Reign is Madison Park’s best kept secret! This salon is easy to miss, but I received probably the best haircut and style I have had in a long time and most recently a balayage service that far exceeds any color service I have received from senior stylists at Gene Juarez. It is a nice, low key salon and I’m so happy to have found Reign!

Just moved to Seattle! Tried a salon in Madison Park — CHOPPERS! A young stylist by the name of REIGN did a wonderful job! I brought in a picture like most do (A short spunky hairstyle) — she colored, cut and styled my hair exactly the way I requested! Definitely worth a try… Already made my second appointment!

I stumbled into this quaint little salon from a friends recommendation when I was in desperate need of a cut and color. When I first walked in, it wasn’t really what I expected. I definitely know now, not to «judge a book by its cover.» My hairstylist Reign, really listened to what I wanted for my color and helped me figure out what would be best for the look I wanted to achieve.
I am very picky when it comes to dying my hair, but she explained each step, which made me feel very comfortable.
She also cut off about 6-​inches of my very long hair, and although I was hesitant at first to go «short,» I absolutely love my shoulder length hair. It’s very easy to style so it’s low maintenance. My head now feels super light without the long hair weighing down my neck.
Overall, my experience at Choppers with Reign was a great success. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be going back for more cut and color in the future!

I went to choppers to get peek-​aboo highlights. Reign was my stylist at salon Nuevo and has been doing my color for a few years. I won’t go to anyone else because when it comes to coloring my hair, I am pretty particular.
The one thing I love about reign is she won’t tell you to do something that is going to damage your hair. I’ve wanted to do some things but knowing my hair she gave me different suggestions or I waited till my hair was a little healthier. I’ve been to other places and they would just bleach your hair and wouldn’t care about your long term effects on your hair and my hair would be Fried afterwards.
Reign will listen to what you want and make you feel comfortable in her chair. I always bring my Pinterest pics so I can show her what I want.
Overall, I give this salon 5 stars! Oh, and there is a cute bakery next door with delicious baked goods that you can munch on while you are getting your hair done. :)

Got a cut and color (balayage) here by Reign. She is so sweet and fun to talk to. And my hair turned out great. She says she used just a little bleach (I need bleach to lighten my Asian hair) so it wouldn’t damage too much. I have gotten so many compliments. I was feeling a little blah so this was exactly what I needed.

50 bucks for two of the worst haircuts I have seen on my kids. They sat still as can be through the massacre. Each time I asked for something to get changed, it got worse. Oh yeah, the place is dirty and no one is there on a Saturday. The only reason it got more than one star is that it is close to my house. We won’t be going back!
