The Sandwich Gourmet

Prior to their impending close in fall of this year, treat yourself to a COMBO. Bacon AND ham, egg and cheese on a buttered and toasted Safeway english muffin. $ 2.75 and great. That is pork, breakfast buddies, or should I say pork deuced. Jamon squared. Pig + pig = yum. This is the cholesterol breakfast of kings. The Asian couple that runs it is awesome, always friendly and quick. Unfortunately they are falling victim to the Teht Offensive that is Starbucks, and are being shipped off the 38^th parallel (to mix pan-​Asian war metaphors). So give them some business while you can, before the Combo is replaced by a triple half caff caramel Mochalatte and a Boisenberry scone.
Ask for pepper, no salt, because the salt content they apply is Dead Sea status. Seriously. Cash only, bitches.

i love this place. super simple super cheap. it’s everyday for me and has been for the last year. sometimes i get the combo which is bacon ham egg and cheese on a english muffin. i have since migrated over to turkey egg cheese muffin. 3 for the former 2.5 for the latter.
on a sad note though they lost there lease and will be shutting down permanently in September or October. and lo and behold what’s going in there you ask. yep Starbucks. exactly what we need right. like the Starbucks over in the B of A building isn’t enough. it’ll be sad to see them go but I’m sure they will enjoy their retirement.

Super basic hole in the wall sandwich shop run by this cute older Asian couple. Had a roast beef sandwich, some potato salad, and a bag of chips for $ 6, honestly, the sandwich was a little bit skimpy on the meat but was still good and tasty. Nothing to go out of your way for, but it’s a good cheap option for those last 1 or 2 days before payday, and I like supporting mom and pop type place. More of a 3.5 than a true four, but I’ll round up. One note: cash only.
