Happy to have a chipotle in the area and finally decided to try it. I had a burrito bowl with chicken, black and pinto bean, and quac and chips. My chicken was a little more burned than char-broiled and the chips were overly salty and some stale, but it was ok. The food is better than taco del mar a block away, but twice as expensive. I prefer the local Mexican sit down places across the way.

I love Chipotle with all my heart, and thank them for elevating the quality of fast food options in our society! I welcome you to West Seattle… and I’m not any more concerned about food safety here than with other fast food. All that said, this location is pretty poorly run. I’ve eaten here a good dozen times, and they are routinely out of at least one food item, which I’ve never experienced in any other location. The staff all seem like it’s their first day on the job –painstakingly slowly making burritos with their hesitant, unskilled hands. The line moves very slowly here. I’d be more bothered by this if there were ever a real line, but it’s generally pretty empty inside. Nonetheless, the food is only slightly worse than other locations. I can live with a burrito that slightly leaks, and steak that is a tad overlooked. I still prefer this place over a far lesser option, like Taco Del Mar. Still, I hope that one day they’ll get their sh*t together and tighten up the quality at this location.

I love me some Chipotle. I moved here recently from out of state and was so happy to have a familiar place nearby. Wrong. Smallest portions of any Chipotle. Slow service. If you’re in mood for Mexican, go across the street to taquiros guayamos.

I’m just not a fan. Lukewarm burritos put together painstakingly slow by someone who had probably never seen a tortilla in her life. It still leaked all over the place. «Spicy» sauce is bland. Yawn. I like the Junction neighborhood and to me another corporate chain just doesn’t fit in very well. But it’s America, go ahead, whatever… Probably won’t be back here, especially seeing as they are poisoning people(image). Two stars, minus one for giving people explosive diarrhea. EDIT: Unilocal took down my photo of Chipotle’s generic Twitter response to the E. coli-related closing. If you haven’t paid attention to the news, all stores in Washington and Oregon were closed for several weeks; the source was never found but they were allowed to reopen with reinvigorated safety protocols. Two Bellevue stores have since failed health inspections. I think for my money, I will be eating elsewhere. I don’t trust these guys.

Cold meats(out of steak at 1pm with a 30min wait — because… Shrugs. «Nobody called it out?» And then deadpan silence) sauces slopped on, and a burrito that’s more like fillings with a tortilla kinda tucked around it. Seriously. The way they wrap a burrito almost ensures that all the contents leak out. Maybe that’s why everybody gets rice bowls here? But, hey! At least the place is clean! Although, it’s definitely amusing that 5 chipotle employees forgot to replenish items or even properly help people. Man, W. Seattle chipotle. What is up?

fast, easy, and more/less healthy alternative for when you don’t have time to cook or don’t feel like cooking. I’ve only had the bowls(carnitas and chicken), which I really liked. I’m happy with my experience, and will no doubt have it in the rotation.

This location just opened and there is leeway to be had for that reason, but this location needs to get it together. I’ve been here probably around 15 to 20 times since it opened and I can recall at least 4 separate occasions where the line was all the way to the door because someone forgot to cook more chicken and it was going to be at least 10 minutes. You will also need to repeat 4 times what kind of rice, beans, and meat you want on your burrito to any of the staff. What the customer service lacks, the food picks up. Even when I’ve had to wait 25+ minutes to be helped, the food is always delicious. With that being said, I will probably keep coming here on my lunch breaks, but the customer service is unfortunately pretty terrible.

3 stars for being a chipotle. The food is obviously great but this particular location needs work. I was fortunate enough to live 4 years near the premier chipotle, the shining example, heaven on earth; that’s right, the university district chipotle on the ave. that place deserves to be named a historic Seattle landmark. It puts every other Seattle location to shame. This west Seattle chipotle is no where near as terrible as the downtown location but dude… chipotle is famous for their generous portions and someone needs to clue the staff in. Service is slow and there appears to be staff members just wandering around or standing awkwardly off to the side not really sure what to do. At least look busy. Anyway, chipotle is great, but this location needs work.

I must put a review for my favorite fast food chain and one time for the haters on Unilocal. So many negative people and as you can tell by my reviews I am on the happier side of life. When in for lunch and staff was super friendly, ordered a salad,(they did not forget my dressing unlike other locations) I got double meat and the chicken was super fresh and juicy. Chips and Quac were fresh as well. All the tables were clean and love the modern design of the lights and tables. I will be back every week!

New store and 1st visit. Quick service but the dining room had more messy tables with food than clean tables. Maybe 6 people in the store at 2pm. I’ll give them a shot, but first impression a bit on the fence. Food was great

Although I like to have Chipotle on occasion so I can feel like I am eating a bit healthier Mexican, I can’t see myself supporting this store. The service was poor, the food prep was messy, and most of all, it doesn’t belong in the junction in our little village of West Seattle. Chipotle belongs in a strip mall or more congested shopping mall or district like downtown. Call me crazy but this is not where I want to be when eating this food. It just doesn’t work. Whoever submitted high marks for this place must be friends of the employees. I will continue to get my tacos and burritos across the street at Guaymas.

This was my second time visiting this chipotle. The first time there was no one in line and we were served right away. The staff seemed distracted and didn’t pay much attention to our requests. The portions weren’t even close to the normal Chipotle portions. I got a small spoonful of rice and had to ask for extra 2 times. The same thing happened as I made my way down the line so I finally gave up asking for more since the server was busy talking to her coworker the entire time and wasn’t listening anyways. When we got to the cashier she was inputting something and she didn’t even acknowledge us at first. It took her 5 minutes to even ring us up. I was very disappointed in my first visit but I love chipotle so I decided to give it another shot tonight. I walked in and there was a line of about 10 people. It took my 10 minutes to just get to the front of the line. The portions were a little better this time but I still had to ask for extra cheese. I would have asked for extra meat but they RANOUTOFCHICKEN. How do you run out of chicken?!? I decided to go with the steak… I was served 6 pieces of steak… Yes 6! Not going back to this chipotle any time soon. I’ll drive 15 mins downtown to get a real meal.

My son was so excited to have a Chipotle near our house. This is a disappointing location… I think due to the low volume, the food doesn’t «turn over» fast enough… all the meat is «lukewarm» at best. We have had a bad experience at the southcenter location as well. There were 9 employees there today… no one working that efficiently. Tables were not being bused(so they were dirty) and for the line not being that long, it took a grueling amount of time. Downtown Bellevue location is the freshest and most efficient Chipotle.

DISCLAIMER: This is a review of the customer service or lack thereof present at this specific Chipotle location. I am die hard Chipotle lover as far as taste goes. I understand that this is a brand new location, with brand new staff. Even so, I am extremely disappointed in my experiences at this location thus far. To be told in a line at a «fast food» restaurant during lunch hour, that I can only place TWO of the THREE orders that I had hoped to because the staff cannot handle its own volume is completely unacceptable. And to be told by someone with no apparent sympathy that I should know that orders of such«difficulty» can be placed online, is beyond unacceptable. I’m hopeful that the customer service and experience level at this location will only improve but have never been so shocked or disappointed at my experiences with this food chain.

Chipotle rocks! I’m so glad we have one in West Seattle now. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I love Chipotle. In fact… given the choice i would probably name my first born chipotle. So you can imagine my excitement when i heard that there was a Chipotle opening in my neighborhood. Once i saw the Chipotle sign go up during construction… my mouth started to water. I had a mental countdown until it opened, and lo and behold… on September 12th(two days after it opened) my heart fluttered as i drove through the Junction to park and get a much needed and much deserved dinner. As i walked in, i felt like i was home. Angels were singing in my head, i felt like i might cry tears of joy. There was a long line, but i knew there would be. I’m not the only west seattlite with the hunger for this stuff. Line was moving slower than usual, my stomach was rumbling. I reminded myself«its okay Rose, they just opened, you will be fine». After what seemed like an eternity, i placed my order for a burrito bowl to go. Rice? Beans? You bet your ass i want rice and beans. Meat? Carnitas, meat from the heavens. Then… things turned dark. The girl on the line put barely a half portion of meat in my burrito bowl. I felt sad, like maybe she didn’t hear the certainty in my voice? But before i knew it, she pushed the bowl along to the next person. «Its okay…» I reassured myself. «She’s new, its a new store». I asked for corn salsa, which is my favorite. I would take baths in this stuff if i could. Then… like a sharp knife to the heart, she barely put half a spoonful in my bowl. I felt betrayed, what is going on??? Surely this cant be a trend! Moved on to cheese. I have an unhealthy obsession with cheese, i felt like this would surely save my sad little burrito bowl. This girl, this girl who could have given herself the redemption she needed… sprinkled some cheese into the bowl. SPRINKLED. WHY??? Oh god what did i do to deserve this? On to sour cream, NOTEVEN A DOLLOP. Guac? YES I WILLPAYEXTRAFORGUAC. A sad… pathetic…little spoon full. I felt empty inside. Like the world would end. Because i am a self proclaimed Chipotle addict, i will return. You can bet your bottom dollar. But please, for the love of all that is holy, please fix your portions. West Seattle Chipotle you have so much promise, and i don’t want to break up with you before this relationship can truly flourish.

Calm down good citizens of West Seattle, Chipotle just opened and seem to be doing a good job off the bat. We have gone twice, once when the lines were long, once when there was no line. Naturally, it pays to head in off hours. The food both times was amazing and the service was polite — they are just getting up to speed, so I assume it can only get better from here. I love the food and plan on making it a weekly stop, if not more. Matador and Cactus will still be my go-to places for entertaining friends, but it’s nice to finally have a solid option for quick and easy burritos and tacos in the junction. No offense to the other two Mexican places across the street, but each of times I patronized them, I was underwhelmed. I’d rather support independent businesses, but Chipotle is a chain I can agree with.

Uuugh, my fiancé & I stopped in for dinner last evening because we were excited to try the new Chipotle in West Seattle. We walked in and there were roughly 10 – 12 people in line. Knowing how fast the Downtown Chipotle moves people through the line, we figured it would be a ‘wait’ but not anything longer than 5 – 10 minutes. Ooooh boy, we were wrong. We waited close to 25 – 30 minutes before approaching the ordering station and it didn’t get any faster from there. In our wait, I think at least 5 – 6 people left their spot in line and walked out. Bottom line, these workers need more training. There didn’t seem to be anyone in charge and each station was very slow and nonchalant. For us, personally, the food is fantastic but quick/prompt service is what brings us back to Chipotle. I understand they just opened, so there will be some learning curves here, but we won’t be back until these issues are corrected. Things that need work: –Service must be quicker –Workers need better training –No manager on duty –Lobby needs to be cleaned more frequently Things that are good: –Food was excellent(once we got it) –Portions were fine(I saw another comment regarding portions) –Staff was very friendly(personable and kind)

Let me just say I am a huge Chipotle fanatic. I must eat it at least once a week. Its something about the guac. Anyways. I just moved to West Seattle and I was very excited that I live near this new location. Echoing what Linda mentioned about portioning I do feel as though this particular Chipotle tends to be on the stingy side. I understand you can always ask for extra, but after the first two times it just seems a bit excessive to ask for extra rice, beans, etc. I really don’t want EXTRA I just want the usual portion that I would get at any other Chipotle. The staff is nice, I haven’t noticed the dirty tables– in fact every time I have been in the floors are clean, tables are clear and soda station is stocked.

This place needs a serious quality control intervention! Tables are dirty and left uncleaned. It doesn’t seem like there is an adult in charge, just a bunch of nice enough kids trying to figure out what they are supposed to be doing. Food is okay, but we won’t be back until they resolve these issues. Even a fast food restaurant should be kept cleaner than this.
