Incredibly slow service. Was the only one in the drive thru. Order was wrong. Staff don’t greet you when you pull into the window. When you complain about the service they act confused. I’ve had an ongoing issue with the service there a few times. The managers have no clue what the hell they are doing, if they are present to begin with. I’m not coming back to this location. I’ve come back hoping it would get better over time, however it’s proven to be a waste of time. When I went in the summer they NEVER had AC the place smelled like grease. Is the owner of this franchise involved? I would be ashamed to have a business like this under my name. ASHAMED! Mica I believe is the name of the girl I’ve dealt with a few times and Ivan before her, complete joke. It shouldn’t take 25 minutes to get fast food. This whole place is just a mess! I love the food and blizzards but the service, staff, the outdated inside, the wait just over it!

Slowest most horrible service ever! I go to this Dairy Queen A LOT! I live down the street and I go there before work IF I have a lot of time to spare. EVERY time I go there the service is always VERY slow. I’ve pulled in to the greeting speaker and I’ve been left parked there while the staff if chatting in the window which you can clearly see from the greeting speaker. This time around I pulled in and the person at the window kept getting my order wrong.(This happens all the time since their English is horrible) Finally after fifteen minutes of trying to get my order right I’m told to go to the window. I pull into the window and no one greets me for about four minutes. She takes my card and closes the window without saying anything and once more leaves. I’m given my drink which I ordered with no ice… In a cup half full of ice. I had spent almost 25 minutes in the drive thru so I just kept quiet because at this point I was about to go off on them. My burgers were given to me and I noticed the time on my phone and realized I had to get to work. After the burgers were given to me the window was closed on me without saying anything(no bye, thank you, have a nice day… Nothing) I stayed there waiting because I still had a sundae coming do I knocked on the window and and the employee rudely opens it and says(yeah?) So I tell ask her if I’m getting my sundae and she rudely responds(what sundae?!) so I just drove away pissed at the fact that they didn’t even have my meal completed. This is the third time this has happened in the last month. WAIT there’s more! I open up my food and this is where I loose it. I have severe allergies so I can’t have a lot of their sauces and I’m allergic to tomato. I always ask for them to remove items for the fourth time since living in this area in the last three months they ignored that request. I was unable to eat any of my meal except for my drink and fries. I realized as I looked for the number that they did not give me a receipt when I left. I had to google the number to call them. When I called I was told there was no manager on duty. I asked for the contact of the franchise owner because after many problems with the rude staff, the allergy issues, long waits and issues I’ve had with their managers(who by the way have no knowledgeable experience in their field or how to properly deal with customer complaints) I felt that at this point it was time to reach a higher authority and I was refused that information. So I decided to contact Dairy Queen Corporate. They will be hearing from them. Done throwing my time and money away to these people and this establishment!

Blizzards– amazing! Although the service is slow, the employees are super nice. I don’t know why everyone complains about the service, it takes time to make a quality blizzard!

Been here 5 times not every time worse than the last. The food takes way too long and staff seem not to care. I went for the new bakes and they were cold and not worth the 30 min wait. I have ordered the ice cream and they seem to be able to get that right for the most part but still super slow.

Idk why everyone is tripping over the customer service, I come to this DQ every once and a while and most times I get helped by the same nice teen in drive through, who not only is super kind but also goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect. Who ever trained him did a amazing job. White center DQ, you guys have a great worker. To you DQ worker with the man bun and the buttons on his visor, keep up the good work and don’t listen to the bad reviews talking about bad customer service. You were real af *update* So I went again to my fav DQ on Monday to get myself some of that amazing ice cream that I always get cause that’s my shi* Same kid helped me in drive through, he complimented my 2016 Audi R8 and told me I had great taste in cars. He made my order perf and had me on my way. Had to give the young one a fat tip cause I know he works harder then for what he’s being paid. #blacklivesmattee

Who can give DQ a bad review? It’s DQ! Who cares about the service? They have Blizzards.

Service here is always so slow. My husband and I was craving blizzards so we went through drive-thru because our son just fell asleep from a long adventurous day. On their drive-thru menu it says that if they do not serve their blizzards upside down, you get it free! When we got to the window the lady told me my total amount, I paid. She then gave us the first blizzard right side up and I nicely said with a smile, «Aren’t you suppose to serve the blizzards upside down?» and she quickly and rudely responded, «I mean, yeah, I guess if you want me to». I responded, «I said that because that’s what your menu says.» Mind you, I’m not at all being rude about it. I just don’t approve of false advertising so if that was the case, I needed to tell them to fix it if they won’t grant it. A lady came to the window shortly after which happened to be the manager and she asked for my name(but didn’t write it down) and continued on with«Ok, you get your free blizzard at your next visit. Just tell us your name when you order.» While she’s telling me this the lady who served us the blizzard hands my husband the 2nd blizzard and with an OBVIOUSRUDEHANDGESTURE quickly flips the blizzard upside down and right side up and hands it to him. Um, no. I’m sorry but that is probably why you work at DQ because your customer service and patience sucks and anywhere else you’d get canned quick. This place is just a mess. Not sure I’d even go back to get the free blizzard.

Worse customer service ever after I was served my blizzard and it was served upright I asked about the blizzard promotion they said it’s not supposed to spill and he grabbed my blizzard tipped it over slightly and said and yours didn’t spill I said I’m pretty sure that’s not the promotion you are supposed to hand it to me upside down I was saying that as he was walking away and asking another employee if they knew what the promotion was and she laughed and said no by then the other guy had started doing something else so even though the other employee that he had asked about the promotion said she didn’t know it even though she handed me 2 of my 4 blizzards I bought and had served them upside down so even if they’re not doing the promotion they not 1 time had they said that and I ended up leaving very disappointed in the customer service and the cone they made was very poorly made also and didn’t have the DQ signature swirl at the top! We have been visiting this DR off and on for the last 2 years and 9 times out of ten the customer service is horrible this just did it for me we will take our business elsewhere!

I went to this Dairy Queen for a couple Blizzards on my birthday. The Blizzards themselves were excellent and the cashier was very kind. The reason I give a 3 star rating is because they used the wrong lid sizes, gave no napkins, and overfilled one of them. These Blizzards were to be kept in a car for a short ride to downtown and it made a really big mess all over me since I had to hold them. Perhaps I should have asked for napkins, but it seemed like something that should have been freely offered/provided.

They don’t serve anything but meat, cheese, and carbs. Pretty much burgers, chicken strips and fries. The food is just not that good. And if you don’t have a coupon, they are expensive! They really are only a dessert place.

Stopped by on the late night to fulfill a long awaited Blizzard craving. My first impression was a young, immature, unprofessional staff. Not judging a book by its cover here, it was clear they had no direction and were there just to collect a paycheck. There were about 7 people waiting to order. Me being near the end of the line I was able to observe my surroundings. There were team members standing around, someone sweeping viciously in the kitchen. The sweeper in the kitchen was concerning as I am not sure if that is exactly sanitary?! Dirt/Dust + Food = EEEK! The lady taking our order didn’t know how to ring up our blizzards and needed to get help. Assuming she was in training it didn’t bother me. However, the lack of staff willing to come help her appalled me. My blizzard was good. The normal DQ Blizzard. It has been a few years since I have had a Blizzard so I am not sure if it still applies but they didn’t tip it upside-down prior to giving it to me. Kinda bombed. I wanted the full experience. The restaurant is in need of some major remolding. The windows were foggy and steamed up as if someone was taking a hot shower. Kinda nasty! The placed smelled old and stale. I took my Blizzard to go so I didn’t get to experience much more. My next trip will defiantly be via drive thru if I get the urge to devour a Blizzard again.

More like a 3.5, but I was a little scared getting here so I’m rounding down. Unfair? Probably. My friends and I were near White Center after attending the Tako Truk/Two Beers Haitian Relief Party and felt like some DQ. A quick search on their mobiles identified this location. It’s at the end of a street that has stores lining both sides. Mostly porn stores and bars. Limited lighting. The store itself was clean, bright, but empty, a little bit dated(kind of an 80s time warp). The person at the counter was patient and courteous. He had our orders done quickly. We sat at a booth to eat our treats and were out the door in less than 15mins. The drive back to the freeway was more interesting. Some kind of yelling match between a man and woman and a broken bottle. Hm, ok, let’s get out of here!

When I was teeny… well… almost teeny — I’ve always had this gargantuan nose, and it was only as I got older that my head finally grew to match it – we used to go to the beach in L.A. On the way home, my dad would stop off at Foster’s Freeze for ice cream cones dipped in chocolate-magic-shell-topping-stuff. When I went to Santa Monica College, the campus was located kitty-corner to that same Foster’s, and I’d head over for nostalgic ice cream treats. Now that I’m in Seattle, Dairy Queen has taken on the role of providing me with that sometimes-needed nostalgic re-connection. During one such trip, my ex introduced me to the cherry flavored magic-shell topping. At first I scoffed, but… damn, that was good! And only available during the summer. Well, I happened by this Dairy Queen not too long ago, it happened to be summer, and sure enough, cherry shell on chocolate ice cream. Mmmmm. Tasteh! And a similar color to my skin when I was teeny and didn’t get enough suntan lotion on!

Sometimes you just have to have a real blizzard. Or maybe buffalo chicken strips with fries. This Dairy Queen can make that happen for you. They’ll probably do it with a smile on their face. Can’t shake a stick at that(though I’ve never been exactly clear on why one would want to shake a stick). P. S. I’ve tried going to other Dairy Queens and not all of them have the buffalo chicken strips. *tear*

Franchise. White Center . Moving on, I have never had anything wrong with my food from there. They always helped with a smile if sometimes taking a break to communicate in another language through the entirety of putting together a large order and looking over and me… possibly disscussing me, but everybody has that nervosa every once in awhile. It’s clean(not the bathrooms but the don’t make food in there and I don’t stick around too long), they’re quick(as long as you’re clear and no mumbling into your coat to ESL employee’s) and everything is up to Dary queen snuff. It’s good enough(see what I did there?), and thats all anybody can say about a chain. Good job White center.

If it’s the weekend and it’s sunny and I’ve seen a Dairy Queen commercial on TV I’ll want a Blizzard. And guess what this place delivers every time. It’s in a sketchy part of town. The inside can be a bit sticky and messy. The staff appears to be a tiny bit crazy, singing and dancing in the dining area while customers are trying to eat. But the Blizzards are always perfect, that’s all I go for no need to get anything else.

I hit the drive thru. It was 1:45pm. The voice behind the speakerbox was friendly and patient. Ordered this: ½ lb. Flamethrower GrillBurger™ Two thick, juicy ¼ lb. burgers, smothered in a fiery Tabasco flavored mayo with pepper jack cheese and jalapeño bacon. Wanna see a pic? It is a lot of meat. It tastes good. I got the meal — the fries were okay(not as good as McDougals), but they DO serve Pepsi products, which I prefer. Here is my beef: at about 10pm the most horrendous bout of gas descended upon me and did not let up for a few hours. Most likely culprit: the DQ Flamethrower.
