Starbucks

Always surprised by the mix of experiences at Starbucks. Stopped by there to get coffee. Drive-​thru was a bit backed up so decided to swing by the lobby. I never understand why it needs to take so long to get a cup of coffee at Starbucks. I saw at least 6 people working, all servicing what appeared to be the drive thru. There were three people in line behind me. Got one «I’ll be right with you» from someone zooming by, and a few minutes later I was finally being helped by a different and rather unfriendly barista. Ordered basic Venti Coffee with room for cream. Once again a cup filled to the brim with no room for cream. Poured out what I didn’t want in the trash bin. Perhaps I am going to the wrong Starbucks’ locations, but I yet have to experience this amazing service I keep hearing about. Perhaps I expect too much, and I don’t really know why I keep going back to Starbucks and receive mediocre service, mediocre coffee in places that most of the time could use a good wipe down. Oh well.

I stopped at this Starbucks for the first time this morning before my appt I had in the same complex. I ordered my drink on the mobile app prior to arriving, like I always do for Starbucks. I arrived and my drink was not ready… My arrival time was longer than the suggested time my drink should be ready. Usually I would not mind but remember I am on my way to my appointment and this was intended to be a quick stop. I waited for my drink for at least 5 mins until I asked the barista if they had a mobile order for me, then which my drink had been sitting behind the counter already made, ready togo and waiting. Now I am not happy my drink has been ready but not put where I could pick it up and now I am late for my appointment which resulted me having to wait an extra 45 minutes to get in, no I’m not happy at all. The staff was not rude or kind towards me, they did not apologize for not having my drink in the pickup area either. I go to Starbucks almost everyday and this is the first time it has become an inconvenience especially with my mobile order. it’s safe to say I definitely will not be going to this location again.

Glad Starbucks is already starting their holiday menu even though it’s not even Thanksgiving!
So to warm things up, it’s going to be a triple espresso with a dash of sugar and a slight dash of cream, not to much otherwise one will wind up with a strong cup of coffee.
They had their Kenyan blend which I think makes an awesome espresso!
This is my regular Starbucks, so the people are always friendly, service tries to be quick but when you have 30 beverages to make in 3 minutes there might be a slight delay.
Decided to take a few photos of the new Starbucks art work that is popping up in the stores. Adds a bit to the décor don’t you think?

Sadly I’m a bit of a Starbucks fiend, especially for this location due to its close proximity to my job. Morning traffic when I come to the drive thru is normally a bit crazy or absolutely dead. The few times I’ve had to go inside due to an insane car line, the employees are super quick to get my order complete.
Speaking of, the employees are nothing but kind. Every time I’ve visited, I’m always asked how I’m doing/​greeted good morning. A pleasant conversation + a smile + some AM caffeine is a great way to start my day.

So I have a soar throat right now not the end of the world. Kinda bums me out that the one time I actually try to give star bucks a try the employees closed it more than a half hour early and just turned off the lights as I walked up to the door.

This Starbucks is my favorite. The drive thru moves fast. They give great drink recommendations when you have a sore throat. The people are pleasant.

The people there are great, and the drinks are never a disappointment! I like to go in there when I have some money to spare. The atmosphere/​ambiance is lovely.

OK, a Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks but this is MY «home» Starbucks so I feel like I should review it.
I roll through here 3 or 4 times a week on my way into work and the staff is always friendly and fast. Add in the fact they have a drive thru and I am always happily caffeinated while never being late for work. Win, win.

Even though I live closer to the FLW/​101 location I often find myself going through this drive through instead because it’s that’s much better. Rarely have more than 3 cars in front of me and most time there is no wait. My order always been correct which I can’t say the same for some of the other locations.
Occasionally I decide to get out of my car and go inside. It’s a newer Starbucks so it has the clean, minimalist lay out.
–1 star because of Starbucks being in love with Monsanto.

Awesome customer service, I go to this location specifically for the great employees

Sitting in your car and hitting the drive-​thru is soooo west coast. And, I love it!
This is one of the first drive-​thrus in the area for the Green Mermaid. Surprisingly, there’s a new «Pot Bellies» sandwich place going in right next door. Hmmm, might need to leave my car for that one. LOL
Last night I received from Starbucks Galactic Command in SODO, a Member’s Reward coupon for 50% off my next espresso beverage using Code 354. Nice timing I thought. Drove by here around 9 this morning and there was six cars in front of me. It took less than five minutes for me to get to the front of the line, get my drink and pay. A Tip of the Hat as Colbert would say to the very fast baristas!
Simple, fast and easy.

Awesome new location! The baristas are friendly and knowledgable and the drinks are what you expect from a Starbucks. There is also a good amount of indoor seating and free wifi
