Got the vegan Berkeley. Decent, fresh but nothing to write home about. It might be a good place to satisfy all diets but I wouldn’t make a special trip here.

If you want to close so early on a weekday, maybe you should stop accepting delivery orders sooner!

So last night I ordered a pizza, my card got charged. But it never came. So I called today and told them about how I never got my pizza, and the guy said they called and called but I never answered. So he refused to give me a new pizza or give my money back. If there was a problem with communication, my address is on my order. They could’ve broughten up, my landlord would’ve called me. And it could’ve ended. He told me after an argument he’ll cancel the transaction, so it worked in the end.

They deliver and the pizza is great. Friendly delivery folks.
Would definitely order again.

We, 2, ordered Large american pizza and ate all. Pear salad was okay, Pizza was fresh hot, yammy. And I actually liked the dough. thin, well toasted. I loved this place, the people are all nice, but I doubt I go here for dinner again. They have deal menus which look reasonable. Yeh it is just an average pizza place.

My friend and I were shopping in the financial district area and craved pizza so we just came to satisfy our cravings. Zpizza offers pizza by the slice (only 3 options – cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom) and also by the box (small, medium, large) with more options and toppings available.
I mean the pizza here was good and we definitely satisfied our pizza cravings and I would come again but I wouldn’t say that the pizza here was SUPER out of the ordinary or anything. To say the least, I think the pizza here is worth the price paid.

The service was great! The manager was very knowledgable and helped me navigate the menu with an allergy to gluten and dairy. We’ll be back and recommend it to friends.

Very delicious pizza! I’ve had both the regular and vegan options and being mildly lactose intolerant the Berkeley vegan hit the spot! I got it on wheat bread and the cheese tasted amazing along with all the different veggies and vegan burger crumbles. YUM! Definitely one of my new favorite places to grab pizza in the city. I had some of my friends regular cheese pizza and the cheese was to die for! Would definitely recommend this place, the staff is very friendly and the service is pretty quick only took 10 – 15 minutes for the pizza to be done!

I found this place one day as I was walking to the mall. I decided to give it a try and really liked it. The pizza is good and we’ll priced. What I really liked was there hot meatball sub. It’s a nice comfortable place that has classic music with old records and photos on the wall. If you’ve never been here and looking for something good to eat give this place a try, I think you will enjoy it.

The good: plenty of seating space, very close to Westfield mall, great service, fairly priced, and freshly made.
The bad:
— The dough is very plain, and wasn’t quite as cooked as it needed to be
— The pizza was dry. It didn’t have enough marinara sauce and was quite plain tasting.
This is your average pizza place — I’d give it a 2.5÷5 or ⁵⁄₁₀. It’s really overrated at a 4/​5, but in a pinch it’ll do.

The Berkeley Vegan is the best vegan pizza I’ve ever tried. It is full of flavor, a crispy crust and the right sauce and spices to make it super tasty, even if you, like myself, are not a Diaya cheese fan (under other circumstances I usually can’t stand it). I order the Berkeley with added pineapples. My family loves to eat it too whenever they are in town.
Another vegan option is the Yuppie Sub sandwich without cheese and adding their Diaya. That is so good as well, especially the caramelized onions. They have a good selection of pizzas for anyone (and if you don’t like pizza, you can have a sandwich or salad).
The restaurant itself is very casual and they tend to play good classic rock music. The staff is always friendly. One thing I love about this place is that they offer delivery (many pizza joints with good vegan pizza don’t have this option). It is only $ 2 extra and about a 45 min wait, which for me is worth skipping the tedious MUNI ride down. I wish they were open later than 9 pm and that delivery was available before 5 pm, but otherwise no complaints.

Great pizza place that delivers in very reasonable time, even on a BIG fight night! Way better than roundtable.

Finally! One of the better pizza spots that actually deliver to my area!
Ordered: Half Pepperoni, Half Sausage and Mushroom
The dough was thin and crispy, a crunch to every bite of the crust. The pepperoni was cooked to perfection — a little bit crispy, yet still held its juices. The sausage and mushroom was evenly spread out on the pizza. All in all, delicious in each and every bite.
Though the downfall to all thin crust pizzas is that it takes a lot more to fill you up. My fiancée and I ordered an XL pizza (18″) thinking we’d have plenty for leftovers. The slices were cut pretty big; we each had two slices, and there were only 4 remaining. We’re not big eaters, so keep that in mind when ordering!
Yeah, it’s a little pricey and they add $ 2 for delivery, but I can honestly say this is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the neighborhood. Oh and the delivery guy was super nice too!

zpizza is consistently consistent thin slices of hot triangles! I have been enjoying their salads, simple clean space always playing classic rock selections for years now. The company theme is late ‘60s, and I really like the vintage vinyl and Janis Joplin art on the walls. Every great sound that was in the world of classic rock can be heard here, as you nom nom away.
Besides the traditional slices and a drink for $ 5, they have rustic flatbreads, ”take n’ bakes”, pastas, ”shareables”, salads, gluten-​free, vegetarian, and vegan choices, plus sandwiches.
zpizza staff are classic Californian, and the food represents that, too. Fresh, mélanges and light, so even after a fulfilling meal you don’t feel full. Try the Mediterranean plate!
The company started in an art colony in Newport Beach. And the staff at this location of zpizza is straight Laguna Beach-​style surfers.
I really like that zpizza only uses non-​GMO, never MSG, everything is made in-​house, fresh. You can watch them making and baking on site.

This is a review for their catering services, which were great.
I needed food for ~40 people with a variety of food concerns — vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and zPizza was the ONLY place that could deliver all of that plus regular pizzas and salads for a great price.
I thought the thai chicken pizza was great, and all the others were good too. Salads were fresh and yummy, and delivery was prompt.
If you need cheap catering for a large group, I’d totally recommend zPizza!

I would recommend this place

Won’t deliver to hotels. Completely unreasonable about it and won’t compromise even to meet downstairs to grab a prepaid order. This is despite a 20% tip on delivery for a $ 25 order. Super lame.
In the end I walked and picked up the pizza. I was not impressed, maybe because I actually have had decent pizza (e.g. I don’t live in California). I would give it 2.5 or maybe 3 stars, but the lack of delivery to my hotel, in an area of town that is frankly nothing BUT HOTELS keeps this place firmly in the 1-​star, not my friend, zone.

Whenever I’m in the mood for pizza and don’t want to settle for cardboard-​tasting Dominoes, I head to zpizza!
They are not exclusively vegan, but they have enough options to make any vegan smile!

Vegetables of all sorts, including shiitake & cremini mushrooms, zucchini, caramelized onions, sprouts, and serrano chilies.
They already have a great menu of pre-​made variations, but of course you could always build your own.
I’ve done both, and yes I have tried the Berkeley Vegan. It is what I wanted (with both daiya cheese and vegan burger crumbles), but also has a great selection of vegetables on top including zucchini, mushrooms, bell peppers, and red onions.
A small has 6 slices and I find it perfect to share. Larger appetites should opt for a medium for 2 people.
The prices are fair, the service is quick and friendly, and the taste is on point!
They also have a decent (albeit limited) bottled beer selection. Choose from Drake’s or Anchor or Ballast Point. Goes perfect with a warm gooey slice!
