One if the cheapest places to drink in Siesta Key. Hazel and Bonnie are great bartenders. No food just great drinks. Not much to say about this place except it is a must stop. A little divey, but, just a greet place to drink. Have been coming here for 4 years. Friendly people and serious drinkers.

By far my favorite place to catch a game during the NCAA tournament. Cold, cheap beer and a great staff. Come here every year and will keep coming

Really dug this joint. GREAT prices. Friendly staff. This is the oldest bar on Siesta Key and it looks and feels that way. Lots of locals ready to party inside, very dark, great jukebox, very clean. The ultimate dive bar.

This place is interesting — exactly what all the other Unilocalers said — dark, smokey, and good bartenders. I’m not a fan of leaving stinking like smoke but other than that it’s not bad. It’s a typical dive bar and not my scene. Otherwise the drinks are cheap and strong so you can’t go wrong with that & it’s always packed so they’re doing something right. It’s worth going in and having a drink and checkin it out.

Love the Crescent Club. Been going there for years and always have a great time and meet friendly people. All types, millionaires to regular blue collar. Free hot dogs on sat. If you don’t enjoy this place there’s something wrong with you.

While on vacation in Siesta Key, FL we were looking for the complete antithesis of the typical tourist spot, and we found it! The Crescent Club did not disappoint! Amazing…dark, dingy, smokey & full of regular customers. My kind of place! The staff was amazing! Real, professional old-school bartenders who knew how to play the game! I could tell right away that these ladies had NO problems holding their own behind that bar… piss ‘em off and you’d most likely be on your ass on the sidewalk. If you’re looking for a bright, smiley, sunshine-filled place to relax with a fruity cocktail while on vacation, this is NOT the place for you! Just keep walking because you will be disappointed. But, if you’re looking for a laid-back place to grab a beer, you should definitely stop in! It was sunny and beautiful outside, but we’d rather sit inside and drink bloody Mary’s until the sun went down! The regulars were tough to talk to at first, but I totally get it… this is THEIR place, THEIR turf, and it’s constantly being invaded by tourist looking for frozen margaritas or pina coladas! We went there everyday on our week-long vacation and were so terribly sad to leave! We made some great new friends and had the pleasure of watching real bartenders do it the way that it should be done! No pretense, no BS, no amateur flirty crap, just awesome ladies slingin’ drinks the old fashioned way! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Um when I’m told to stay away I tend to dive right in! My kind of place where it’s not over crowded, music was good and prices were cheap. Our friends had a blast and enjoyed this place! If you want to pay tourist prices for drinks then go elsewhere.

I am writing this as a tourist. When the locals say stay away, STAYAWAY. They were rude, and everyone was giving us dirty looks. Excuse us for sharing the planet! I have lived up and down California and I can honestly say no one has ever been that rude to me.

TOURISTSSTAYAWAY! This place has been on Siesta since the 1960’s when my grandparents used to frequent this establishment. This is as iconic and authentic Siesta Key as you can get. Drinks are extremely well priced. Has the dive bar feel, with the comfort of the island. Try it out if you’re a(cool) local.

I have been going to this place since the early 80’s. They are friendly, caring and willing to dispense local knowledge if asked. Beer and drinks are as reasonable as it gets with out any attitude. Always a sure bet for a smile and friendly«how you do’n»

It is true that this place is a great dive bar that should be put up on the pedistool for great dives in the Florida area. All the bartenders are woman so how can you go wrong with that. The girls will treat you well and also are not afraid to speak their mind. Nice and cool inside and DARK!

When you think of dive bars, this one sets the standards for everywhere else. This is by far the friendliest place in the country where you can pull a stool up to the bar and have a couple enjoying conversations and characters all the while. If your in Sarasota and you enjoy a good time, this my friend is a stop that must take place!

Dive bar where the locals hang late at night. This place doesn’t offer outdoor seating, it doesn’t offer food(unless you count the bags of peanuts available for sale), and it doesn’t go over the top with Florida imagery(dolphins, sea shells, pastel colors, etc) and it *is* cheap. So, it’s basically a lot different from most of the places on Siesta Key. We happened in here about midnight and found an odd mix of regulars, from rednecks to moderate sophisticates, and even a girl whom I thought was a «professional», but apparently just dresses that way because she was with her husband or date. Sports were on all the tv’s except two… one showing a MASH rerun and the other Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Turns out Millionaire is pretty good drinkin’ telly. Who knew? Two beers and a glass of wine were well under 10 bucks. Holy gosh darn that’s the lowest amount of money I spent anywhere on my whole vacation.
