Speaking strictly about the food, It was ok. The steak sandwich was ok. The fries tasted like McDonald’s fries and the bacon cheese fries were good but cold when I got them(I’ll explain that in a bit). The mozzarella sticks were good but at the price of 6 dollars, It’s not worth it. Especially when you only get 6 of them and the sauce isn’t that good. Now as to why the food was cold, We told them to meet us at the back entrance. We waited an hour and I called them asking where the food was. Apparently the delivery guy did show up a half hour ago and waited outside for us but he went to the wrong entrance and not the one I specified. He claimed to have went to the other entrance, the one I told him to go to, but I told the woman on the phone that that was a lie because I’ve been standing in front of the door for an hour. You see unlike every other delivery man I’ve had experience with, He never once came inside to ask around. He stood outside for a few mins and left. I told them specifically him for to come back and to what door to go to. He came back 15 minutes later and went to the wrong door… again. He ended up calling me and saying where he was and I had to walk to him to get my food. Which by now was cold and had to be re-heated, FYI — It tastes like garbage re-heated. And because of that, I am never going to order from them again. Oh and the woman who took my order was very rude and not professional in the slightest.

I’ve given this place a number of opportunities to do right, but there is one persistent problem that is the elephant in the room the owner/manager needs to deal with ASAP: The staff both answers the phone and takes orders in person in an unprofessional, borderline rude manner. If I call a place, I want to at least hear«How can I help you?» or «What would you like?» Not, «whaaat?» or some person-in-a-bad-mood/sarcastic/couldn’t-care-less attitude. Not from a service-oriented business of any kind is this acceptable. You are NOT doing us a favor by letting me us be your customers; your business exists because we are. Other than that deal-breaker, the place isn’t 100% horrible(although the pizza slices surely are). You can get a good sandwich made fairly quickly at a decent price in a town where a $ 20 sandwich is not impossible and $ 15 is commonplace. And it’s conveniently located and open all the time. That’s all the good I can say.

Woooomp womp. Was dog sitting and so ready to mow down on this pizza. But mow turned to meh as the crust was sponge-like at best. It smelled like fried bread dough, but tasted like everything I had to pour on it to save its poor pie self. Delivery was fast.

The pizza is pretty good, sandwiches are okay, and the salads are pretty tasteless. They offer delivery but typically it takes an hour or more, which is a huge drag and ridiculous in a small town like Saratoga. Agree with Randy B. that there’s a general lack of concern for customer satisfaction. The girls behind the counter don’t care at all if you’re happy. They barely can contain their eye rolls.

Delivery driver and the person who takes the order was very rude on the phone! They also asked me if I wanted to tip the delivery driver I said yes and the dollar number I gave them wasn’t good enough! They asked for more!

Great sandwiches and the locals love it. Soups are good too. They also deliver. For those evenings you just want to stay in.

Stopped in for the first time for a quick lunch. Nice set up for dining in, or as I see many others use delivery. Kept it simple, Chicken Salad with lettuce and tomato. Nice sandwich, good value served with some chips and a pickle. Companion had the taco which looked and she told me was very good and just enough for a light lunch. When I’m in that part of town that will be my new go to place and avoid some of the crazy overpriced lunches and avoid some of the underwhelming food downtown at times. Easy parking as well!

Spring St is a great place to order delivery. No minimum and they’re open all day. Every day they have the BEST hard chicken tacos for $ 1.75. Can’t beat em. One time they delivered tacos that were completely empty and then ignored when I tried to tell them via Facebook — so that’s why they aren’t 5 stars. We’ve decided to move past that blip in our relationship and are currently trying to work things out.

Well the subs and sandwiches are usually pretty scrumptious, but the pizza and wings are kind of pathetic. We pre ordered a pizza and wings to be picked up at 620pm and arrived at 617 so I figured I’d wait a few minutes. I was told the wings were almost finished so that’s pretty normal. Well at 635 I finally got the wings. There’s a general lack of concern for customer satisfaction and no consideration to make up for their mistakes. The girls working the counter are pretty inattentive, which is why the pizza was cold before I left the store. Every time we’ve ordered delivery, it takes twice as long as they say, which is why we ordered pickup but ended up waiting anyway. I’m not saying this is a place to avoid but after ordering food here fairly frequently, this was the straw that broke the camels back. Be advised that the service is poor, the pizza and wings mediocre and overpriced, and the sandwiches are pretty good.

The food is amazing but the service is pretty horrendous. The girls behind the counter aren’t very friendly or welcoming. They kind of just stand there and burn a hole through your soul with their eyes while you’re trying to pick from the assortment of delicious sandwiches. And it takes a really really long time for them to make anything. I’ve been there on multiple occasions, busy and not busy, and it’s always a solid 10 – 15 minutes waiting for a sandwich. Like I said food is good but not good enough to deal with all that nonsense.

My husband and I live in Saratoga Springs and we went to Spring Street Deli for lunch once. It was just ok nothing exceptional. not terrible but average at best. I don’t know what was missing but the sandwiches tasted really blah. May be we need to give this place another try.

I tried this deli for the first time tonight because the menu looked somewhat appetizing. I ordered a steak balsamic wrap for $ 7.00. Its suppose to come with the obvious steak along with«fresh greens», croutons, Parmesan cheese and the dressing. Mine was delivered 50 minutes after the order was placed and I had a flour tortilla wrap with soggy lettuce«steak-ums» steak and some salad dressing. I’ve heard many many stories of forgotten items and wrong orders but I decided to give them a shot. $ 7.00 is all they’ll ever make from me.

The food wasn’t that bad but it was one of the most disorganized restaurant I have ever been to ! I think our party met every single person that works there. We ordered six different things and got six different people giving them to us at 6 different times nobody ate at the same time. My husbands cheeseburger got served completely last after everybody else was pretty much done… I got somebody else’s order which I thought was supposed to be French fries but they ended up being hash browns nugget s and they were two different colors like they’ve been Fried at two different times. one half was dark brown and the other half was white like it wasn’t hardly Fried at all… Then when they actually came out with my french fries we told them that we were eating those and I took the one that we actually ordered away. You figured after they screwed up the order they would have just gave us the French fries. I was not too impressed with this place.

This review is for pizza slices only. The pictures of the sandwiches looked good. The pizza on the other hand is sub par… less than convenience store quality. Frozen sponge textured dough, conveyer cooked, under done pizza like substance. Go here and enjoy your sandwich, if you want pizza, try some where else. Pic of pizza is included. Sorry but it’s the truth. Very disappointed.

So good! The service is excellent. We got sandwiches and chips, and our friends constantly rave about their breakfast sandwiches. Highly recommended for a fast, good lunch.

Husby and I order the chicken tacos here once in a while– and they are simple but pretty good. This time I phoned ahead my order, when I walked in I could see my tacos in the window ready for me to pick up. The problem is that the rude counter staff ignored me standing in line for 5 minutes. The two people working the counter were having a conversation with the woman in line in front of me– she had her food!!! Finally one of the girls at the counter said, «Oh, did you want to order something?» Maybe she thought I was standing there for fun… When I finally got my tacos they were cold. Blech… OK food, terrible service… We won’t be back…

I am visiting a friend in Saratoga Springs and used Unilocal to find this place. The hotwings are ok, but the pizza is amazing. The lady taking the order over the phone could have explained the EXTREME size of the pizza… I thought it was a bit expensive, but when they delivered it — I had enough to feed five — not two. I have been so used to tiny pizzas from Pizza Hut and Domino’s that I never even dreamed a pizza this size. I even had to take a photo to put on my FB! But really… she could have given me a description of the size that was more appropriate when I asked her — I would have bought the 16 slice pizza or whatever it was that she described. The delivery boy was also super friendly… Very impressed, but PLEASE explain the sheer size of the offerings…

First off, we would definitely go back. Parking sucks as it’s on street only, no parking lot, but the grub is good. 12 inch subs are huge, super fresh, quality ingredients. Lots of meats to choose from, plus their own combo subs/sandwiches. My wife got their version of a reuben on rye and it was excellent. I got a12 inch turkey sub with provolone(it’s mild, not sharp) and cranberry mayo(quite tasty). Very, very good sub! Prices are pretty reasonable for Toga. This place has all the fried stuff too, mozz sticks, shrooms, fries, etc. The fries are definitely frozen… I wouldn’t get them again. We got the bacon cheese fries which were pretty bland. The fries are okay, not greasy or anything, but the bacon was just a bit too crispy/crunchy and the cheese just didn’t have any taste to it. We took home a sausage pizza and the sausage was homemade and yummy, but they need to put more of it on it. The crust is kinda thick, definitely not NY style. Totally reminds me of Marino’s Pizza in Saratoga if you’ve been there, just a lot cheaper! $ 13 for a large size pizza(larger than Domino’s large), which to me was a really good price for Saratoga. Marino’s is way overpriced in my opinion. I took some pics of what we had so check them out. Not a ton of seating, so be ready for that if you hit this place on a busy lunch day. It’s bottled soda/juices/waters etc. only, no fountain service. Customer service was good as staff was nice and friendly and everything was prepared to order, and came out quite quickly. Good joint… will hit it up again for sure and will try out a few other things like their homemade soup and maybe a burrito or something.
