This is a fun little place for wine tasting. They offer all Florida local wines for tasting as well as a few other options. We tasted about 5 or 6 wines each and enjoyed most of them. We ended up going home with two bottles… which were priced at $ 18.99. A bit higher than you pay at Total Wine, but def worth it for the fun of the tasting experience, which was free. The two women working were very knowledgeable and friendly. I think they would’ve let my wife continue tasting for the entire afternoon if she tried. I mean what better did we have to do in the rain! We will definitely go back here. They do accept credit cards, just not Amex.

While in Siesta Key for a weekend celebrating a friend’s bachelorette, we headed to Siesta Key Tropical Wines one afternoon. For $ 3 you can sample 5 wines. We opted to do 10 wines for $ 6. Although not a winery, the shop offers a vast selection of local wines that can all be purchased from there. We were a group of 10 and the woman working was extremely friendly while holding the tasting. Upon learning it was a bachelorette party, she even asked the bride-to-be which wine was her favorite and gave it to her free of charge. Such nice friendly service that makes me wish I lived locally and could stop in again.

Their wines are the BEST! The owners are really nice and funny which is a plus. It’s always good to feel welcomed. We tasted a few of their wines and all of them were pretty much exceptional. Except the chocolate wine, I really didn’t like that one. I mean, fruity wines, where else can you find that? My favorites included the Kiwi Pear Sauvignon Blanc, the Tangerine Tango White Zinfandel, the Blueberry Pinot Noir, and the Three Berry Shiraz. I’m now a fan of tropical wines! We loved it so much, we ordered a few to ship to California! The next time I’m in Siesta Key I will have to be back here for sure.

UGHHH! i wish i wasn’t the only person reviewing this place lol. they deserve better!!! OK so I’m back for vacation and where the first place i hit up? to see my lady at the tropical wine place of course!!! i tried a few wines which were all to die for. i ended up buying 3 bottles(not bad price but could be cheaper) either way all the wines are made locally(mostly i think) in Florida area which is pretty cool, and they all taste good! not to mention how amazingly nice the owner and er daughter is. i could hang out there ll day with them and chat and try their wine! definitely try it!
