Beware! Signage is misleading. 40% off doesn’t mean you get any savings. all racks state sales, but not on those items on that rack. In my case winter items are the only item on sale. All signs say all back rack items are 40% off. But winter doesn’t include sweaters, those are year round items. Also despite listing no original price all items are considered to be already discounted. Just shop the catalog. This store is a mess.

Having visited this several times, I can safely state that it is rarely crowded. This makes for a pleasant sanctuary that can often be the madness described as Woodfield Mall. There is plenty of parking and access from Golf Road is easy enough. The staff here is quite attentive. They always greet you at the door and ask if you require any assistance. For the most part, I am a self-serve clothing shopper. Nonetheless, being offered service instead of having to go look for it is always welcome. Upon entering I always head to the back left portion of the store. There’s a section tucked in the corner known as «The Rack» which contains a hodge podge of odd sizes, discontinued and blemished merchandise. Pants that would normally cost $ 40 in the Lands End catalog can be found here for $ 9.50. According to the staff, a lot of special orders get cancelled and end up here. You will find some extremely long pant sizes. If you are 6’4″ or taller and are having a hard time finding pants to fit your lanky frame, I suggest you pay this section a visit. At 6’1″ I am still able to find a few pairs from time to time that fit both style and budget goals. The rest of the store has your standard Lands End fair, nothing of particular note if you are familiar with what the chain has to offer. The clothing is durable if not a bit plain. One final note, you can pay with your Sears Charge card upon checkout if you have one amongst the other standard payment options(credit/debit/cash, etc.).

great deals in the back of the store. Just follow the sale adds and shop when the shipment arrives so its not so picked over. I believe thursdays is when they receive their shipping.

hmmm. so yes, land’s end is for those of us who wanna be WARM for a decent price & are willing to sacrifice some style. yes! that being said, this is a place to hit up during end of seasons. for me, january is fine pickins. I found GREAT prices on high– quality fleece stuff(i’m a teacher, it’s called recess!) & some cozy(but cute) sleepwear. their coat clearance is nothing to write home about, so I head to my local sears & buy nice, warm coats that are actually cute(!) for $ 40! so yeah, I stock up on long underwear & all my winter(recess) gear here– only on clearance. hey, I even got started on xmas presents for next year– it’s never too early!
