Ordered bacon ranch chicken wrap for $ 8. Its size was tinier than I expected. Finished it with 4 little bites. Lmfao.

Went here for a quick sandwich tonight. I have been to many Togos over several decades, this is the worst. It is slow, over 20 minutes to make a sandwich with minimal other customers. Prep table was dirty, almost all containers uncovered. Staff is rude and slow. I asked for refund when it was taking so long and I had to go and the women took my credit card, went in the back, and didnt come out until the sandwich was made, then asked if I still wanted a refund. I should have taken the refund, the sandwiches they made were terrible.

Paid 9.00 for a basically half a meat bbq sandwich on hard old wheat bread. Only thing keeping me from going to safeway for the same sub at half the cost and add some fries and a soda was the service and basically the name. But honestly i feel a little ripped off. I won’t be full after this expensive piece of bread and slice of meat. Sorry TOGOS but your days are numbered when it was possible to get a sub. Chips and Soda for less than 12.00. Your competitor is half price. Your neighbor is half price. I now have second thoughts of coming here. Child portions i can order a large full meal for twol adults. I used to take TOGOS sandwiches on camping trips and long road trips to refuel and avoid fast food. But these prices scare me as im better off buying a loaf of bread, jar of mayo, and sandwich meat for 6.00 now. Sad day for my favorite stop in the world. Sad sad day. I still love the nostalgia and flavors…

Paid $ 11 for a regular #9 that was the size of of most small sandwiches at other places. The pastrami was cold. I asked the lady working if they raised their prices and made the sandwiches smaller she answered with yes. I will NEVER eat at Togos again.

The best Togo’s! I am a stickler for customer service, and these guys and gals deliver. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and they actually care. Kudos to management for hiring, training, and keeping such a great team; every visit has resulted in nothing but a positive experience and delicious sandwich.

My son and I came in around 1:00 today. We waited forever for someone to take our order. The workers seemed to be tripping all over each other. One person was ringing up everyone else’s orders and was bottle-necking the process, Then she took our order and started making our sandwiches. At some point she resumed ringing up others’ orders and turned our sandwiches over to someone else. Then the one who had been handling the register and money started covering up food containers and putting them in the refrigerator – without washing her hands. I ordered a $ 4 mini turkey and cheese with avocado and my son ordered a $ 9 Cuban. I was told my total was $ 18 and change. I told them that couldn’t be right. They said avocado is extra. $ 3 to $ 4 extra? Whatever, I wanted to get out of there. As I was leaving I checked my receipt. Sure enough, they’d rung up my son’s sandwich as a $ 12.35 sandwich. I waited forever for a refund. To top it all off, my son’s sandwich had a hair in it.

Growing up in Saratoga made Togo’s a regular spot for lunch. The place always has a small line and the staff are usually very warm and friendly. My favorite is the hot pastrami — hot pastrami with a black peppercorn crust served on sourdough and your choice of toppings. its by far their best option.

Let me just start off by saying, I’m usually a fan of Togos. I frequent the one in Willow Glen and am always pleased and have been going there for many years. About 6 months ago my worked relocated me to Saratoga, right next to this location. My Co workers warned me and I should have listened. This review is mostly for their customer service. Today was the last straw. I come here probably about 3 times a month on my lunch hour. 9 times out of 10 it’s dead and I walk in to a bunch of the workers sitting around on their phones. One time I had to stand there and wait until one of them finished their story about how drunk she got the night before. Me being as young as I am they probably assume I don’t care but coming from a company who prides themselves on customer service I know right from wrong. Having a conversation about the party you went to the night before, how drunk you got, and what boy has or hasn’t texted you is completely gastly. Not to mention I have never once got a simple, «hello» when I walked through the door. Why do you go back you ask? The simple fact that I forgot to pack a lunch and it’s the closest thing. But today I have put my foot down and I refuse to go back. It’s around 4pm and once again it’s dead. The usual people sitting around on their phones. No one lifts their heads when I come in. Then the girl, who I assume is the manager, stands up to help me. The usual«what do you want». I don’t think this girl has smiled in her life. She makes my sandwich and then yells CANSOMEBODYRING. A girl comes from the back to ring me up. The manager starts yelling at her to remove her earrings. Which made me feel really uncomfortable. I feel as if employees shouldn’t be scolded in front of customers. Ever. So I get my sandwich and sit down. What happens next is why I will never go back. As I’m eating my lunch two girls who work there, seemed to be clocked out for the day. They were talking to their manager over the sandwich bar. The manager literally said, «GETMEOUTOFTHISSHITHOLE, PLEASE!!» as I’m eating my sandwich within 10 feet of them!!! I was literally floored. Am I really eating in a shit hole? What am I eating? There is literally nothing worse than encountering people who hate their jobs. They literally hate being there and now I do too. Funny thing is I’m sure they won’t care. Less customers, more time to sit around and talk about getting drunk. I’m the only one where I work who ever eats at this location, even though we are right next door. I understand why now. I will NEVER go back. Please take a lesson on customer service. Top 10 worst experiences.

This place is horrible. The worst thing about it is the guy who manages the place. Once you get past the fact that he looks exactly like Groucho Marx, you hear him shouting and singing almost non-stop in a rude tone, shouting out exactly what every customer is paying for everything and exactly what kind of bills they gave him. Then you get the food, after a fairly substantial wait. Anything with chicken has weird bits of fatty nastiness in them. The vegetables seem ok. The other employees besides Groucho seem like they are doing their best to work hard, but they look like they are being oppressed by Groucho. I work close by this place, and its one of the only places to eat, but I’d rather go with anything else besides another grouchy sand which. I hope the hard working employees there find something better too. They don’t deserve that.

Never thought I’d be giving a 1 star-rating for ANY place, but this place sure won that lottery! I was already skeptical about heading here because of it’s low overall rating, but that didn’t stop me. Until after my short and terrible experience here with my mom. So I came in today with a Free 6′-inch Turkey & Avocado Sandwich coupon that I received via my email because of some promotion they have going on. They accepted my coupon and made my sandwich and everything was fine. But when my mom did the same, they told her she could not get one because her coupon was not in «original» condition, aka in colored ink. This is the worst and most vague excuse for passing up a coupon that I could even imagine, but if it’s their policy, then they should have been more specific that it HAD to be in colored ink. The coupon literally said«bring in a printed copy and get a free sandwich», and we did just that. More specifically, my mom and I did everything right from signing up for their email list to printing out the coupon like their deal specifically said, to bring a PRINTED copy of their coupon to receive a free 6′-inch sandwich. Well, the employees were more hesitant to accept my mom’s coupon because probably the manager told them not to after he realized that possibly more than one person will be coming in today with that promotional coupon… if you don’t want to accept your own coupons, why do you even hand them out? So eventually, the manager comes out and I politely inform him regarding our problem and he specifically said rudely, may I quote, «Then print it out in color at Office Max or something and come back. We’re not taking this, it isn’t original», followed by some grand, unnecessary hand gestures. Well, I can definitely see why the ratings here are at an all-time low. Even the manager has no care for his customers. I can definitely foresee the success this specific location will have if he continues to run the business like this. Sarcasm intended. In conclusion, do not waste your time and come here because I feel that customer service is the last priority on the manager’s mind. I left the restaurant feeling worse than I did when I first entered… talk about a great customer experience here.

Came here for my fav#9 and got a half warm greasy sandwich that went soggy in 5 min. Place was a mess garbage containers over flowing. Not what i expected from Togos.

Been coming here for pastrami sandwiches(a #9) for as long as I can remember, which is probably since I was 13 or 14. Service is fast and pastrami is good, although it can be a little dry depending what time of day you come.

I’m a huge of their Turkey and Avocado sammich but for some reason they changed up their menu. I didn’t see this one in their Signature Sandwich section. Boo! Customer service is pretty quick here. This Togo’s doesn’t seem like it would ever get packed. Then again, I’ve never really been to a super packed Togo’s. Good place to grab a quick lunch bite but I still prefer Subway for their decent prices.

Came here this past weekend to pick up a few sandwiches for the fam. I had 3 orders of pastrami, but one was with a half Asian Chicken Salad, and so when I got to the counter, I told the sandwich maker, who had a mean stone cold expression the entire time(with a teardrop piercing), I have 3 orders, and started listing them, to make HISLIFE easier of making 3 of the same sandwiches(exact condiments and all!), and he cuts me off, and says, ONEORDERAT A TIME. Sheesh fine. So I tell him the sandwich, bread, and say everything except mayo. When I give him the second order, same thing, he says rudely, WEDONTPUTMAYOON this SANDWICH. Geez, I didn’t know, fine! I acted calm during all this, but deep down, was bubbling inside. How rude of him to act like this to a paying customer, and I observed the other workers, they were completely courteous to their customers, and I didn’t see them getting all huffy when the person next to me listed her two different orders at once. As he was making the last sandwich, I wanted to check he was using white bread, not wheat(only difference between the other two), he completely ignores me. And I know he heard me. By then, I was FUMING. I didn’t want to say anything because I knew he would spit in my food, so I marched on over to the person who took the payments, and asked if they had a customer survey. She asked why, and I started explaining, and my very rude sandwich maker walked by, trying to probably hear what I had to say. Someone comes from behind me and says what is wrong, find out it is the owner/manager, and explain again. When they asked who it was, I turned to the sandwich guy lurking around, and said, HIM. And the balls in me came out and I told him that he was a VERYRUDEPERSON to his face. NEVERCOMINGBACKTOTHISLOCATION. They don’t deserve my money for absolute rude service.

Although this Togo’s location is convenient to where I live, I refuse to buy from here any longer. Like other reviewers, I, too, have been over-charged for sandwiches. On another occasion, I came in with a $ 1 off coupon and the cashier couldn’t figure out how to take a $ 1 off so she wouldn’t give me the $ 1 off. I asked, «Can’t you get your manager to do it?» She said, «I am the manager.»

****Review update– I gave Togo’s a few more opportunities to improve and they have since my original review… and an one recent occasion without prompting the cashier gave me a free drink. Just a great turnaround all together… Just like it was written below by another Togo’s customer, I was overcharged and I just happened to take a look at my receipt before I left… then, the cashier could not figure out the amount to return back to me when I pointed it out. I walked away unsatisfied with the change and no honest attempt at their part to make it right… not the same Togo’s I remember from days gone by.

I have a soft spot for this Togo’s location, because it’s where my parents always bought sandwiches for me when I was a kid. To this day, splitting a large 24(Turkey Avocado, no peppers, no mayonnaise) with my dad makes me happy and reminds me of childhood. There are often long lines to wait through, but if you phone in you can place an order and pick up your sandwiches 10 minutes later. I agree that the service has downhill a little, but Togos still makes my Turkey Avocado just the way I like it.

I also don’t understand how the ratings are so low for Togo’s. Sure it might not be the best tasting sandwich you’ve ever had, but at least the location is convenient for those that live in the area. Also this location has been around for many years so they must be doing something right at least. However, the quality of the sandwiches here are mediocre at best. The only reason I ever come here is when I want sandwiches that are close to where I live, otherwise I would definitely go elsewhere. Other than that there’s not a whole lot to say about a sandwich chain like Togo’s. I would prefer coming here as compared to going to Subway, but realize that there are much better places to get a sandwich.
