I’ve never bothered to review a Starbucks before, because really, a Starbucks is a Starbucks. This one, though, is just mediocre. I frequented this location during my final semester of grad school, and just couldn’t love it. The good and the bad: + Employees are nice enough. + Order was always correct + Has a bathroom(I live in the city where this isn’t a given). + Drive thru + Clean — Seating is pretty limited if you’re just one person. They have plenty of 4 person tables that were often occupied by a single person, or larger group seating that is uncomfortable tight. — Shades aren’t pulled during peak sun blaring down on you hours. — If you want a brewed decaf, Blonde roast, or Christmas roast after Noon you’re SOL. Call me crazy, but a coffee shop that can only serve one kind of coffee(Pike) during regular business hours… is ludicrous. If you’re a morning rush drive-througher or a nighttime latte drinker, nothing wrong with this place. If you like to camp out or drink a plain old cup of non-crappy coffee after lunch time, try somewhere else.

Maybe I’m a Grinch, but this Starbucks is just ok. Good news: –They get my order right every time –They have a drive thru –The drive thru employees are generally friendly and chipper –The interior is sparkling clean The meh news: –Seating inside is super tight and it was very, very busy at 9am on a random Tuesday –If you’re like me and you have to resort to sitting at the espresso bar, it’s not only uncomfortably close to others but it’s loud as hell. –Outside seating is a nice option when it’s warmer but there are only two or three tables. With so many Starbucks in the area, this one falls squarely in the middle.

I’m not rating any restaurant a 5. It has to be just awesome to get a 5. I’m a tuff grader even if it’s Starbucks. So sue me. That said, this Starbucks is now like the 6th Starbucks in Schaumburg, I think(there’s two in Woodfield mall, one on Higgins in the building shared with Verizon, one on Golf Road just around the corner across Woodfield Mall, and one large one next to Chipotle in Streets of Woodfield shopping complex). I can’t imagine that the Schaumburg Village Trustees felt that Schaumburg needed like a 6th Starbucks. Like, really? At any rate, this particular location is nice, smaller, quaint(as quaint as Starbucks can go, anyway), with plenty of high chairs and tables. Not that small, but definitely not large. So yeah, it’s a small Starbucks coffee shop. My bill for a skinny mocha made with almond milk and coconut water was $ 10. WTF. I’m not cheap. I make six figures and am in finance. I just don’t see the value in Starbucks. I’ll do Panera instead for hazelnut coffee and an egg white($ 4). But it’s a nicer, quieter Starbucks, tucked away off of Meacham Road and American Lane. If you like Starbucks and a quiet place to think, this is a good one.

Nice staff. Ridiculous they run out of sandwiches at 9am. Plan better especially for being a new business. And then an employee requests a disgusting alternative. Service is fast though. Saw a manager snap at an employee. Uncalled for in my opinion.

Standard Starbucks in terms of food and drinks. The one thing that really shines at this location is the level of customer service and the speed at which they take care of their customers. I have only done the drive-thru but the team has always been quick and efficient, and always with a warm smile! Keep up the great work!

This brand new Starbucks is a wonderful addition to the Schaumburg area(especially because it’s across the street from work)! It is decent in size, with a very classy style. They have lots of tables/chairs(in varying heights and lengths), making it easy to sit and hang out, work, study, or catch up with a friend. Unlike other Starbucks in the area though, no couches or comfy chairs at this particular location. But overall, the ambiance is what I like about this place. I typically roll in around 6:30/7am, and because it’s still fairly new, my order is always quick and accurate. Thanks Valerie! The rest of the staff is great here too. All in all, an excellent place to have coffee, relax, or get work done. **They have Drive-Thru and outdoor seating!**

It’s a fancy new Starbucks in Schaumburg! This may be the 5th SBux is STown but this location has it’s benefits. It’s in a brand new little shopping area off of Meachem right amidst all the corporate offices. +This location has a drive thru! +Because it’s new and no one knows of this location yet, there is NOONE there! Yes, that’s right. I went through the drive thru at 7am with no line, no wait, and saw no one inside either. This won’t last long but for now it’s a lovely benefit. +They have a fancy schmancy order board that is all digitalized in the drive thru. +Everything is brand spankin’ new inside so it’s all nice and clean. +They have all the usual drink options plus the hot menu items and a selection of other things, as well. +They open at 4:30am each day! That’s a bit earlier than other locations. Daily hours are 4:30am-10pm except on Friday & Saturday when they are open until 11pm. This location is extremely convenient to my company so a few of us have already hit it up in the morning. Sure, sure, there are Starbucks on every block but I’m pretty pleased with this location.
