Nemer Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Saratoga

I own a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country LX. I also purchased a lifetime Warranty directly from Chrysler when my 36,000 warranty was about to expire. It cost about $ 3,200.00 and payable on a monthly basis. After changing my transmission fluid at 125,000 I immediately discovered my transmission was slipping and not shifting properly. My customary dealer which detected the problem was unable to service the transmission in a timely manner. I called Nemer who assured me that they has 2 full time transmission specialists and had the time to switch out the transmission under warranty. I left the car for 2+ weeks at which time they changed my spark plugs, changed the brake linings, changed my anti freeze etc. Shawn at Nemer assured me the transmission was in good shape. I further spoke to Shawn who assured me if the Transmission failed Nemer would stand behind it and absorb the car rental cost during the repair. Needless to say on my way to New Jersey the day I picked up the car, the transmission failed requiring a flat bed tow truck to a Dealer in Northern New Jersey. I called Shawn at Nemer who initially answered my call and never again returned my numerous calls. Needless to say I am in the market for a new Pacifica and the last place I will choose to purchase the car is NEMERS of Saratoga. Nemer’s actions distort the Brand image of Chrysler. My Jeep Grand Cherokee spent a couple months in the shop due to electrical, transmission, and suspension issues and I was never offered a loaner/​courtesy vehicle because I got «too good of a deal» when I bought the vehicle… not very pleasant people to deal with.

The Express Lane for oil changes is anything but «express.» Unfortunately, this is the closest Dodge dealer to me so I end up going here for service to my SRT. On multiple occasions, I have has to follow up to make sure they were going to use a full synthetic oil, which is required by the owners manual. I would expect to have to do that with Jiffy Lube, but the dealer should have that knowledge. In the end, the work has been good, but don’t count on a quick trip.
