The bagels themselves are spectacular, easily comparable to East Coast bagels. We’ve been coming here since this location opened, before that going from Seattle to Redmond for a couple of years. The last several times service slowed, inefficiency & the line increased, & today I waited more than 10 minutes for someone to take my order.

Sad face! I just got back to my office to find I paid $ 4.37 for a toasted everything bagel and a LIGHT smearing of veggie cream cheese. Bummer!
I have been coming Blazing Bagels for years and have always had positive experiences — usually my toasted bagels runneth over with cream cheese and I don’t generally mind paying top dollar for a quality product. SO, I’ll keep four stars as my review of how things typically are but if this is the new trend with increased prices for decreased product, I won’t be coming here much longer.

Blazing Bagels has some excellent bagel options. The range of flavors is wide and everyone is bound to find a flavor they’ll like. I’m a fan of all their cheesy bagels, and the bagels themselves are all huge. The bagels are also very soft, which I’m a fan of.
The cream cheeses are tasty and well-​flavored. I’ve tried the honey walnut and lox — both are great.
The pricing is a little on the higher side, but because of how large the bagels are, you get your money’s worth. The coffee isn’t bad, either.
Definitely better than Panera bagels, in my opinion.

We were hoping to give it more. It’s just that they can’t seem to make a sandwich the way that my wife ordered it. She wanted a plain corn beef on rye … dry. She’s fussy. Got it to go. When we arrived in Mount Vernon we found that it was indeed made wrong. Saurkraut, cheese, as well as dressing. Talk about a disappointment. And it wasn’t even busy. So sad.

Updating from my previous review. The manager reached out and offered us a do-​over for our not great sandwiches. We returned and ordered the same sandwiches and they were… great! And the girls at the counter were really cool about it. I’ve been making a habit of stopping in here for weekend breakfast. Nice work, guys!

Will never go back. Went three times total. The guy who mans the counter is rude, and condescending. Rolls his eyes when you don’t order the way he thinks you should. I went to eat, not to be made to feel like an idiot. Fuck them. There are better bagels elsewhere with nicer people.

Horrible customer service. Won’t ever go back and that was my first time. Counter helper was a guy who was very put off by my ordering questions never having been there before and at the same time gave attitude to the cust he was helping when the cust reminded the worker he needed the bagels cut in half.

Yes we have no bagels today…
So I went down to your Sodo store to buy a dozen bagels at 12:15PM last Saturday. The store had no garlic, onion, or everything bagels. It had only had only one left each of the plain and sesame.
Boy…talk about the «invisible bagel»…that describes a good part of your store. I picked what I could and left disappointed…
Update– Blazing Bagels was nicely willing to respond to my Unilocal review with an apology. Thanks. They mentioned serving «locals», Hey I’m a local too! This is a satellite store, the bagels are made in Redmond, so the bagels are not as fresh or on occasion run short. They suggested calling ahead, not practical just to pick up some sesame bagels.

Very laid back location. The staff are very friendly and they know their bagels.
I got a half dozen, and have tried the French Toast and Pretzel so far. Both of them were good! Definitely chewy and filling. Compared to Einstein’s, Blazing’s are denser and heavier. Einstein’s are more pillowy and softer.

After moving from Chicago, it took some time for us to find our new go to bagel spot. Enter Blazing Bagels! If you’re looking for a place in Seattle with good bagels and a variety of cream cheese options, this place nails it. On occasion, I’ve also been known to enjoy their tasty breakfast bagel sandwiches. Yummmmmmm!

Really liked this place and the selection is outstanding. I found the elusive Egg bagel which is hardly made most places. I got a BLAT sandwich with cream cheese instead of mayo and it was delicious! Nice service too. Will be back for more of their many options.

I was in the area visiting friends & had some extra time to waste. I was hungry but in the mood for something light so i decided to use the nearby feature on my Unilocal app & boy am I glad I did. This place is super clean, cozy & inviting. I ordered a turkey sandwich along with a juice. It definitely hit the spot plus the employees were very polite & helpful. I decided to bring home some bagels for my friends & they were also a hit.

I love this place! Always clean and inviting! Too bad about the other poor reviews, my bagels have always tasted super fresh and the sandwiches are amazing! I love all the different options for a different sandwich every time. The service here is above and beyond, what a friendly group of people! Freddy is the best and delivers the same service to a new face as to regulars, a true sign of a great business with fantastic employees!

Fresh baked daily was a nice draw but their bagels was a little bit too dried in my liking, but I will definitely give this place a try.

There is a Blazing Bagels shop at the stadium down the street, but I think this location is better if you don’t work immediately next to the stadium and/​or aren’t attending some sporting event. This location is much bigger and has a bit of seating, and a small parking lot.
There is a decent variety of bagels here — they also have bialy here too. The bagels here are OK. Later in the day I believe the bagels get really dry (or maybe they’re dry to begin with?). Also a single bagel is kind of expensive, $ 1.15 by itself. The cream cheese is not that flavorful to me. It just looks and tastes like white paste.
Also, their credit card machine printer was slow as molasses. It took a good minute or two to get the receipts printed.

But I can’t give this place five-​stars just yet… They still have some things to nail out.
(A guillotine wasn’t/isn’t available to customers, knives weren’t/aren’t placed out so patrons can schmeer their own cheese.)
Of course… that just means I’ll have to return again later, to see if they’ve fixed these issues. :-)
Other than that, this place has FAR more table-​space than any of the other locations.
The bagel serving method is like the Bellevue & Safeco stores, rather than the original Redmond location. Meaning, instead of using the tongs yourself to self-​serve your bagels from the bins (Redmond style), you tell the employees at the counter which ones you want and they pick them for you.
Same tasty bagels and baked goods!
Same AWESOME bagel sandwiches.
Same tasty samples as well!
Same delicious spreads.
If they stay open late, for SODO shows this place would be AWESOME snack before hitting the Showbox!
