I used to go to this place and got sandwich but recently in last month I got seek I think something wrong with their meet first time I bought sandwich for dinner after I had it I felt nausea and I vomit all night and second time I had chicken and bacon I think something wrong was with chicken on bacon I felt nausea again but not vomiting now I stop buying from that place some one have to check there and check meat expiration date or the quality

The sandwich is just as it is at every subway… You’ll like what you order IF THEY HAVW WANT YOU WANT. I’ve been there multiple times (due to the fact I work down the street) and they didn’t a few items each time. Once they didn’t have the type of bread of choice, no biggie a lot of locations run out of bread. The next time they didn’t have cheese, the next one of the meats of choice. Like who the heck is ordering your supplies…
Other than the lack of stock, the employees don’t seem to like their jobs at all… They seem bothered to make my sandwich, every time they make it… Unless I’m just an ass and they like me only (LMBO) but I don’t feel this to be the case.
Bottom line, they food is exactly what you want if they have it. Just look forward to the lady mean mugging you while she makes your food.

This location is alright. I can here to get my sandwich for lunch. I can here because my mom used to go to the UCSF Mission Bay workout gym. I am glad this location has seething. Two things I don’t like is that one time I came here that were not accepting Debit cards and credit cards. That sucked. Also I don’t like how pigeons walk in and out of the store. I bet that is a San Francisco health code violation.

Nothing to see here. I go here to satisfy my hunger when there’s nothing around a 1 mile radius. I do wish UCSF has better places to eat… at least its better than Publico, which runs out of ingredients faster than it racks up revenue.

usually a staple of lunchtime eats. asked for tuna on wheat, out of wheat. ok white will do. get to car, unwrapped and WOW must have been out of tuna as well. seemed to spread the tuna on bread like peanut butter. VERY UNFULFILLING

Who reviews a Subway in San Francisco? WHO!!!

Just your standard Subway located on the UCSF Mission Bay campus. Its one of the few eatery options on the campus (for now atleast) and seems to build up quite the line during the lunch hours. They offer quick service with the same fresh ingredients as all the other Subways.
The $ 5 deal of the day is very much worth it. Its a 6 inch sub with a drink and a side order. However, the best deal is the 2 $ 5 subs after 4 PM. Always worth it if you and a buddy are looking for a cheap, late afternoon meal.
Pro Tip: If you work at UCSF and a frequent visitor, it might be worth it to buy a $ 25 gift card and get a free 6 inch sub!

Unless you want to walk 15 – 20 minutes away from the UCSF area to grab your lunch, the small strip of stores where this Subway resides is just about the only game in this part of town.
As choices go, Subway is not horrible. It’s passably healthy, you have a range of options, and it’s not completely pre-​made vending-​machine food.
Quality. I’ve had worse Subway sandwiches — but then, I also remember when the bread looked like a hot-​dog bun. In other words, nothing stands out as remarkably bad. Chip and drink choices are pretty similar. Some fountain, some bottled, there you go.
Service. It’s fine. It’s efficient. They get your order right. And given the area it’s in, it’s remarkable that it never seems to get super backed up (even though tons of people come through).
Seating. There are some SMALL tables inside. No worries, there are tables outdoors, too. And benches. And at your desk, back at the office.
So, while the cool places in Dogpatch and SoMa lie tantalizingly out of reach, too far of a walk for your typical lunch break… you can still enjoy your Subway.

Service is good and sandwich is your typical subway sandwich. If I am in the area I will go here.

you can always count that your subway will taste the same… my chicken sandwich is the same from coast to coast. You will get exactly 4 cheese triangles, 2 chicken breasts and 6 slices of tomato etc… I can at least count on this place to be consistent
A couple of gripes about this location: if you ask for spinach you will be given 6 leaves, upon asking for more you will get 10 leaves total and then the person making your sandwich will give you the devil eye.
Sometimes towards closing, they will close the doors and lower the blinds to give you the impression it is closed, but it is still open!

My go-​to place for lunch if I dont bring it to work. The servers are nice and they move the long lines quick. If you want extra stuff then they will provide it.
The only bad thing is they keep giving me the browned parts of the guacamole. Not rating them down on this but Id prefer not to eat the oxidized part.

Convenient located if you’re at Mission Bay. Easy bite to eat when you don’t want to go far. Staff can be a little slow at times and the ingredients don’t always look the freshest, but at the end of the day, what do you expect? You get what ya pay for!

This place usually skimps me on the ingredients.

I think I had too much subways in the past two weeks. I’m on campus almost everyday for a job assignment and subway was the closest and fastest grub I could get. Footlong veggie delight on wheat, toasted please. It’s not bad and fills me up, and there are plenty of seating outside on a nice sunny day. There aren’t that many lunch choices on campus so if u want a quick lunch, this is the place.

I typically try to avoid reviewing chains but I absolutely have to vent. I love $ 5 foot longs but the old Quizno’s worker in me cannot let this complaint slide: do not be skimpy with vegetables! Six olives over 12″ is ridiculous especially since the sandwich maker had a handful of olives and then proceeded to open her hand and dump all but six olives back into the container. You can imagine the other vegetables were invited to my sandwich party at the last minute, so they all flaked out before the good stuff came.
I guess Ill just make the five minute walk to Panera, Quizno’s, or Safeway from now on.

$ 5 foot longs (two meals for the tiny, a full meal for the large) actually fit the grad student budget, unlike the other on campus eateries (café 24 and the pub)
It’s subway, there’s not much else to say. A sandwich here tastes like a subway sandwich anywhere else.
Tiny inside with a couple tables outside. Plenty of grass in the nearby quad to eat if you’d like. For grad students, you can always go back to lab to eat…

I’m comparing this to other Subway experiences, and I’d say it’s middle of the pack.
More precisely, it’s inconsistent. Subway is really all about the «sandwich artist». I’ve had great ones (criteria for greatness: not fucking up, smiling) — usually doing the late shift on a weekday. I’ve also had bad ones (misunderstanding my order, being obnoxious) — on weekends mostly I think.
I do prefer this Subway over the 4^th and King one.

In’n’Out…where are thou???

Well, uh, it’s a Subway… basically like the rest of them. Sometimes it smells a little funny. The interior is tiny, seriously made for hobbits (like me). The food selection down here at Mission Bay is abysmal, so I’ll be honest, I’m actually pretty stoked that this place is here.
I like that I can get the sub of the day for $ 3.
I hate their ruthlessly effective $ 5 footlong ad campaign. HATE IT. And so that costs them one precious star. An additional star off because, well, it’s a subway.

I have to give this subway five stars, just for showing up. The people (workers, residents, students) of UCSF Mission Bay campus have been waiting for more food options for way too long. Thank you, Subway!
On a more objective note, my likes/​dislikes about Subway:
— This particular subway is quick with the lunch crowd, slow at all other times.
— I hate how subway, in general, has grated cheddar cheese. Can’t I get a slice of cheddar!!!
— I don’t understand why subway hasn’t introduced egg salad to their menu, or some other option besides the veggie sandwich for the vegetarians in the house. Togo’s wins with their egg salad, tuna salad, avocado and hummus, etc.
— I do like how they have integrated the «toasted» option… an idea stolen from Quizno’s no doubt
— I also particularly LOVE their cookies– which came as a big shock. I thought they would be the typical stale cookies. Nope. Soft, and yummy.
In conclusion: Of course I’ll be back. I have only 2 other choices within walking distance!
