Hewitt’s Garden Centers – Wilton

I own a local Landscaping business. I shop a lot at Hewitt’s for most of my shrubs trees and flowers. Very friendly knowledgeable staff and treats business owners great. I love the lifetime warranty on all trees and shrubs. Never had any issues with this company

I consider Hewitt’s to be the «big little guy» when it comes to garden centers in the Upper Hudson Valley. On the one hand, it’s not a «garden department» in a big box chain. On the other, it is bigger than smaller greenhouses and supply centers. You’ll get a good variety at any Hewitt’s, but sometimes not the cheapest price. Their Garden and Holiday Decorating Club Card helps there ($ 25 credit for each $ 250 spent).
My visit today was way too early for outdoor plants to be available, but they good sales on seeds and bulbs, and a lot of Easter decorations available. They always have great holiday decorations. Near that you’ll find all the yard and garden supplies you need. When the weather warms up, you’ll be able to choose from a wide variety of flowering and non-​flowering plants, shrubs, trees, bushes, etc. I’ve also been able to find items here which have been harder to find in big-​box plant departments. For example, today I found a uniquely sized clay flowerpot, a size and shape I had not found at any of the aforementioned big box plant departments.
The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.
