No consistency in the way the drinks are made. This is so unfortunate because when they’re made correctly, they’re amazing and when they’re wrong, they taste like soap. I’ll only order if I recognize a certain employee who has made them correctly in the past. Under new management and it’s awesome. Drinks are consistent. I’m happy to see one of the guys still working there because he’s super kind and always makes a good drink. Told the new manager I worked in the mall and she recommended getting the app to order ahead of time on my breaks and that she’d love to connect on events.

Good alternative to the Seattle coffee monopoly! Little kiosk in the mall with teapots at the front. Seating area which is a plus. Tasty pomegranate tea but a little pricey.

The nice looking kiosk with tea pots displayed in the front caught my attention. I don’t live in the area, I have never been to an Argo Tea before. I decided to get the hot chai and unfortunately it was very very sweet. It felt like they were trying to mask the spices in the chai with sugar. not sure how the other tea’s are, but i am willing to give Argo another try with very less sugar next time. If you are having tea here for the first time, you might want to go easy on the sugar and add more later if you like.

I love this place! I never had Argo Tea before where I am from, so it was a great first experience for me. For those who have not been to this place before, it is like Starbucks for tea. They mixed strong brewed tea with other drinks(like milk, etc). I had their earl grey tea drink, and it was delicious! I don’t even like tea. I’m looking forward to coming back for sure!

I’m a coffee guy, so I pass this place to get a cup of Dunkin or Starbucks instead. Last week I finally had a chance to grab a tea before a meeting. I had the hot Chai Tea, and let me tell you, it is possibly the best I’ve ever had. I don’t drink tea often, but if I do, it’s at a Chinese restaurant or it’s a Chai. The Chai at Starbucks or Caribou is spicy(as all Chais should be), but the problem is, the spice lingers on your tongue for a long time. It makes enjoying the drink difficult. I find it makes me want to take my time between sips. Here at Argo, the Chai is spicy, but the heat doesn’t linger, so as soon as you’ve swallowed, you’re ready for another sip! The service was quick, yet patient and friendly. The seating is in the open mall space, which forces louder conversation, but it’s nice for people watching and there’s usually open tables throughout the day. Haven’t tried other teas yet, or the array of pastries and sandwiches, but I’ll be back, so maybe I’ll leave a tip about it soon.

I dig Argo Tea. The few times I have been to this kiosk, it seems like the staffing/operation is a bit off — long wait times and such. But overall, if you want to pick up some good loose tea and get a break from Teavana, it’s a solid choice.

You don’t have to go to Starbucks or Teavana! You can go here! In the center of the mall they have a large kiosk selling tea brewed for you and hot and cold tea drinks. They also sell tea to take home. There are always two on brew to sample for free. There is a nice seating area nearby. They easily have as many drink options as a coffee house. If you aren’t familiar with this chain, check their website. I like their tea lattes. Sometimes the service here can get a bit slow, as the staff thoughtfully answer the questions of the people in front of you in line. Let’s face it, Americans are not tea drinkers. There’s a lot of question asking here. And tea takes a while to brew. If you stop here in a hurry, that could be a mistake. Relax and enjoy your break at Woodfield!

I’ve been to this place a few times and honestly, it’s a toss up. A few years back when I was in the city I went to Argo with a friend, I immediately fell in love with the warm atmosphere, wonderfully polite staff, and my favorite drink, the Hibiscus Tea Sangria. I went to any Argo I could when I was downtown, buying not only cold drinks but loose tea to brew at home. I was excited when I saw one was coming to Woodfield, as this is only a 15 minute drive from my house. The first time I went to this one I would give 6 out of 5 stars. The service was great, and Jeff(the manager) who was serving the tea samples helped me pick out a new to drink try, as I had yet to stray from my Tea Sangria. I got the White Tea Acai Squeeze, not a huge fan of all the seeds, but it was a good drink none the less. The second time I went, there were two girls behind the counter talking and cleaning up. They both looked over at me but neither bothered to greet me or come over to help me, despite me being the only customer. After a few minutes of waiting, one came over and helped me. Quick service, but when I received me Acai Squeeze, it was awful. I was well aware of the seeds, but this was like drinking a whole cup of seeds with a splash of tea. My third time there the sevice was as good as it was the first(Jeff served me again), but they were out of the Hibiscus Tea, so I couldn’t order the Sangria. I settled for trying the PomTea, which was just okay as I’m not the biggest fan of red tea. They don’t have drink holders, so I had to stumble out of the mall attempting to carry three drinks. Overall I have to say the inconsistency is disappointing. I only bother to go there if I see Jeff, if not I just breeze right past.

This place is a great addition to woodfield mall. The only other place I have tried this was at Chicago O’hare Airport. It makes a nice addition to the mall.

I was greeted by a barista who helped guide me through the ordering process. She recommended the Earl Grey Vanilla Crème, and I am glad that she did because it was amazing! In addition, the service was quick and the ambiance very pleasant even in the midst of the Christmas shopping season! Plus I love how they lay out all of the teapots in front so that you can see the different colors of each and every tea. And for those who are lactose intolerant among us(including me :/), Argo offers both Soy and Almond Milk. Great for us. What a great new addition to Woodfield Mall!
