I stop at both of the Starbucks on rt 1 everyday both place are always on point people friendly and alway good music playing in that background my ice coffee is perfect every time

There’s ONE barista who’s amazing but I seem to always miss him. As for service, PLEASE. Get rid of PAULINE! I’m not even sure this is her name, she’s pale as a ghost with black hair & bangs. She’s absolutely horrid. Uncourteous, unfriendly, rude, simply off putting. Not only have I received terrible service from her, but I’ve WITNESSED her do it to others. If you hate your job so much, QUIT. I shouldn’t have such a terrible experience simply ordering and paying for a beverage and neither should anyone else. I come here several times a week and I’ve had enough of her, she truly makes me leave with a bad taste in my mouth.

Slow as molasses in here… line out the door for no reason other than they are lazy and slow. I felt like screaming at the lady preparing the beverages. Instead of just preparing the coffees that were lining up on the the table, she stood at the expresso machine watching and waiting for it to brew. It took 8 minutes for me to get an iced coffee after paying. Not only is the service terrible, they are rude, and I ordered a coffee with light cream thay came black. When I mentioned this she just pointed over to the wall to tell me that the cream is over there. I have never had to put the cream in myself at any Starbucks, I swear that’s what I am paying for. I willl never ever return to this starbucks, they need to get a serious clue about how to serve customers. And the woman in front of me was also having a shitty experience. She was standing around waiting for her sandwich, Starbucks employee brings her another coffee and tells her to have a nice day. The lady already had her coffee and was puzzled. Come to find out they charged her for 2 coffees and a sandwich. A sandwich they never made. (Walked in there with a smile, came out in a pissed off mood.)

The last few times I’ve gone here, I’ve had cold receptions at the counter. No «Hello». No «what can I get started for you.» just a stare. In addition, I just paid $ 6 for coffee, it would be nice to get a «Thank you». Again, this is really within the last 2 months that I have experienced this.

This is my favorite Starbucks. The blonde manager knows exactly how I like my coffee, and she is friendly and always has a smile on her face. The place seems to run smoothly when she’s in charge, not like when I go in there and other managers are running the place.

I’m sorry to see many reviewers have had such bad experiences at this location. My review is based on times I visit(morning)… I continue to visit and have minimal issues if any. The lines move swiftly and I’m almost always greeted when approaching the counter.

This location was fast and efficient. I believe they may have sacrificed some of the friendly banter for this efficiency but I digress… I am a BIG fan of the unsweetened Iced Tea and the Trenta cups. Very good for the upcoming summer.

I’ve been stopping here, on my way to work, for years. It’s always the same… if you walk in and see a line, it’s generally because the manager guy is on the floor and royally screwing things up. He’s spacey as hell. Nice guy but you’d think he’d smoked a joint before work. If he’s working the toaster thingy, you can count on him just wandering off, after he receives the order. 9 times out of 10, one of the other staff members realizes I’ve been waiting and they have to jump in. They’re all very sweet but no one is in a rush. Just because I’m stupid enough to pay extra $$ for coffee doesn’t mean I have 10 minutes to sit and wait for it. It’s such a busy spot in the AM so they should understand that if people are flying off of rt 1 to grab their morning coffee, there’s no time to spare. Yesterday was a perfect example… walked in and the line was about 20 people deep. Yep, manager dude was working. Slooooooowly made my way to the front of the line and the older Asian woman was at the register. Double whammy(and that’s not a knock on her age, it’s just how she’s been the last decade I’ve been going there). She takes my order, runs my card, returns it to me with the receipt and then just stares at me, blankly. Um, I need that coffee I ordered. I finally just said, «COOOOOFFFFFFEEEEE». She then gives me this look like I’m incredibly rude for reminding her that I’d like to receive what I just paid for. Ooph. The lady behind me was just shaking her head. There are a few there that are awesome. They’re sweet and when manager dude isn’t around, they’re like a well-oiled machine.

This is by far and away the very BEST Starbucks on the north shore and believe me I’ve been to most of them! I’ve consistently gone there for years and have NEVER been disappointed! Their friendly staff are ALWAYS friendly and remember my drink. This is NOT the gross starbucks located in the Barnes & Noble and is not the one with the drive-thru near the burrito place! They are located next to the Vitamin Shop on the South bound Side of Rt.#1 ! This review has been deserved for a long time! Thanks for the EXCELLENT Service and Strong Coffee !

This is by far my favorite Starbucks in my general vicinity. The service can be slow but the atmosphere is great. I am a freelance photographer so my schedule is pretty open. I am not there for the early morning coffee runs. I always seem to be able to find an outlet for my laptop as well as a place to sit. The people are always quite nice to me as well. I think that some may be getting this one confused with the location across the street that has a drive-thru window.

Very dirty, the lines are always very long, the drive gh takes forever and they can never seem to get my order right. The staff never seems to be paying attention to the people in line, always talking to each other. This is the only Starbucks that I ever have a problem with.

While this isn’t a great Starbucks location, it’s not nearly as bad as the other reviews make it out to be. The service is slow, especially when it’s crowded in the morning(seems like they’re understaffed). However, I haven’t had issues with my order being mixed up. I also haven’t noticed it to be dirty, but I haven’t stayed to eat/drink or use the bathroom there, so I could be wrong.

I go out of my way to go to the one on Rte 1 North and it is not because of the drive through! After many years of going here I still have to order my drink. The folks @ Rte 1 North typically know what I want before I ask! Staff at this location could learn a lot from their counterparts on the other side of the highway! Also, the lines are frequently LONG in the morning. Long term staff are lackadaisical at best, some with minimal customer service skills and drive.

The service was OK, but this was easily the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever been to. Much worse than the previous worst: Watertown Square. The café tables, the floors, the prep counter, the bathrooms. All disgusting. Cmon Starbucks. This store tarnishes your brand.

Easily the worst Starbucks location in the north shore. They are continually understaffed. There is a lady who has worked at this location forever that takes your order but never enters it into the register, she leaves that for another cashier, so you get to repeat your whole order over again. Today she missed part of my order so it was never made, though I paid for it. When I went up to ask where it was the other person working was very nice about it, but the older lady treated me like I was trying to steal from them. Seriously? Over a $ 3.50 breakfast sandwich? The ONLY time I go here is when I go to Artist & Craftsman, while I’ll be going to A&C again I won’t be stopping at this Starbucks ever again, I don’t care if they do have Clover machines. I will go out of my way to stop at atomic or jaho before I get on RT1. Also as another review states, this Starbucks is always dirty, it might have to do with the under staffing it might also have to do with the people who feel it’s okay to throw their trash on the floor. Even with the new couches and chairs, its dirty.

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for years and I’ve actually never had a bad experience here and this is accounting for daily trips so I’ve had a lot of visits over the years. Everyone has always been very friendly and I get my drink served up super fast even when there is a line out the door. I’ve never had a problem with them getting my drink wrong. The other thing is the bathrooms here(well, the women’s is all I can comment on) are always extremely clean.
