do not order from here they will rip you off. I ordered moo shu vegetable with bean curd and no egg. meal came with egg and no bean curd. no big deal, mistakes happen(even though this one has happened before). called them to let them know, but they denied the mistake and said that I was the one who was wrong, even though the dish was in front of me. i’m a vegan, and they made me eat egg and flat out lied about it. do not order from here.

Good Thai and Chinese food. My friend had the beef special lunch and I had the Pad Thai middle with shrimp. All turn out very good. Lunch price $ 5.00 range and Thai lunch is $ 7-$ 8.00 range. Overalls I will be back to try other dishes…

Pretty good food, decent menu(Thai & Chinese). I’ve never been to the restaurant itself, only ever gotten take out. Delivery is «usually» within 40 – 50 mins(they did screw up once but I think there was a mix up with the online order) but I’ve ordered from them lots of times so I wouldn’t go crazy over just one screw up.

I don’t think we could’ve had a worse experience here. In Saratoga Springs, there’s not many Asian places around. We opted for something near the hotel & remembered seeing Char Koon in the downtown area. Parking is either on the street or public parking lots. Their menu is split in either Thai or Chinese cuisine. Walking in, you could tell this was a mom & pop shop. the two children were playing cards /doing homework /doodling at tables in the front. The girl sat us, took our order & brought them out. Her demeanor could be greatly approved. Not very friendly or nice. We ordered the tom yum soup, which was super bland as it was missing that distinct lemongrass flavor. The rock shrimp was okay, basically battered shrimp with dipping sauce. The eggplant with sweet basil sauce was horrible… The tofu in this dish was inedible! They should’ve called it rock tofu. There was more bell peppers and onions than anything. My spicy basil fried rice was not spicy at all & there was hardly any basil! The bf decided it was the last straw so we sent it back & they added a bit more basil but still wasn’t to our satisfaction. When we told the girl about the rice she said they don’t use a lot of basil, just the flavor… Well, how do you get flavor without using basil?! She then said the chef was new. We got the bill & two of the items had different pricing(higher of course). When asked, she said the menu had the wrong price … Hmm, why don’t you update it then? She left our conversation to pick up the phone without saying«sorry I’ll be right back» or anything. Their bill fold shows Discover but they only take Visa or MasterCard. Needless to say, we will never be back.

The beef satay was okay. The beef was tasty but the sauce was awful and broken. I am a huge pad Thai fan. Their pad Thai is probably the worst I have ever tried. It was a huge bowl of tasteless mush. I will most likely never be ordering from here again

I am not a big fan of Thai food, so this is for the Chinese food only. This is is decent sit-down Chinese restaurant. It is a low cost, no frills restaurant located in downtown Saratoga Springs. In comparison to other Chinese restaurants in the area, this is probably the best sit-down restaurant. It has a standard Chinese menu, and prices are great for Saratoga Springs. The people that work at the restaurant are straight forward and to-the-point. Not very much(any) small talk. I don’t go there very often mainly because of the hard time parking and traffic on Broadway. At many times of the year, or time of day, it is just not worth finding a place to park for a simple dining experience. If I’m already parked downtown it makes it easier, and I just might stop in.

Nice waitress but had trouble understanding our order and spice temperature desired. Had to send back to kitchen to correct… and I really just wanted to leave. Ugliest interior of a restaurant I have ever seen… is it 1965 and still Christmas. Unappetizing. And the huge fish made us so sad… just water. No seaweed or castles or anything. Horrible life for that fish. Zero flavored Hunan Chicken – weakest black bean sauce ever. ZERO!!! No spice and I asked for spicy. Sent back Pad Thai for more spice after asking for medium… No egg roll or soup with Lunch special. Then there was a $ 2 charge for hot tea with lunch. Usually complementary with luncheon specials in my area. Waste of money. Stay away!!! Must be the worst restaurant downtown.
