This is my first visit to this location. The food was great the service was what will keep on bringing us to this location. Our server Brendan was just amazing. He was on top of things and was the friendliest, makes you feel at home.

We were seated quickly and the food came in a timely manner. The food was delicious! And the customer service was great. The prices of our food were good too. Overall we had a good experience.

This place is terrible. The service is terrible. The food wasn’t good. The pancakes were inconsistent. And I didn’t even get what I ordered So I got the dinner country fried steak. Except what came out was chicken tenders. What? Yeah. I was kind of speechless when the server gave it to me. But I was hungry and let it slide. I let the server know but said I didn’t want them to make the actual dish because the first one already took so long to get. The mashed potatoes tasted more like butter than potatoes. The onion rings were just eh. But the chicken tenders weren’t too bad. They gave me a container of butter too. Not sure why… My friend got the breakfast ultimate combo or something and the eggs were topped with oil, the bacon was half fat and half burnt, and the pancakes were really soggy. The 2nd set of pancakes(unlimited pancakes yay?) were better, but still not that good. The pancakes were super super salty. Really not what pancakes should taste like. The waiter took the cup of water to refill it. And hasn’t come back for 10 mins. Which I really don’t understand. I guess it’s understandable considering there’s one server for the entire place and there’s probably 10 tables and a part of 20 people. I was waiting to be seated for 10 minutes before I even saw an employee. We’ve been waiting for the pancake refill for 20 mins and waiting to pay for just as long. But somehow, the table next to me got to pay their bill immediate. My card has been on the bill on the table for 20 minutes. They server looked right at the card, and walked away. But took the other table’s card first? Such bad service. I had to ask the chef that came out for a box. That’s how bad it is. How ridiculous is it that the chef has to be my server. And unlimited pancakes? I wish. They’ve taken so long to bring the next plate out, I’m just leaving. It’s not worth waiting 30 minutes for 2 crappy pancakes anyway. I won’t come back here for sure. Bad food. Bad management. Bad service. Not worth the time and money.

IHOP, I love you, but not at this location. I’ve here 3 times over the last year. The first was for a company brunch and the food and service was good. The second time, also fine. My most recent 3rd visit was a disaster and I most likely will not return to this location until management make some changes to service, employee morale(all the employees seemed unhappy, and food quality). Here’s what needs to be changed: 1. Slow, unfriendly, inattentive service: We were seated quickly and after that our waiter seemed to have forgotten us and another waiter had to step in to take our orders. When I mentioned to both waiters at different times that I had a free pancake stack coupon because it was my birthday, I was met with silence, silence, and then«you have to print the coupon to use it.» Not a single smile? Never once did our waiter come back to check on us after the food was served until he was ready to give us the bill. At that point my boyfriend wanted to order more and the waiter looked annoyed. Now to top it off, we noticed that the price of one of the dishes on the bill didn’t match the the price on the menu. My boyfriend pointed it out and asked the waiter if it was because we asked for butter for our pancakes. At this point, our waiter(young man with blonde pony tail) because hilariously dismissive and interrupted my boyfriend. When we tried to explain to him that we were only trying to figure out why the number didn’t match, he later brings us a few coins to make up the difference and rudely asked«does this solve your problem.» You’re lucky we are not like our dads who would at that point chew you out and lecture you on the basics of customer service. 2. Small portions: Compared to the Capital Hill location where they cover half your plate with hash browns, the portion sizes at this location is laughable. The size of hash browns here can fit in the palm of my hand. I heard two guys complaining to the waiter that they didn’t have enough bananas on their pancakes. At first I thought they were just being difficult until I received my avocado benedict and saw the tiny slivers of avocado. 3. Quality of food: I was slightly concerned when I overheard the waiters asking each other where the cook is and maybe that’s why the food quality was lacking. The«turkey“on my benedict looked more like dried up chicken hidden under the thick hollandaise sauce.

Well it looks like you have to give at lease 1 full star, we should be able to give out less… Went in this afternoon about 12:30, we got out seats almost immediately(restaurant was not busy), the manager came over serves us coffee(which is good) and told us our waiter will take our orders soon… After 20 mins and watching the staff pass us, make eye contact, and help out other tables(with no one saying anything to is), we decided to leave… Didn’t want to just walk out since we drank coffee. I asked how much for 2 cups of coffee(plain)… That’s when there very eager to charge me $ 6.11(Starbucks does not change that much for a cup of coffee). After the bad service and being ignored for 20 mins I was not going to pay that much for plain coffee. Spoke to the manager on duty and again nice guy, offered to comp our meal if we sit down again(nice gesture) but told him no thanks, I appreciate it but not going to wait any longer(and do not want to risk getting the«special» ingredients) If you have the patience to wait more than 30 mins to go this IHOP please go. I know I won’t be going no more

I am so upset. I walked in last night to put a order in to-go after work. I was starving and crepes sounded great. I paid $ 17.51 for 2 crepes 2 eggs, a table spoon of hash browns and mini bacon. I ordered two extra crepes that never made it to my order. I am blown away. I gave the waiter $ 25.00 because I know that to go orders are a pain. I should have checked but he said he double checked everything himself so I believed him. Furious. $ 25.00 out the window. I didn’t eat the hash browns eggs and bacon because I was so mad. I’m headed back today with my over hard eggs(I ordered over easy), child size hash browns and bacon. I’m going to ask the manager if they would pay $ 25.00 for it. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Not THEE best breakfast food, but always tasty in our book! My husband and I usually come Fri-Sun morning, the busiest days I’m sure. We’ve never waited longer than 10 minutes for seating. One visit the waffles were cooked a bit too long, they came out practically burnt. I’m surprised the young girl who served it thought it was OK to bring out. However our waiter who quickly checked in with us noticed this and brought us a remake. Every time we’ve come employees are friendly and accommodating and we definitely appreciate the extra miles. 5 star service for sure.

I came here for breakfast. I ordered hot chocolate and when it came is only half a cup with whip cream on the top. I’m not sure if its free refills but I finished in 2 sips, so I put the cup in the corner of the table, so they can see it if need refills or ordered another one. I ordered the combo eggs, hash brown, bacon with pancake. The meal comes first but waiter said the pancake will take another 5min or so. I finished my meal in 8 min and the pancake it hasn’t come. Isn’t this place speciality for pancake? So the pancake arrived in 12min. The food was all right but I won’t come back to this ihop restaurant.

Went today and got country fried steak and eggs. Seems like the pancake mix was mixed incorrectly bc the pancakes tasted a little off, maybe a tad salty or something? The steak was the usual, as was the gravy. The hash browns had a distinct taste of oil, a little bitter. Not good. Also, the eggs(scrambled), were not done OR mixed well. There were portions that were white, portions that were very brown and some soft/runny parts. How do you mess up scrambled eggs? Will not be back for a very long time, if ever.

Dear Manager, It is a sad time at this IHOP on Aurora. We have been eating here for many years. Unfortunately I’m going to find a new place to enjoy some pancakes. What happened? The food is okay but the wait staff is impossible. I don’t want a lecture when I’m spending my money to eat at a restaurant. That happened to us last week and today from two different servers. I also really resent being told that I have to take an order exactly as it is described on the menu. I’m the customer. Somehow things have become very rigid at this restaurant. I expect to be treated with courtesy as well. I hope you read this.

Pray to Jesus that my stomach can easily digest the horribly drench t-bone steak and the solid rock pancake. I am so hungry that I have to eat. But I can’t finish it because it is so terrible. It feels like were eating at the hot sauna since the temperature is very hot. Food came almost half an hour after we order. Obviously I ordered medium rare and I got well done. Take forever just to fill my water. Owh well. lesson learned.

I like pancakes for breakfast, and can always count on IHOP for the pancake fix. Unfortunately I have experienced poor service at this location on multiple occasions. Parking is ample in the HT Oaktree shopping plaza. It is a convenient location right off of 99. You can even grab some Starbucks next door if you need a prior coffee fix. The food is decent. I almost always get pancakes when I come, and add eggs and sausage or bacon. I tried a lunch salad once which was a mistake, since it was served with old lettuce, little toppings very dull and also expensive. I will stick to the pancakes. The wait times are long. There was one occasion last year we were all stuck in the waiting area for 30 – 40 minutes on a Saturday morning, even though the dining room was nearly empty. Later we found out it was because the dishwasher broke, they didn’t have enough clean dishes to serve us, so they made us wait with no apologies. On another Saturday morning once we got seated, an associate was going around collecting all of the syrups to refill them. But then after we ordered and received our food, not only was there no silverware to eat my pancakes, but there was no syrup anymore either. We had to ask for both items while our food started getting cold. Again, there were no apologies when our items finally came. It is a shame that this keeps happening since this location is convenient for us. But if they keep this up, we’d be better off making the farther commute to Patty’s Eggnest, Original Pancake House or even Shari’s for a pancake experience worth our precious time and money.

I came here with a friend during dinner last night. The place had just a few tables on. We were greeted warmly and told to pick our table. After a few minutes, the waiter came over and took our orders. When he brought the food out, he had the orders switched but we just laughed it off. It took what seemed like a long time to get our food since there were only 5 other tables in the whole place. Other than that, the food was typical diner fare, and we were checked on regularly. The bus boy stopped by when we were finished eating and just talking. He offered to take our plates with his tub in hand. He didn’t understand me when I said no to taking my water so I shook my head. The parking lot is average. There are some odd handmade diaramas on the wall like 3 brown circles stapled to a board next to a sign explaining free pancakes. One of the plates given to me had a big chip. Our booth’s walls had been colored on in crayon, and the bench seat was being held together with duct tape. I won’t be coming back. I had a craving for waffles and IHOP1-upped it by having Chicken and Waffles on their menu! I went there for lunch. There was an average amount of people dining. We were seated and tended to immediately. Our server, Lee, was very gracious and quick. The limited time offer of all-you-can-eat pancakes was a bonus! After reading some of the less-than-desirable reviews, I fortunately found that this was not the case with our service and food. Nothing was too oily, sweet, or salty. My chicken was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and definitely not too salty(how chicken is usually messed up for me). I have a pecan allergy but decided to try for the first time the butter pecan syrup for my waffles. I absolutely loved it! The timing of the food and beverage service was impeccable. We never had to wait and ask for our waters to be refilled or for the next round of pancakes. The pancakes always came out warm and fluffy as if the staff/cook paced our eating. I’m definitely going to return to this location for my next chicken and waffle craving… and any new butter pecan syrup cravings! I only wish this location was open 24 hours as my cravings usually hit me during vampire hours.

While waiting for a table, I reviewed the menu. When I was led to the table, the waiter made a big deal about wiping down the seat before I sat down(it seemed clean to me) but left the ugly spatters on the syrup holder, that looked like they had been there a while, and would require some serious scrubbing to get off. The pancakes were too salty, and also had a metallic taste to them. The syrup tasted like chemicalized sugar water. The water tasted oily. My simple breakfast of three eggs, three pancakes and a slice of ham cost $ 11 with tax and tip. But at least they had a newspaper stand outside, so I could buy a paper, and it was warm and i could sit down, so that’s something.

Food is greasy, carelessly cooked — exactly what I have expected. My daughter likes the place cause of the pancakes but not me. Servers are wonderful though fast, hard working, very polite, 5 stars for them :)

Slowest IHOP I have ever visited. It wasn’t even that busy. Waitress barely came to our table. Don’t think I’ll return to this IHOP.

Instead of flogging myself this Sunday, I decided to partake brunch at the Aurora IHOP, after my favorite breakfast place, Rusty Pelican, had a 40-minute wait. The IHOP’s busy, but I get a table after less than 10 minutes. The coffee’s quick to come, but after 10 minutes, no server to take my food order. Now, I’d resorted to IHOP, due to a full day of going to Home Depot to buy paint and light fixtures, fixing up the house, cleaning the house, etc. I felt a low blood sugar episode coming on and waiting for 15 minutes to have my food order taken wasn’t helping. Finally, I flagged down a manager who yelled at the server, who finally took my food. The food. Buttermilk pancakes with the consistency of wet cardboard(as flavorful too). And whose bright idea it is to put the calorie count beside each and every menu item? A Combo Breakfast is basically my entire day’s calorie intake. The oatmeal is the healthiest thing on the menu, but who the hell goes to IHOP for goddamn oatmeal? Although I walked in wanting to eat the biggest thing they had, I ordered the Two x Two x Two(720 calories — the two representing the least number of pounds you’ll gain after eating the meal) walked out feeling 10lbs heavier, as unhealthy as lard, and my hunger still not satisfied. The service was the saving grace of the meal. After having his ass chewed off by the manager, No Ass went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of(if he spat in my coffee, I don’t wanna know about it). He apologized for his tardiness and was quick to offer any condiments I may need, and seemed very sincere in his apology. It’s not easy being a server at the Aurora IHOP and having to serve bitchy low-blood sugar Asian chicks with a house full of chores to accomplish,
