Took my girl here, and a friend. Great food, good location. Its just situated off downtown, so its not super crazy, but its a great asian fusion place. In a town like ‘Toga, where there’s only so much to be offered– more than enough pizza, chinese, couple Japanese, this brings some much needed variety to the locale and its a great place with good food at a good price.

Had dinner for the first time tonight vs lunch. Somewhat larger portions, much higher prices, much faster service. My kid love the ramen and had it tonight but most would not say it’s what they expect in ramen… like a miso with extra dashi. I had the pad thai which was good but on the sweet side. Bottom line, I’m sticking to the Korean items from now on. Haven’t hit a clinker yet and the value is excellent at lunchtime when you get generous assortments of panchan.

Three stars is a little low for me, but I don’t think this place deserves a four. There food is really good. I had the PHO, and my buddy had some weird curry. I think they were severely overpriced, and their sake selection wasn’t that great. I think they hike up the prices due to their location, which is ok, but their food needs to be on point for that kind of price. Thats all, I’ll go again, maybe i’ll make it a four once I try more of their expensive food.

A hot bowl of soup is what calls out to us on a cold Winter night. My wife suggested Ph at Phila Fusion Noodle Bar since we were heading to Saratoga, and I got excited because I could try their Ramen. We arrived about 6:30 on a Thursday and there was only one other couple dining there. The wait staff and customers were now evenly matched. As in many restaurants with lots of windows and a hot air heating system, we vacillated between taking our coats off and leaving them on until our food arrived. We both kept to our original intentions as we ordered. My wife had the Ph with chicken($ 12) and I tried the Hakata Classic Ramen($ 14) with the Tonkotsu broth. Our choices of draft beer were Long Trail Ale for her and Adirondack Bear Naked Ale for me($ 5⁄12 oz. each). Expecting that both of these dishes would be served in large bowls with plenty of noodles, we chose to not order any appetizers. We were not disappointed with the portions once our food was served. The Ph is actually available in nine different variations. While my wife chose shredded chicken, other options were beef eye round($ 12), beef brisket($ 12), tofu & vegetable($ 12), shrimp($ 13), beef eye round & brisket($ 13), beef eye round, brisket, & beef ball($ 14), shrimp & fish ball($ 14), and seafood(shrimp, squid, scallop, & fish ball)($ 15). The Ph broth was reasonably rich, there were plenty of noodles, and an appropriate garnish of scallions, onions and cilantro. Served on the side were the typical bean sprouts, basil and lime, and the expected slices of jalapeño that was not mentioned on the menu. There was no mint, however, as stated on the menu. Also served on the side were the Hoisin and Sriracha sauces. But this was the first time we’ve ever had the sauces brought to the table in their original bottles. Maybe that works at home, but it seems to take a bit of class away from the otherwise pleasant surroundings of Phila Fusion. The only complaint my wife had with her Ph was that the chicken was overcooked. It was quite dry, just like the last time she ordered it here almost three years ago. The portion was large enough that she brought about half of her Ph home. The reason I was excited to have the opportunity to try their Ramen is that I had my only other not-in-a-package-off-a-store-shelf-ramen only two weeks earlier at another Saratoga restaurant that was recommended by a friend as being«the real stuff without getting on the MegaBus.» PFNB’s menu says their Ramen comes with braised pork belly, cabbage, seaweed, pickled ginger, scallions, sesame, and boiled egg. I had chosen the Tonkotsu(pork) broth over the Miso broth variety in order to have as close a comparison as reasonably possible to my previous introduction to Ramen. What PFNB presented as pork belly was nothing close to what I’ve had as pork belly in numerous other non-Asian restaurants. It seemed instead more like thin slices of pork loin which was tasty and tender pork, just neither the consistency nor texture of pork belly I’ve had elsewhere. As for the comparison with the Ramen I was introduced to two weeks ago on Church Street, while the broth was very flavorful at PFNB, there was NO real comparison. PFNB lacked the richness and depth of flavor that was present at the Church Street restaurant. I’m sure we’ll return to PFNB because we like the atmosphere, the variety of noodle dishes offered, and the other restaurant doesn’t have Ramen as a regular item on their menu. We did find the service at PFNB to be a bit less than stellar. Considering the staff to customer ratio, while being friendly, it was a little slow(relaxed?). But maybe they were trying to give us an excuse for not returning too quickly to the cold outside.

It’s been a while since I’ve visited Phila Fusion and was intrigued by the fact that it’s now mainly a noodle bar. That said, it looks like they still have sushi on the menu(but I had heard that they would be removing it as an option). I wasn’t feeling well last night, so I ordered takeout via Mealeo(which I’ve only done once before… at a different restaurant in town). I was very excited to see seemed buns on the menu… so I ordered those. They’re actually gigantic… served with sliced pork in the middle with lettuce and some kind of other odd sauce… almost like a spicy mayo. Not the best steamed buns that I’ve ever had… didn’t really eat them. The Tom Yum soup was pretty good — not as spicy as I would have liked it but it had a generous portion of shrimp compared to other places. Wonton soup is decent — wontons are soft and flavorful… the broth is mild and the rest of the soup has shredded cabbage(which is a bit different). Phở is quite good — this is one of Phila Fusion’s strong points(and always has been). Fresh roll(with shrimp) was OK… tasty…but it doesn’t take out well. Kinda messes with the texture, I guess since the moisture hangs out in the middle of it(and they weren’t cut in half). I’ll probably come back here again at some point but try to eat there instead of take out.

Delicious noodles! Should try Phở and roasted duck noodles! They tastes like authentic Asian flavor! Want to try that again

The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was extremely polite and quick. I got the shrimp phở which was delicious. The pork dumpling appetizers were warm and savory. Loved the ginger dipping sauce. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Happy I tried this place, I had the pad Thai and mango fried rice. Both were exquisite. The fried cheesecake was delicious as well. I strongly recommend

Mediocre at best. Place is getting a little seedy as well. Sushi and sashimi are best choices. Not much fusion just a big menu of standard Thai, Korean and Chinese stuff.

Stopped on a whim for lunch and were happy wirh our choice. The food cptions were numerous & our selection, Panang curry, was delicious, spicy but not overwhelmingly. It came with options of added suchi & crab rolls for $ 3 more. The amount was enough to share between 2 light eaters. Thai tea was cold & delicious.

Phila Fusion was freakin’ fantastic. Seriously though — they have everything. Place was really clean and nice looking inside, right on the corner of Phila and Henry. My friend and I shared the crab rangoons, which were some of the better ones I have had. We each got a sushi roll — mine was spicy tuna, which surprisingly was not drenched in spicy mayo. Instead, it had a dab of wasabi cream and a jalapeño slice on top. Was very tasty and seemed quite fresh. My friend had the Cherry Blossom roll, which was wrapped in cucumber and had no rice. I tried a piece and loved that one! We each ordered entrees too, which we barely touched because we filled up on the above items. I had the Volcano Shrimp — super spicy basil sauce over jumbo butterflied shrimp and veggies, served with white rice on the side. Will make for great leftovers! Had a really great flavor, would definitely order again. For drink, we had Thai iced tea, which was pretty standard. Would love to go back again to try some of the desserts!

One of the best sushi meals I’ve had in a long time. I’m shocked they only have 3 stars! This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the region. Everything I ordered today was delicious, with perfectly paired and fresh ingredients. It got to the point where I was eating after I was full because it was so tasty! Additionally, the owner is incredibly friendly and all of the staff had wonderful customer service skills. I recommend the: Thai tea Sweet potato sushi(really!) Tom Kha soup

I read many rave reviews of phila fusion so we tried it and it was just«ok». You can tell a lot about an Asian restaurant from their miso soup in the same way you can tell an Italian place will be good from just a plain slice of pizza. Miso soup was bland and lukewarm so not a great start. Got the Asian steak and it was overcooked. Not terrible just ok. I also tried a shrimp dish with veggies that was a bit better and my daughters duck soup with was ok. Growing up in the nyc area my bar is pretty high for sit down Asian restaurants. This place is more like a «point at the picture» take out place dressed up as a nice sit down restaurant. Service was good even though it was busy. I wish I had tried the sushi boat, saw one come out that looked good.

To begin, the menu is about 10x the comprehensible size. I could spend three weeks reading it and still second-guess my decision. My first time here, I got the Asian steak and was rather disappointed. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t great. However, I generally go next door and get sushi at Sushi Thai and the sushi I ordered here was enough to get me back for more. The sushi at Phila Fusion is easily the best sushi I have had in Saratoga and probably the best I’ve had in the capital region. I came back a second time to carry through on my fond sushi memories and I had delicious dumplings as an appetizer. To follow, my boyfriend and I split a sushi boat that was perfection. It was a ludicrous amount of sushi but all of it was delicious and even though I was stuffed full, I wish that I could have eaten more because it was so delicious. If you are adventurous or know your way around a fusion menu, then I would happily recommend this restaurant for that purpose. However, I can recommend it for sushi alone with certainty. I had a wonderful experience and this is now my preferred sushi restaurant in the region!

Our first dinner here after having delivery a couple of times. I’m not a fan of Saratoga Springs style Asian«fusion», which tends to mean«we have Chinese, and Thai and sushi», but our dinner was good. The sashimi appetizer(chef’s choice) included good size pieces of good quality fresh fish(tuna, salmon and(?) snapper). It came with sliced lemon, which I love, although the slices were just a little too thick. My biggest complaint is that the wasabi was weak. My shrimp with basil chili sauce could also have been spicier, but was delicious. The basil was clear but not overwhelming and the shrimp was excellent.

One of the best happy hr deals in town I’ve never had a bad meal here — that goes for delivery too. It’s the best sushi in saratoga. But if you’re coming from NYC or other big city you might be a bit disappointed. The staff is friendly but can be a bit slow. That’s why the one start off

I like this place – it’s not a blowyourmind quality but I go there often, usually for the bibimbap. It’s the closest place to me where you can get bibimbap, and it’s a little different from what mom used to make, but it still satisfies the need! They have just about every noted Asian dish out there – Phở, Chinese(Their General Tso’s Chicken is very good!), Korean, Japanese(Their Udon was a little watery and not as flavorful as their other dishes), and all kinds of sushi! Their Sex On The Beach roll is so good, and they also have Donburi. And if you like mixed drinks, they put a cute oriental twist to a lot of them. I say give it a shot, if you’re unsure. If you want something pure/authentic, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you like to try new things, it’s perfect for someone to give Asian cuisine a chance. Also, the staff are very attentive – some do not speak English very well, but they constantly get your water, are polite, and probably work a lot harder than any person should.

Oh Phila Fusion what to do with you. I usually weight my reviews decidedly towards the food quality, but the food itself isn’t the real issue here. If the food wasn’t good/very good this would be 2 or 1 stars. It just fails at being upscale Asian food experience. First off it’s not Fusion at all, it’s Pan-Asian. It has everything Sushi Thai has minus a few items plus everything else vaguely Asian you could ever imagine on an overwhelmingly gigantic menu. Ordering in a group is like a strategic military planning session, so confusing. Nobody edited anything here. See my picture of exploded menu, it goes for-ev-ver. In the end, Sushi Thai should have opened a more upscale Thai only place with a more(not much less) focused menu, better trained service, and not next door. Food– 3.5 Stars We didn’t do Sushi or Phở we ordered mostly Thai food. Apps– Crab Rangoon, Larb Salad, Veggie Tempura. All were very good, the larb the best. Continuing theme in Sushi Thai and here– the Thai is the best thing by a long shot. Entrees were Fried rice with BBQ pork– Fine not great. BBQ pork came separate which was odd. Crispy Pad Thai– Pretty solid, I love this dish Salted/Sweet Fish– Excellent sauce and the fish was perfectly cooked. Lemongrass chicken– Just OK„ wouldn’t order here again. Drinks– 2 Stars Shitty scotch and soda. Waitress had zero idea of what the bar had even though they have clearly tried to do an upscale bar. Sake was fine. Atmosphere– 4 Stars I like the inside and what they did in the space overall. Service– 1 Star You can’t try to go upscale and have the same service by committee of slightly confused(super nice) Asian women that Sushi Thai has. They didn’t know what a scotch and soda was, or which scotches they had. They didn’t bring new plates until we asked. They still stack dishes on the table in front of you.
