Last night still feeling yucky I didn’t want to cook, plus there’s nothing but pasta at home. So off to find something quick, filling and comforting. Mexican sounded good, I was still thinking about my bean and cheese burrito from Jalisco’s the other night. There are a few places in West Seattle and decided upon Guadalajara Hacienda. The staff was very friendly and the service was prompt. The chips were fresh but the salsa was blah, it was like tomato juice with onions and cilantro mixed it, I wasn’t impressed. I didn’t see it on the menu but they were able to make me a simple«dry» bean and cheese burrito with sour cream. It was good, very filling and the beans had that smooth creamy consistency that I enjoy. The boy went with a «wet» chicken burrito and was very pleased with his meal. I was stuffed but I saw the had churro’s and I love me a good churro’s so we ordered some and they were so warm, crispy, cinnamon-y and topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce and oh so good and I was glad we broke down and decided to try them. I’ll be back I’m sure if not for the burrito for the churro’s and to try the margarita’s they looked good and everyone drinking one seemed to be enjoying their evening just a tiny bit more than those of us who weren’t drinking them. One more thing I noticed they offer delivery so when I want my burrito fix and I don’t feel like driving I can call and have someone deliver to me, this made me very happy. I never knew Mexican food delivered!!!

Basic fare, but when we went the drinks were like rocket fuel. We were on our lips in no time. Staff is nice and does not hover, which we like.

We were driving and just happened to stop here for some Mexican and I’m glad we did. The place had a totally great atmosphere, the people super friendly, and the food was excellent. They had a good variety of margaritas and the prices were good. My only complaint is the margaritas where a little week on the booze, and once the waitress brought us our food she seemed to totally forget we were there.
