Hands down the best biriyani in Chicago. this is not a sit-down restaurant, to-go is the way to do it.

Overpriced. Horrible customer service. Im not expecting to be treated like the queen of England, but come the fuck on. In that area, there are much better places to go where they actually WANT your business.

Good food. Not so great ambience for dine in but really tasty food. I will recommend to friends and come back again. I may prefer togo next time rather than dine in. The falafel was terrible, I suggest sticking with meat items. We got chicken kabob and boti it was the best we had in recent years. They happened to make fresh mirchi pakora when we there, so we bought couple, it was too good. Mouth watering! Their weekday lunch special is best value$$.

Food is so great! Love the chicken boti and fresh made naan. They have the best hot sauce. I would give the restaurant 5 stars but the service isn’t very good. Get your food to go if you can.

DESPITE the mixed reviews I decided to give this place a chance. I am all for local, hole in the wall places. I walked in and the tables were dirty, the floors were cracked, and un mopped that should have been a sign. I walked up and ordered Falafal, Chicken Kabob, & Chicken SHWARMA HUMMUS to go. I waited over 1 hr for my order. I did’t want to leave because my daughter was starving and i figured I waited this long might was well stay. When I got home I was so disappointed! The Falafal’s were disgusting, they were dry, over salted and burnt! The chicken Kabobs were burnt also. I couldn’t even salvage them by peeling off the black. The hummus was WATERY! The SHWARMAANDPITABREADWERETHEONLYEDIBLEITEMS. I WILLNEVEREVERGOTOTHISPLACEEVEREVERAGAIN~

My coworkers and I frequent this place at least once a month. The food is extremely savory and prices are really reasonable. I’ve ordered a number of things here, but today I went with the lunch special. Your choice of two different kabobz(Beef, Chicken, Shish), or Chicken Shawarma, with rice or nann. I went with the Chicken Kabob, with rice, It comes with a side of fresh cut cucumber and onions. Let me tell you, for $ 6.99, you get a whole lot of food, enough for two or three people! I now have left overs for dinner. Service may be extremely slow, but they cook to order. Everything is freshly made. The restaurant ambience may be outdated but I guess you can say the food more than compensates for all of that. All in all, I never say no to coming here. They have pretty good gyros and sandwiches too(Beef gyro or Chicken 65 sandwich). Pro Tip: If you’re just as excited as me to check in and find out you get a small free hummus with an entrée, beware, it will not be honored! The lady behind the counter said that deal is about 5 years old, from the previous owners. When I advised the lady that they need to remove that from Unilocal, she said they dont manage Unilocal. They contacted the previous owners plenty of times, and according to them, they«forgot» the password, so no one manages their Unilocal page. A tad bit disappointing. I guess the old and new owners aren’t aware of the«Forgot your password» option.

This place is a hit or miss(A miss most of the times) They use really low grade meat… like seriously lowww Ordered the mutton biryani one time and it was literally floating in oil. I know that oil is inexpensive in supermarkets, but cmon, that does not mean you get to pour half a bottle in it, yikes greasy! If you’re adventurous, who likes to play lottery, do go here. You might just get that delicious batch of food, or not(probably not)

I been to this restaurant several times as there is no better alternate place to go for biryani close by in schaumburg area. From my experience they are inconsistent with their quality and taste. When they make it good. first spoon of biryani will take you straight into streets of hyderabad… in same manner when you try their biryani when bad. first spoon will take you straight to no mans land :) and will loose interest in trying biryani for months. Only thing that is consistent over here is chaiii. Hope they can be more consistent with their taste and make biryani less greasy.

Pathetic Indian food. I wish i could rate 0 here. Though the prices are less than the competing restaurants nearby this place is very bad in quality food. I ordered butter chicken and chicken biryani — Butter chicken was an yellow gravy seems all full of only water and chicken breast pieces. No taste at all. Biryani to the other side was having less cooked chicken and was nothing more than a steam rice with added colors.

*Food tastes AMAZING but it can really screw up your tummy!* FULLFIVESTARFORTHEFOOD! Food is actually Lazeez! Now let me tell you what I mean by the word ‘Lazeez’ Here are the types of tastes(In my mind, obviously!) in the order of lowest to the highest rate of satisfaction: 1: It is not a food! 2: Worst 3: Bad 4: Not so Bad 5: Not so Good 6: Okay 7: Good 8: Really Good 9: Perfect 10: Awesome 11: OMG, this is Amazing! 12: This is so «Lazeez»!!! Yes, for me, that is the highest rating of a food’s taste! See, they putt all the spices available and which are good to go with a particular dish. The flavor, aroma and color is perfect! Try their Dum Biryani, Chicken and veg, naans, Chai, Chicken quorma, Mutton quorma and all! Everything is great! Just a reminder, if you are not used to spicy food then this could be a trouble for your tummy but otherwise the food is excellent!

I went here on a Saturday night. The food was okay to poor. I got a mutton biryani which was bland and tasteless and the meat seemed like it had not fully cooked yet. I also got some kabobs which were bland and tasted old. The restaurant itself was very dirty. It was also incredibly COLD. Like it was FREEZING and you had to wear a jacket and a hat and gloves, it was uncomfortable. Also there was no one to clean the tables and they were greasy. Really if you’re running a business you need to do the work and not be lazy. I will not be coming back

This place actually got A LOT better. I’m sure they are under new management. The food quality is really good and portions are, too. The kabab platter for 25 is a good deal and so is the chicken Biryani, which they give a lot of. We’ve ordered the kabab platter a few times now. Service has been a guessing game, though, and that’s the reason for the lack of a higher rating. When the lady who owns the place isn’t there, service is slow and inconsistent. Other than that, though, it has the potential to be the best Indo/Pak place in the area. I really hope they keep it up because their food tastes a lot better than«Bbq Tonight’s» and they give more of it.

Had been to this place the first time on a weekend and literally went gaga over the menu and taste. What really pulled me down was just the following weekday I visited this place for lunch and had a nightmarish experience. The food were all stale and only the naan was fresh

I don’t like to talk bad about any place but I have to share an experience. This is the first time we ordered for the office from this restaurant. While working I immediately asked if something in the office was burning. I came to find out that one of the meat dishes they gave us, was completely burnt. Like blackened. I know people make mistakes, BUTWHYWOULDTHEYSERVEIT. Just blows my mind. The chicken dish was pretty ok, but nothing spectacular — and extra salty. The naan was kind of burnt too. I hate to say it but unfortunately I will not be going back here.

Let me start by saying this is not some kind of fancy 5 star restaurant. The guy behind the counter isn’t a gourmet chef with a tall hat and fancy coat, but they can make some killer kabobs. I had the chicken kabob with two fresh pitas. It cost me around $ 8, and it was the best damn $ 8 I have ever spent. The chicken was perfectly cooked, moist, spicy and FULL of flavor. The pita was soft, had an amazing flavor and tasted like heaven. If you like kabobs or naan this is the place to go. Don’t pay attention to what is going on in the back or behind the counter, just eat the food, and give the guys a few extra shekels to thank them for the amazing meal they just served you.

For the price, you get a lot of food — especially the biryani. The chicken was tender and flavorful. I wish I tried the mutton biryani but it was an hour wait. The beef kabobs looked delicious but the meat was a bit dry and chewy. For about $ 20, we got an appetizer and two entrees with plenty of leftovers to take home. The food itself wasn’t spectacular but better than the other places I’ve tried in Schaumburg and cheaper. The interior and service aren’t great but it’s because diners mostly come for take out. I’ll have to come back and check out their other menu items.

This is a Jewel Of Hoffman Estates IL. Chicken Biryani is simply awesome, its as good as the one u get in Hyderabad India. its Value for Money eatery. Evening tea with snacks(chlli bhajji and onion pakoda) are mind blowing. Miss the family pack Biryani’s, its a treat to the soul with all the necessary spices syncing with the rhythm of the soul.
