If I could give it no stars I would. My employee doesn’t speak good English and have an apartment there. They recently changed management and everything went south. He wanted to get another key for his wife and they told him it would cost 40 dollars to add her. When he came to the office to drop off the check another employee told him it’s now 120 dollars. She came back with 120 dollars and she said he cannot take the key. Later they sent him a letter that they penalty him 100 dollars for every month she wasn’t on the lease. They are Crookes, liars and thieves. I would not recommend anyone to step a foot in this building. Beware

Thuy is one of the rudest people I have come across. They accuse you of things you have never done. I have lived here for a while and it seems like they have went through so many different managers. They don’t keep the apartments up and the rent is really expensive. Do NOT rent from here. There are many other places that are less expensive with friendlier staff.

Do not rent from this place! Cheaply constructed and definitely not worth the money.
The only good thing about this place is the staff.
But the biggest issue besides the price is that there is always banging coming from the second floor or so, that shook my whole apartment. It would happen during the day and go through till past 4:00 am. And never seemed to stop. One of many reasons why I left.
Also didn’t realize how bad the location was until it was to late. Loud street noise plus really sketchy when the mall closes. Lots of questionable people at night.
So happy my lease is up

I love the location, management, maintenance crew, and the size of the apartment. Amenities are pretty good, too. One of the only downsides is that there’s a gym underneath my apartment, and while it is quite convenient for nearby residents, it’s kept me up at night more times than I can count. You live on top of a gym that’s open 24/​7, every single day. I’m having some trouble staying asleep as I hear the noise of the weights hit the ground at all times of the day. funny — I was told by one of the former leasing agents that I wouldn’t hear this noise, and wow, was he mistaken.
And if the noise from the gym isn’t enough to wake you, don’t fret, as there are always emergency vehicles passing by with their sirens at full blast. It’s also hard to forget the noise from your own neighbors walking around the unit above you. When a neighbor above you is walking around their apartment in the middle of the night, it sounds like your apartment is falling apart!
God forbid you suspect you have bed bugs — the moment you bring up the topic, they’ll force you to pay up for one of their contracted inspectors to bring in a dog to sniff your apartment! Seriously. a dog? They found nothing, by the way. Guess who had to pay the bill. Yep, I did.
I was told the previous tenant broke his lease and left in a hurry. Maybe he couldn’t take the noise anymore. who knows. But I’m starting to think I may have to ditch this apartment as well. If you’re considering moving here, do yourself a favor and make sure you don’t live right on top of the gym or next to Northgate Way. Thankfully, Lynn has been great and will be happy to help answer any questions or concerns.
The price is somewhat decent for the area and is the main reason why I chose to live at 507. In hindsight, I would have probably chosen to live at the sister property next door even if it meant paying more. Do your research and ask a bunch of questions so you can make sure you get the right apartment should you choose to live at 507.

I tried to make an appointment with the assistant manager to come look at the apartment, maybe see some available apartments. I tried to do it on Sunday and the website said their office was open. I figured that if I emailed them Thursday, they would get back to me by Sunday morning, but I got nothing. I decided to go anyways even though I currently live almost 45 minutes away. The parking was confusing and the signs were unhelpful.
And then, lo and behold, they were closed due to short staff. Really. It said that right on the paper they taped up.
Oh well, there are plenty of cheaper apartments in Seattle.

Fantastic office… Lynn went out of her way to make sure a new tenant from a different country was walked through the whole process including where to get his shipped packages when they come in … Great service thanks Lynn !!

Management is not friendly. I had an appt with Alana and while I was here inquiring about the floor plans, nobody answered the door right away when they see you standing outside the office door, nobody greets you with a smile or seem eager to accommodate you and give you information about the place. Alana finally smiled when we were leaving (surprise). Also, when you speak to one of them on the phone, they seem disinterested and tired of speaking with you. Or at least that’s how I felt. And when reading some of the reviews, I felt the same way and I don’t even live here. It’s all a first impression for me. The prices here are ok and the amenities are ok. You’re going to end up using the amenities outside the building more than what you pay for so why bother investing in one of the rooms in this building when there’s plenty others near by that also have a better management team. A place that feels like home to me is important so I’m glad I did not decide to move here.

I moved here earlier this month, and I started buying a few items for the apartment. All packages go to the building management office which is great, because it’s secure. The office hours are 6pm on weekdays, and I usually don’t get home until after office hours. The 3x that I’ve had packages, I’ve showed up at around 6:30, and Josh has been there. The office lights are off, and he’s winding down his day, but he gladly helps me process the shipment and gets me on my way with my package in hand and a smile. The service level here is better than I expected. Josh deserves a raise for his commitment to his work!

I do not recommend this apartment complex.

I wish there were negative ratings here. Please, if you consider moving into this apartment, think again. You have no idea what you are getting yourself into.
I can’t believe this happened at this property. I thought this apartment was one of the nicest ones around the Northgate mall, and that’s why I went to check it out.
I tried to call the leasing office at the entrance, but no one answered it. When a resident (a nice old lady) walked out form the apartment, we told her we are trying to reach the leasing office, and it was quite windy outside, so we went into the building.
When my husband and I walked into the office, there were two ladies talking, and they looked at us, and said, «hello? how did you guys get into this building?»
We explained that we tried to reach the office and couldn’t get ahold of anyone, and one of the ladies (it was her last at work) said, «yeah, I saw the phone ring, but we didn’t answer, because it’s my last day at work, we need to finish some works.»
My husband and I were like, «oh… okay…» then, she said, «by the way, this property is appointment only, well, we sometimes take walk-​ins too, and this is my last day. Literally I have 10 minutes until I get out, so we really need to talk right now, but if you guys can come back in an hour, we can show you the model.» She wrote down my contact info. We knew that it was not «appointment only,» and she even said she «sometimes» takes walk-​ins.
So, we came back after an hour. We were stuck in the traffic, so we were 15 mins late.
We called the leasing office at the entrance again, and this chick answered, «you guys are 15 minutes late, so I’m gonna do a quick tour.»
We couldn’t believe that how rude she was on the phone, and there were some other residents around us who were about walk into the building. It was so embarrassing and upsetting, but we just went into the building. and I said, «by the way, what did you say about 15 minutes?» and she said, «I said, you guys are 15 minutes late, and there is someone else coming in in 10 minutes, so I’m gonna do a quick tour.»
I was really upset that she was being very rude and unprofessional, so I said,
«yeah, but you could have told us inside the office, not like that on the phone.»
then she goes, «well, I apologize, but you need to change your attitude if you wanna see this property.»
So I said, «So do you!»
This stupid chick (this hispanic chick’s name is Elena) said, «you need leave my office right now, bye.»
I couldn’t believe she treated us like a s — . So I said, «wow… you are a b — -…»
then she said, «you guys need to f— off!» then she gave us a middle finger.
My husband was so upset that he was going to say something to her, but this Hawaiian maintenance guy said, «you guys leave the office, right now.»
He was so intimidating and unprofessional, and so was her.
and as we were on the way out, she said f words several times
I can’t believe how they manage the staff here. They are the most uneducated, unprofessional, stupidest leasing staff I’ve ever seen my life. Your job is to rent out the property and make sure if the residents are happy, not putting dust on your owner’s name.
I really hope something can be done about this issue. Just remember, if you want the job, then you do your work, if not, you should be shown the door.
And you don’t tell the customers to f— off.

Great value, great staff, great location!
I lived at 507 for 12 months living on my own for the first time. I chose this location because it was central to people in my life and had great walking access to several key facilities (24 hour fitness, Northgate mall, Target, QFC, etc.). Probably the only issue with the location is that it can occasionally be challenging getting in and out of the driveway due to the number businesses in the area. Now that the 525 construction is done and the paving is complete, it’s probably a lot better.
The prices are extremely competitive if you’re looking for a clean building with a washer/​dryer in unit. I went for a 1^st floor open one bedroom, which still cost about $ 100/​month less than a studio in Wallingford and you get an extra 200 sq ft. I paid the extra $ 30/​month for the secured parking, which was mostly worth it for parking availability, since many people parked on or over the line in the small spots.
The amenities were sufficient for what I needed. Coming from mostly renting rooms in a house, it was nice to have a gym (no matter how small it was and rarely had anyone else using it) and a common area.
Management was friendly and helpful when I needed them (which wasn’t very often). They weren’t super high-​tech (no online pay), but an online portal was available for questions, service requests and amenity reservations.
The move in/​move out process was flawless, granted I didn’t require much help. The cleaning fees at move out seemed reasonable.
Given that the complex was primarily populated by 20-​somethings, probably going to college, there we re a fair amount of parties. I faced the courtyard and occasionally could hear people in the common area (or maybe in their apartments), but nothing bad enough where I needed to call management. On a somewhat unrelated note, other renters wore an insane amount of cologne and the scent seemed to get trapped in the elevators. The elevators aren’t the fastest, so you can imagine how charming this is.
Overall, a great experience. I likely would have stayed for a couple more years if I didn’t require a bigger space (for more people).
