Erik’s DeliCafe

Erik’s DeliCafe is one of my favorite places to go for lunch and dinner. The location is a bit out of the way, so it’s always fairly quiet. There’s a great selection of soup, salads, and sandwiches on the menu, as well as their featured items (pasta, potato, macaroni salads).
Some of my favorites:
–Pilgrim’s Progress: a classic turkey/​avocado sandwich with Erik’s goo. If you’re feeling like turkey, you can’t go wrong with this one!
–Del Monte Special: a veggie sandwich with plenty of avocado, cheese, and sprouts to keep you full. I probably order this one the most, as its a sandwich for any occasion.
–Macaroni salad: this Mac salad is great, and half of the time I order it, I almost go for a large (to have leftovers). If you want a side, go for this one.
From the pickle slice included with your meal to the last bite of your sandwich, Erik’s DeliCafe is a great place to get your sandwich fix!

Good food and good customer service! Not a lot of people right now which makes for a calm mellow spot to grab lunch. The house salad is good! So is their veggie soup.
They were really nice when I said it was my first time. They answered my questions and talked me through some options. I feel at ease. :) They’re so sweet!!!
Not to mention the salad was way bigger than what I was expecting! I got my money’s worth for sure!

Fresh, fast, and friendly. I have 25+ years as a restaurant industry exec, so I’m pretty hard to impress. But this location’s management and staff have their act together. After 6 months of becoming a regular, I can state that everything is fresh, every time.
From a product perspective, I’ve never had a bad meal, but the Morgan Hill Aggie is particularly delicious, as are all of the paninis. My personal Erik’s favorite is the salad with chicken and walnuts (dressing always on the side, thank you).
Sarah has particularly excellent customer service. Way to go team!

The place never seems to be busy so the sandwiches come out really quickly.
I’ve only ordered Farmers Market and each time their sauce on the bread makes the bread soggy and falling apart by time I get to the second half… So I started requesting without the sauce :(

This is a great addition to this plaza. I like the Turkey Walnut Pesto sandwich with no cheese and no red onion with the bread toasted. I also like that it comes with a pickle. Ingredients taste fresh.
The place is new and clean and the workers are friendly. They also offer a frequent buyer card. Buy $ 100 get $ 10.

I like Erik’s Deli in general, but this particular location is my favorite. This location opened semi-​recently.
The store is always clean, the staff is consistently fast and very friendly, great quality food! Order the REO Speedwagon, you will love this classic!
I have to point out that the parking is a breeze and this location doesn’t feel busy or crowded… it’s in a sleepy plaza located in a neighborhood… it’s near my work so I love the location.

Just stopped by after my PT session. I ordered a pilgrim progress and the sandwich came out fast. It was very fresh and delicious. I will definitely come back here.

The employees are very quick and efficient here. Every sandwich I get is very fresh and well made. They have a good sense of customer care which makes for a great environment. Very happy with this location. Good job guys!

I’ve been to this new location twice now. On my first visit, I ordered a Raging Bull sandwich and it tasted okay. However, during my 2^nd visit, I had a Chicken Gorgonzola Salad and it was definitely not okay. The lettuce greens were not fresh with some very wilted and rotten leaves. This establishment needs to do a better job making sure that the produce is fresh before I will come back here again.

Love this location and their service. Super fast every time I’ve visited and that means a LOT to me.
Also, the quality is awesome. I have to eat gluten free and the crew at this Erik’s takes the time to use a special (read: different) gluten free only cutting board to construct my sandwiches to reduce the risk of cross-​contamination.
So far, I haven’t been glutened making my tummy super happy. It’s rare when I can eat at an establishment with confidence.
Favorite sandwiches: turkey with walnut pest and chicken and pesto. Can you tell I’ve got a thing for pesto?! Good stuff and the sprouts always seem like the perfect crisp addition in every sandwich.

wow was I excited when this place opened up across the street from my office!
I’ve been there nearly every day since it opened ordering my same sandwich and they now call me by my first name.
The employees are super sweet and greet you with smiles and the owner is always there if you have a problem.
The food is very fresh and very healthy just like the other eric delis I’ve been to.
In about 25 visits they only messed up my order once.
Great place for a healthy lunch!

I love Erik’s Deli so when I discovered that they opened right across my work, I was excited!
I went inside and it wasn’t too busy but not empty either. Ordered the pesto chicken one and also a regular size of macaroni salad. Said it would be about 5 minutes. Went up to counter to ask if it would be done soon after a few more minutes passed by, had it to go so I could pack it easily in case I didn’t finish. Sat down to eat it and read my nook during my lunch break. Manager was very active at dropping off orders at tables as well. He ended up actually bringing me a second order on accident haha. IT was great customer service though.
Went here a second time 2 weeks later. Still great customer service and food was yummy as usual. :)

It’s the first week, they’re still working out the kinks. The manager seems like he genuinely cares that they have a successful location and I hope they do now that this is the closest Erik’s to home. Take out was a little interesting considering the guy prepping the orders to go out gave us one sandwich in a bag (we ordered three) and then took it back because it was for someone else. Then we almost got handed a bag that had someone else’s food after I told him (again) what was in our order. I think they’re just busy and slightly overwhelmed at the moment. I’ll be back and we’ll see how those kinks smooth out.

Great sandwiches but they better hire more people or things will go downhill fast. Ordered Togo. Came in 15 minutes later. Waited 10 more — only for 1 sandwich. Manager will hopefully read this !!!

Erik’s Deli of Saratoga is such an awesome addition to Quito Village. I e-​mailed the corporate office before the deli opened and they forwarded my e-​mail to Michael the Franchise Owner who was so warm and invited me to try a desert on the house.
I came here during their pre-​opening Family and Friend’s Day and had their good sandwich and soup and looked around to see how the café was laid out.
On Monday December 22^nd I came in and had a coffee and used their WiFi which was very fast and no gimmicks just connect enter the WEP Code and I was on.
I also put in my business card to win Shark’s Tickets.
The Next Day I brought in my E-​Mail to have the dessert I was promised. I chose their delicious carrot cake and it went well with the coffee. Michael comes out and tells me that I have won the Shark’s Tickets (woo-​hoo) and he would have it for me on Wednesday.
On Wednesday I came back and enjoyed the café yet again and he gave met the Sharks Tickets. My Father and I really enjoyed the game.
I came in again on Friday and yet again enjoyed the café.
I will of course come back here for good meals, friendly atmosphere .
I would like to see a section of the café with easy chairs/​couch with plugs for computers as well as more selection of coffee (like Panera) and Espresso Drinks.
But other than that its a solid place in Saratoga that is reasonably priced. Great for Prospect, Saratoga High School and West Valley College students.

My first time ever at an Erik’s deli and it was just what u needed… I got good food and great service. Everyone was working hard and I got to sit in peace and enjoy my food before going back to work. I will be back.
