Service — Pitiful! Brandy «helped» me with the pre-​owned vehicle we bought from the sales dept the night before. It took them 3 days to do a recall on it before the car was even considered safe enough to drive even though they just sold it to us. We gave her a long list of safety things we needed addressed before we’d be satisfied and feel comfortable with it. The belt was screaming bloody murder EVERY time it was cold started. After 4 days they still couldn’t duplicate. I live way down in Auburn, so by the time I get my butt up there its too late to pick up the car from service, so sales gave us the key (service was closed at 6;30pm). What happens right after i start it up? The belt is screaming! The sales manager even recorded it on his phone wasn’t surprised they weren’t able to fix it.
A week goes by and I take the car back up there on a Saturday i had set up with Brandy yet again. The appt i had to drop off she said i could get a loaner car. Well surprise they were out of loaner cars, and it was too late (after noon) on a Saturday to get one from enterprise. They pretty much told me tough luck. I walked over to sales and told them the situation, they immediately found a brand new Jeep and gave it to me as a loaner (definitely would never buy a new Jeep lol)
Sales was decent — Smooth transaction, traded in our Vette for a Viper. I would’ve given this place 2 stars but service and Brandy after 3 weeks and having to call them daily for an update, giving me the run around and not covering what their «warranty» covers even though it was in black and white. The cat converters were plugged so bad the car couldn’t even be driven 3 days after getting it home from them, not covered. Cost me $ 2500 out of pocket just to get it drive-​able. Buying a used car i gotta expect a little problems here and there, but Autonation failed to stand behind their product. Called corporate to talk about this and went absolutely nowhere, good luck with that! The «auto nation warranty» they offer is totally bull! Because the technician listed certain items in the used car inspection that THEIR dealership performed, it was considered PRE-​EXISTING conditions! So when I bought the car, they wouldn’t repair it after three weeks of me owning it. VERY DISSATISFIED with corporate Autonation. Give corp autonation 0 Stars, Sales 2 stars, Service 0 stars. I wouldn’t do business with them if I had no other choice.

My newly purchased Jeep Wrangler seems to have excessive wind noise on the freeway. Before scheduling warranty service, the service technician suggested I drive another Wrangler to compare; and directed me to Sales.
After explaining the situation to a salesman, he asked if I intended to buy another Wrangler. Silly question… all I wanted to do was drive another Wrangler to compare wind noise.
The indignant salesman rolled his eyes and let me know he didn’t want to take me for me drive in another Wrangler because he would be losing a potential commission.
What a hassle… With attitudes like that, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I have had issues with this place since before I bought my car. Not only was buying my first car the biggest, and most stressful situation ever, but I later went to get maintenance on my car and was told that I could not see the warranty regulations. The only reason I’m giving it two stars was because they fixed my car under warranty and it was free.

Melvin and Chris in sales really treated me very well on my third vehicle purchased at the Seattle store. Good work my new 392 SRT is amazing!

I’m not here to write anything negative unless it’s deserving, and believe me, they’ve earned this. My wife, and I found a really good deal online for a 2013 Dodge Dart with 16k miles on it for $ 12.5K. Not too bad for a 2013 if you ask me. When my wife and I got there we were greeted nicely by Rob, who in all fairness, was the only bright spot. During the finance portion of the sale, they «found» a factory recall on the vehicle. Nothing crazy, but still. They set us up in a 2016 base model Dart for the inconvenience, while they supposedly were ordering parts for the factory recall. A week went by, and no communication on the availability of the vehicle. Another week goes by, and the same result. Finally at the end of the third week, I get a phone call from Rob with bad news. The service department ordered a different part for a different Dart, which surprise, had a factory recall. It conversation was pretty much was we’re sorry for the the inconvenience. We want our car back, and you’re more than welcome to look through our inventory or get your down payment back. Which by the way we’ve already cashed.
The entire experience wasn’t great. When you see this on their website «Our sales team makes sure you know what you need to know about each used Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and helps you to select the right one for your preferences» you’re expecting something streamlined, not everyone all over the map. They certainly told my and I what we needed to know, but didn’t tell us the whole story. It’s either they knew, or they we’re completely clueless on the vehicles they’re selling. Either way, they virtually gave my wife and I under 24 hours to find a new deal, on top of giving us a huge hassle of getting our deposit back.
I would avoid this dealership altogether. There are decent people working there, but it’s not worth the time or energy doing business with this business.

Outstanding support and what a GREAT team AutoNation has… Thank you SO much for working with my wife and I as we had so many issues with our last vehicle and we are so happy with our new Grand Cherokee that we have forgotten about the other vehicle… lol

Great guys, I wish I could’ve made a deal. Knowledge about their vehicles, had a great test drive. Was all ready to buy the vehicle but no deal. Few problems and why I won’t be buying a vehicle here and neither should you:
1. Quoted the Internet price after I came into the dealer and spent time driving and they didn’t want to budge. When I wasn’t too interested in that quote, which I could’ve just seen online they suggested lengthening my loan. People: that doesn’t save you money, you’re not getting any extra discount, it’s just a way to make you think you are.
2. Came back the following day with full intentions of buying the car assuming I’d get a better quite. Brought in the
report which gave a quote $ 2500 less then my quote! Basically said true car was bs and they won’t match it.
3. Indicated the the USAA incentive from the true car report was didn’t exist. They also aren’t USAA certified dealer (which isn’t a requirement for the rebate)
I’ve purchased numerous vehicles and used the USAA incentive many times so yes, yes is does exist
4. Don’t pay more for a vehicle than is it worth. That’s the point of true car. It shows the true market value and includes incentives you are eligible for. This was a previous years model so the value of the vehicle has continued to drop which is explained by the true car report.
5. Advice: take your business to a true car and USAA certified dealer. This will ensure you not only pay a fair price on your new car but also have assurance from usaa that your service will be superb as well

I’d just like to point out that AutoNation provided, hands down, the single best experience of my car-​buying life.
I am the type that does homework, researches and test drives cars long before I am ready to make a purchasing decision. I’ve had your typical (shitty /​mediocre-​at-​best) experience at almost ALL other dealerships in the greater Seattle area. AKA inexperienced /​unknowledgeable associates, high pressure, inflexible, the whole nine yards.
The experience I received by my friends Kasra, Youcef, Hal, and Ali (Finance MGR) has certainly created a lifelong customer. They have a straight forward approach and if the many honors, medals, and plaques that adorn all of their work spaces don’t speak loud enough, ask them a question. They asked great questions on things that I truly wanted out of my vehicle, which allowed them to show me exactly what I wanted, weird concept, right?
Being in sales myself, I can appreciate the art and although it is definitely a sales environment, it is a comfortable one. They called me by my name, they shook my hand, no bull-​shit, no fluff. The entire process from start to finish was a matter of a few emails and about an hour in the shop.
I look forward to many more years of working with their ridiculously knowledgable staff! Thanks again all, I am a happy customer!

This place is the worst!!!
Why I hate this place:
1) Bought my jeep certified pre-​owned and a week later came out to find a boot on the tire. They did not process the paper work and the previous owner had too many tickets. I had to skip work, take a cab downtown, bring my paperwork into the department of licensing to prove it was mine and wait 24 hours for the boot to be removed.
2) 2 weeks after I bought it that new car smell faded and smelt like a mixture of wet dog a rotten milk
3) The roof, frame and back gate leak water. Even though I bought it certified pre-​owned with every warrantee, which they charged me 5000 for, they said it’s not covered. OK fine. I brought it in to get fixed. They took two weeks, charged me $ 400. Come first rain, it leaks worse so I took it in again. They denied that it leaks. Now driving in Seattle is like having a constant rain cloud over my head since the roof leaks on me.
4) When I got it back from the shop, they forgot to latch the hood. Thankfully I caught it and shut it before getting on the freeway and having the hood pop open at 60mph
I had intended to drive this jeep for many many years.
Now I’m forced to ride around this stinky leaky soaking wet jeep or sell it at a huge loss.
WARNING: Go anywhere else if you don’t want a lemon
EDIT: Someone reached out to me and requested I talk to the general manager. He apologized and suggested I bring it in again. I did. Same story. They assured me they fixed the leak but come first rain the water is dripping on me. So 3 trips, $ 400, and many bus rides to work later, the leak has not been fixed.

I went in with a simple water leak and left wanting to blow my brains out due to the poor attitude & communication, and complete lack of accountability and ethical practices in the service department. I come to the dealership brand where I purchased my vehicle because common sense would reason that they would be best qualified to answer any questions or concerns I may have about my Jeep product.
Sadly, this is not so. And this experience has affected my willingness to do business with this dealership and quite possibly, any others.
I had one water leak previously and it was fixed at this location, under warranty with no problem. But 3,000 miles later, the opposite side door seal started leaking in the exact same spot. When I called about getting it looked at I realized that I was now about 3,000 miles outside the warranty period. But Brandy told me to bring my Jeep Wrangler in for inspection of the water leak for a possible good-​will warranty replacement. I asked how much I could expect to pay should the repair NOT be covered under warranty. She quoted me $ 130 for the part and $ 70 for a ½-​hour of labor with an estimate not to exceed $ 200.
When I arrived, I got the run-​around. No only were they not able to look at it until 5 hours after my appointment, but she explicitly DENIED quoting me a price. When I recounted our phone conversation days earlier, she denied everything and became belligerent, going on a personal attack accusing me of lying about how many miles I had put on the car in the past month (not sure what that had to do with getting my car repaired, but nonetheless, I was being called a liar.) She then resorted to treating me like a moron «You know, you ARE driving a car with a removable top in SEATTLE after all…»
Then they proceeded with the inspection.
After waiting at the dealership for 7 hours, I finally walked out to check on my vehicle. «Oh…our system is down, so I can’t look up the part you need.» I had been waiting FOR HOURS and no one had the courtesy to walk back and let me know that I was waiting in vain. I was told that they could not locate the part, price, or give me an answer on the status of my good-​will warranty until the system was back up. Brandy agreed to call me the next day to let me know the status of my good-​will warranty.
She did not call.
I did call another Jeep dealership in the King County area to ask about the service outage that prevented the staff in SEATTLE from looking up parts. She confirmed that the system WAS down, but that their service department did not come to a standstill as a result of it. Their service department continued to locate, price, and install parts despite facing the same challenges as AUTONATION CHRYSLER JEEP RAM of SEATTLE.
I didn’t mind if I had to pay for this repair as I never brought up a warranty claim (since I knew I was over the warranty mileage) Brandy brought up the idea of a warranty. What upset me is the flippant attitude of Brandy and the staff at SEATTLE AUTONATION and their complete disregard for my time.
I left 2 messages for service manager SCOTT RANDALL to discuss how I was treated by his employee. Evidently, he is not interested in following up with unsatisfied customers.
I will never return to this location and will encourage others to seek alternate service centers as well.

Service review! WOW I’ve heard horror stories of Jeep service departments but this place is AMAZING they treat me so well and really go the extra mile. So far everything has been covered under warranty and any other issues I have they fix for me. Even when I don’t ask for something they do it **I DO WISH THEY WOULD WASH/​VACUUM MY CAR** other than that I can’t complain one bit.

Waited 1.5 weeks for a service appointment for my truck which was leaking coolant. Turns out I needed a new radiator. The pressure test, radiator replacement, and coolant flush was going to cost me around $ 1,200. Without tax, it was $ 125 for the pressure test, $ 149.95 for the coolant flush, $ 810 for the radiator replacement. I was floored by this estimate and decided to do the work myself.
Was curious and called a local shop near me (Superior Auto Service) and they did the same exact work for only $ 530. I get that I am paying a premium since it is the dealership, but almost 3x the price??? Come on man!
Polite customer service gets them 1 extra star.

–The place itself looks outdated and unwelcoming.
–Sales person is rude.
–Waited for 40 mins until they gave me a quote on the trade in value, and of course it is 30% lower than what kbb said.

While AutoNation’s selection is sizable and pricing is competitive, an unfortunately poor customer experience has made me think twice about doing business with them.
In early December, I inquired about the availability of two vehicles through their website. A representative from AutoNation contacted me via email within 24 hours of my request (which was faster than I had expected) asking how they could be of assistance.
After a few back-&-forth emails to clarify a few key pieces of information (after I requested additional info about the cars, pricing and inspection history), I was able to get two quotes sent over roughly within 72 hours of my initial email (no inspection history was provided though).
On Day 4 of the process, the representative proactively emailed me, in an effort to help «ease» the process of making a purchasing decision. At that point, I had pretty much made up my mind about which of the two vehicles I was interested in, but upon running a CarFax report on the vehicle, I found that it had been involved in accident roughly one month before coming into AutoNation’s possession.
On Day 5, I replied back to the representative’s proactive email asking for specifics on what damage the car had sustained in that accident (since the CarFax details were very generic and vague). I received no response back. A week later, I emailed again (figuring they just needed more time to get the requested information). It wasn’t until I went to look the car up on their website the next day that I realized that it was no longer listed. Two hours after I had looked it up, I received a reply from the representative stating that the vehicle had been sold.
While I’ll admit that I could have been more aggressive in trying to get a response from the representative, the greater concern (which will impact my decision to do business with AutoNation in the future) is that my Day 5 email was purposely ignored (just as my request for inspection history was) as it may have uncovered potentially costly repairs or faults with the vehicle. For the sake of the car’s new owner, I hope that that wasn’t the case.
For me, the lack of follow-​up on my Day 5 email has really soured me on wanting to purchase a car through AutoNation. If I’m not able to get (what I would consider) important information about a vehicle, I have no confidence that the vehicle (and fleet) are being represented truthfully and that a dealership is doing all it can to ensure that those automobiles are safe to drive.
I may give them another chance down the road, but it will be with great hesitation.

I must say how pleased I am with the crafty workmanship these fine folks used to get me to pay for the type of work performed on my big ugly truck.
It was nothing but a pleasure to work me and my crew like dogs so that I could finally drive home leaving a trail of smoke on the freeway and nearly seizing the rear end of my truck because it was all over tightened for my satisfaction.
Then to return the next day to have the happy smiling person reassure me that all I need to do is leave off the key and someone could look at it Monday and I could reschedule my workload again.
It only cost me the price of a new car or truck (over $ 12.000) for this kind of satisfaction.
If you are just a regular guy tired of paying for faulty repairs at other repair shops and want to get a quality thing to gripe about just work extra hard and bring all your savings.
Most of the work was well done just not all of it, I certainly can not safely drive my truck on the roadway, now I can put on my raingear and attempt to do it myself.

I just bought my second new car here and it was a great experience. We told the salesman what we wanted in a car and what we wanted to pay. Right away he had the right car for us and at less than we had said we were willing to pay. After deciding that this was the car it was super easy to go through the paper work and financing with them. There was no ridiculous under valuing of our trade in just an easy transaction.
We’re we shown how the Jeeps systems all worked and had all of our questions answered before we left. They even paired my phone to the car for me!

This review is strictly based off of their Service department. I failed my emissions test, and needed to get it repaired in order to get new car tabs. I called in to make an appointment, and made a morning appointment later that week (requiring me to take time off work). I went in at my scheduled time, and went through initial paperwork before my service guy looked up and said, «hold on a sec» and left. He came back 5 minutes later and told me the guy who does emission repairs was not in and wouldn’t be back until Thursday (it was Monday). So I made another morning appointment for first-​thing Thursday. There was no apology or concern shown at all. If anything, the guy thought it was ironic/​funny that I was scheduled by the phone operator for an appointment when the guy was scheduled to be out for the day. I think it was the lack of concern that bothered me most.
I decided to take my business elsewhere, and when I called to cancel my appointment the woman on the phone had no record of me being scheduled for an appointment. I guess it was a good thing that I cancelled and didn’t make the trek back into the shop only to find that I wasn’t on the schedule. Needless to say, I will never be taking my business here (even though I am a Jeep owner). A complete waste of time.

This review is in regards to my purchase experience of a second hand Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk at AutoNation. At this point I can’t comment about the services department, but will return to update after any future service encounters.
I have recently moved to Seattle from Australia, and as you can imagine all my experience with American car dealerships was from what I had seen in Movies. Picture, Simon the used cars salesman in the movie True Lies, and that is what I expecting!
But this was not the case at all, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sales staff at AutoNation. I was incredibly time poor due to work commitments, so I spent my time first researching online. I initially contacted AutoNation via Email and was put in contact with Rob Christman (Internet Sales). Rob was very prompt with responses, and with the details that I requested and we agreed upon a time, for myself to head on in for a test drive.
Unfortunately, Rob was unavailable for the test drive, so I went with Jeff. Let’s face it, test drives can sometimes be a bore. You drive around the block and listen to a whole bunch of ‘pre sales’, again — Simon in True Lies. This definitely wasn’t the case here, it was fun! From the cruise down the highway to test the adaptive cruise control to the semi-​off-​road trial behind the ski shop, which was a such a great way to get the real feel for the car. Especially one you are considering to take on long trips that include off-​roading.
The final negotiation was conducted with Rob via Email, as again I couldn’t get time off work to do this face-​to-​face. Rob was responsive and open throughout the negotiation, which allowed us to reach a great deal quickly and respectfully. Back in the dealership for all the paperwork was relaxing and a friendly experience. Best of all no hidden surprises!
A week after purchase Rob was in contact with me to see how everything was going, and to offer his services if there was anything I needed in regards to the Trailhawk. This was a welcomed and unexpected end to the overall process of purchasing the Trailhawk at AutoNation.
Overall I am a happy camper, with a new Trailhawk — and would recommend AutoNation if you’re in the market for a new /​used Jeep.

I am slightly on the fence about a few things with AutoNation. However, I will start with the positive. The salesman and staff (not the service department) here are AMAZING! They were incredibly friendly, made me feel like I was a priority and not just in that they wanted my money. I never once felt like I was being lied to or haggled. I felt they truly tried everything they could to make sure I was happy and comfortable. I have been back a few times and it was always the same friendly feeling even though they had already sold me a car. Jaye is the best! I have been to several car dealerships before and had to threaten to call management because of how much they were haggling me and calling me non stop. It is not like that here at all!
I was at the dealership for over 4 hours, because they were trying to help me figure out my financial situation and poor credit. I knew exactly what I wanted and chose to buy a 15′ Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. It was the only one on the lot, which was disappointing, other locations had a better stock (but they harassed me so much right off the bat, and continue too that I refused to buy from a different location) however, I was really happy with this car and so I bought it. I had test drove a different model Renegade that day and loved it. I did not do a super intense look through of the Renegade that I purchased. I did a once over, I was thinking, it’s a brand new car, what could possibly be wrong with it? It had a nail in one of the tires which I noticed right away and they noted it and have since fixed it no problem. My biggest problem was the inside of my BRAND NEW car was totally dirty! There were foot prints EVERYWHERE! The back of the front and passenger seats looked like absolute sh*t! The door jams were completely filthy as well. When I returned to get the nail removed I asked them if the car was used because it was so dirty! They assured me it was not and said they would detail my car free of charge. When I think of a detail, I think and expect a full cleaning of every single crevice of the car inside and out. However when they gave me my car back all that had been done was they sprinkled water on it. The inside of my car had not been touched accept putting a foot mat down by the petals. I still cannot believe a dealership detail would be so lacking. Its crazy.
I have since contacted management about this and was told they would handle it.
I have yet to hear back from anyone.
