Have known Amy for a decade and a half, I wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone one else. Her salon is a button-​cute little thing on the upper level of the Activspace Warren, conveniently located near the elevators and stairs. Highly recommended not just for the care, precision, and quality of the haircuts but also for Amy’s charm and warmth. Go, you won’t regret it!

Amy was my stylist for 4 years and she still would be if I lived in the Bay Area. Not only is she an *expert* with the scissors but she is also sweet as can be and will help you look your hottest.

Amy has been cutting my hair since the beginning of time, and she’s never steered me wrong. Under her care, I’ve been a curly redhead, a straight blond, a bobbed brunette… and probably plenty of other coifs I’ve since forgot. Untended, my hair strongly resembles an old squirrel’s tail, so transforming it into something pretty takes a seasoned eye and an exceptionally steady hand. Plus, Amy knows her trends and helps keep me current, which I’d never be able to do on my own.
As an aside, it’s a pure pleasure to spend a few hours a month with Amy. I plan to keep doing it until we’re both wearing support hose. And beyond.

The sole proprietress Amy is an artist with the scissors and a gracious conversationalist. She has a consummate sense of style and an uncanny knack for crafting great looks. I look forward to every trip, and walk out looking a lot better than when I came in. Highly recommended.
The salon is tucked into a charming space near 18^th and Folsom. I appreciate because I don’t have a car, and it’s very close to BART and several bus lines (Mission buses, 22).
