Also, a bit cold.
Staff are friendly and helpful. It was pretty clean except around the condiments/​pop area.
Prices reasonable, lots of parking in the lot, small/​tight drive through area.
Love the food. Great choices, they tell you the calorie count, and tastes good. Can’t beat the food at any other fast food joint.

horrible. staff changes too much. nobody speaks English here anymore. and they want to charge me for tomatoes on my tacos? whaaat? I am not coming back here. ever. period. the end

I go to this Jack in the Box after i get off work sometimes when im feeling too tired to cook. Its right next to my house so I come here very often. I have noticed they hired new staff that is a lot faster. I used to wait for ever just for someone to take my order even when there was no one there. But im glad they hired some better staff. They are all very nice and polite. My only complaint is that the place seems kind of dark all the time, maybe fix a light bulb or turn some lights on

The staff was extremely friendly and polite, which came as a very nice surprise. I don’t usually expect that at fast food joints. (except Arby’s, they’re always friendly and polite)
Unfortunately is was very very cold and dim inside the restaurant. It felt like all the doors had been left open and half the light bulbs had burnt out.
If the manager is reading this, your employees are great, but turn up the heat and switch on all the lights!

You’re probably drunk with high expectations, you’ll just be let down.
I’d say find someplace else to eat but in this neighborhood this is about the only thing open.

My Jr Bacon Cheeseburger was made to order and fresh. Employees are polite and friendly.

Its a good drive thru experience. Of course I love the food. The soda is better quality than some of the other fast food places. The bathrooms are ok.

Jack in the box seems to suffer from a «Jack of all trades but master of none» complex. The menu is all over the map so if you value variety over quality go to Jack in the Box. Now to hone in on the Lake City one. This is the slowest Jack in the Box I have ever been to. Sometimes I need dead cow on my lunch break so I swing by. The horrible thing is that I have to wait 20 minutes for food so I got just 10 minutes to eat. The staff seems nice but yeah they totally hate there lives. One plus is the fact that you can get breakfast all day.

I like Jack in the Box, but not this Jack in the Box. If you’re ever in the need for a late-​night burger, go to McDonald’s, Dick’s, or think outside the bun. Do not go to this Jack in the Box at night unless you want to wait 15 minutes, get a wrong order, and possibly get shot. The staff obviously doesn’t want to be there, and I don’t think they often follow health and safety guidelines. I saw them throwing fries at each other one night. They seem often perplexed operating the computer terminal to punch in orders. The clientele is equally bad. There are generally two types of people there at that hour: drunk jerkoffs blasting music, honking, and being otherwise obnoxious, and nerds in Tercels with Apple or Linux stickers on the bumpers getting a feast from the dollar menu. I’ve been cut off by said nerds a few times entering into this place, and I almost pulled out an imaginary gun on a guy behind me because he thought me waiting in line was holding him up.
Overall, this place blows. Only go there if you have a Jack in the Box craving and don’t want to go to the U District or Kenmore or 85^th. Otherwise, stay away… you’ll be happy you did.

I gotta admit it, I love Jack In the Box. Where else can you get a steak and egg burrito, egg roll, chicken pita, and two tacos for 99 cents at 3am? (Not that I’d recommend all of that at one time…) Seriously, it’s a place that’s fast, quick, affordable, and has a wide variety of menu items. It’s definitely a step up from McDonald’s and the like, and is definitely better quality fast food. The Lake City location is nothing special, but the staff has always been friendly which is always nice.
