We live in the area and frequent Bick’s throughout the year and have been for about 15 years. The servers are very friendly and do a great job. I’d also like to give a shout out the kitchen crew. They’ve got it going on!!! We always get the Fire Starter with 1 habanero and the rest jalapeños. It’s one of my favorite things that I like to put in my mouth :) The burgers are AWESOME. Sometimes overcooked but that doesn’t take away from their flavor. And the buns are always toasted very well. I like to get blue cheese/bacon and extra crispy fries. Every other dish is always solid and well seasoned. We rarely get their special board but it always looks great. Those burgers are just too tempting. Bick’s is great for kids and families. My nephew loves the ribs and they always have a simple sautéed seasonal vegetable available for him as an appetizer!

Yummy mussels, flatop chx, burger, firestarter and best of all the cocktails. They are only open from 5 – 10PM so it’s limited but we can always get seated and the food is consistently good. It’s loud so great for parents w/little ones. In consideration of the price, quality of the food, tastiness and overall experience — I would consider this 5 stars.

Had an amazing meal ! Halibut is amazing and perfectly cooked. Pork tenderloin was excellent and perfectly cooked. We recommend a bottle of the Patterson’s red blend. We will be back soon!

I’ve continued to return since Bick’s Broadview Grill has been my go-to for about 15 years-plus. I’ve stopped in probably half a dozen times since my last review… grand improvement and has remained consistent. Great selection of apps/small plates, entrees, specials, desserts and a full bar. Placed is packed within one hour of opening daily at 5pm. Terrific wait staff. And those steaks… their line crew that work their magic on that grill! Three and four stars elevated to a five.

I came to Bick’s last night for my first time on recommendation from a friend living in the area. I really love spicy food, so he suggested I stop in here for a meal. He was right! Loved it. My wife and I split four of the small plates between the two of us and had a desser each, a couple of beers. Walked out of the place quite full — and at a super reasonable price — we really felt there was a ton of value. We ordered smoked duck quesadillas — super smoky flavor, probably overpoweringly so for some but I liked them a lot. Fry bread was an interesting dish — spicy grilled peppers with fry bread and a creamy cheese(goat I think) was good. Would’ve been a bit more accessible if Ty cheese was spread over all the bread. Beefcheek tacos were AMAZING. Truly. Mormon potato balls were kickass. Texture was spot on with a soft interior, crispy outer. Was good to smooth out the spiciest if the fry bread. Dessert was three tiny crime brûlée and I had a blackberry cobbler that really hit the spot. Service was so nice, both our host, server, and the gentleman who brought food to the table from kitchen. Everyone was super nice, very comfortable and welcoming. It made for a GREAT birthday dinner for me. I’ll be coming back again very soon!

This place was so delicious! It is located on the corner in an unassuming house. The servers here were really nice and attentive and the food was excellent. We had the Mormon funeral potatoes to start with. They were deep fried and came with an avocado cream sauce. It was a delicious appetizer! For dinner I had the burger with carmelized onions with gouda cheese and bacon. It was one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had. The burger was cooked to perfection. I had mine medium and it was delicious. The bun didn’t get soggy as you were eating either, so another plus! The bacon added was a thick cut bacon. The burger also came with fries which were very good. The food may be a little more expensive(~$ 18) but all plates at our table were completely clean by the end of the meal. I would definitely eat here again sometime!

Dang… realllllly wanted to like this place better. Great service… but the food… not sure how this is a 2 $ ranking place… not even close… with Drink and full menu item with salad the price is much higher… and limited menu not really much to pick from. Size of portions of small plates was more like bites/tasters and prices are like a full menu item. Too bad… was hoping for better.

My roommate and I like to get together once a month and she chose this place because it’s near our old place. It was amazing. . The service was excellent; we had a young male server who was very friendly and enthusiastic about the food. We had some fancy cocktails(the Italy to France… something like that… vodka citrus drink), we had the beet salad, miso Caesar salad, fire starter, and smoked duck quesadilla. Every single thing we had was great! So much flavor! For dessert we had the coconut ice cream pie… whoa guys… it’s incredible. I will be back for sure! I want to try the crab cakes and cheesecake!

4⁄5 left my id at home so no idea what the bar situation was like. The wait staff was friendly and quick to help me to a table, even letting me grab my own table. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and even though it was pricey, the meal was more than worth it. The kobe burger was fantastic and the fries that come with it were golden and perfectly fried, making it difficult know where to dig in first. This is a great place to go in ballard.

That Southwest chicken sandwich felt like heaven with a kick in every bite! This place is a little pricey but well worth it if you can afford it.

After driving past Bick’s every day on my way to work and into the City, My Wife and I decided to give it a shot one evening. We arrived and were surprised at how much bigger it is inside that it looks from the outside. The front is the ‘Bar’ area and seems comfortable. We were having dinner so we were escorted further back to one of the booths along the wall. Very spacious booth and clean. Our Server was very professional, personable and informative. We ordered Cocktails and were surprised at how fast they came out and that they actually tasted like a Cocktail. Not a watered down version with some kind of juice over a glassful of ice. The Appetizer was awesome and arrived in a timely manner. Not with the Entrée as so many places do. Our Entrees were also very good. We were impressed with the food, the service, the timeliness and cleanliness of this place. We were heading into the City to go to the Symphony and as always, were aware of time but the service was spot on for timing and we made it Downtown in plenty of time and did not feel rushed at all. I would definitely recommend Bick’s and we will definitely be going back! Next time maybe sit in the Bar and enjoy drinks and lighter fare.

Average at best. Nothing exciting about drinks, food, ambiance, and certainly overpriced. A glass of wine I ordered seemed to have gone bad, though notably the staff was helpful in replacing it with something else.

I really wanted to like this place since the reviews were good. It is also just a stone’s throw from our house. Both my dish and my wife’s dish were bland. I noticed there were a lot of sauces so maybe the make it more bland for you to add sauce but no one let us know. Anyway, for the price I would expect a tasty meal without having to add flavor. Oh well. We won’t be returning…

Everything was perfection. If you like spicy, the Firestarter small plate is for you! Our party had Surf & Turf, Chili Rellano, Spicy Shrimp and Polenta, and Lobster Wrap small plate with side of Grilled Shrimp. We shared the Blackberry Cobbler with the best vanilla ice cream I’ve ever had. Service was fantastic, we were there just as they opened on a Tuesday night. Highly recommend!

1. A little pricy $$ 2. Braised pork tacos — very good, perfect amount of spice for someone who prefers medium spice(Bick’s provides multiple hot sauces for those who like the fire) 3. Mousse in a Mug — bomb; I’m not really a dessert person but this one got me; extremely rich, but add the cream and it’s effin heavenly 4. Crab cake trio — decent, not worth the price 5. Thought it was weird that their fountain drinks are in little plastic bottles

I never set out to make this a regular, but it is. Just based on empirical evidence. Sunday night roles around… and we are here again and again. The menu is interesting. The place is inside. It’s very adult. Very Greenwood. They make solid cocktails. Not the newest /best /hippest /cutting-edgies food… just a solid.

Meh. Fancy foofy poofy spendy. Great for folks with money that want a «bar and grill» experience with a side of seasonal salmon moose. Not for me, but if you like the«super tiny pile of attractive food in the middle of an enormous plate for $ 30», then you’re in luck.

We don’t live far from Bick’s, but had never stopped in until the other night. I heard the burgers were pretty good, but that really wasn’t the case – the burger I had was one of the best I ever had! If you’re a burger fan, you won’t go wrong with this classic. Cooked just the way I liked it(medium rare) with a hint of a crust on the outside, it was fantastic. The menu is your typical neighborhood grill, with chicken/salad/steak standbys. Looked good, but I haven’t tried them yet, and I probably won’t, since I’ll be going back for the BURGER! The room is nothing special. In fact, I’d say I’m not a fan, as it seems very cold and under decorated, with no window treatments(and they really should fix the window that has been cracked and is held together with tape). There is a nice deck too, for those wonderful Seattle summer evenings when it doesn’t get dark until way late o’clock. Service was OK, polite and efficient. Parking can be tough, although they do have a number of parking places. So, all-in-all, I’m torn between three stars and four stars. If the room were nicer, it would be no question that they’d get four. But, honestly, the burger was so good that I’m going«four stars» anyway.

If you know me, the word ‘grill’ in a restaurant name sometimes makes me run in the other direction. Bick’s? Thanks for breaking through that for me. I’ve been a few times and always order the same thing: salmon(?) with black sesame seeds… the coconut rice with black sesame seeds is very mild in its sweetness and the grilled(?) fish is simply dressed. I’m obsessed with heat, but I don’t like it when I can’t taste anything else after I’ve eaten the-very-hot-thing. In my cupboard, I have some ghost chili salt and have only used it a couple of times, since I know it’s a meal-finisher for me. The restaurant reminds me of a converted Craftsman. It’s very homey. Although, the hominess feel could come from the wall of hot sauces circling the restaurant. If only I could line my walls of my home with hot sauces! So if you’re a spice-head, you’ll appreciate what Bick’s serves as an appetizer: Pita with goat cheese and roasted WHOLE habanero peppers! Habaneros are one of my favorite peppers because of their unusual flavor. They have the fresh bite of a bell pepper(with a tiny bit of sweet) and also has the pineapple aroma and flavor! All that, AND enough heat to make your napkin cry. Bick’s. Giving Szechuan restaurants a run for their money on the spice scale every day.
