Food is just disgusting. Salad was pre-frozen and looked like a piece of shit, fly’s everywhere, tables are dirty. Chef salad was unbelievable disgusting as well.

Surprisingly good decaf latte — no burnt, bitter effect like what you get from most of the terrible, ubiquitous chains and small shops alike.

Pretty much the worst caesar salad ever, stick to Trader Joe’s, it’s half the price. The lettuce was all the hard ends of the romaine, no leaf. Almost no cheese on the salad. The dressing container was half full, so half of my salad was dry. There is very little chicken and it’s bland and dry. Not eating here again.

My morning coffee spot on campus. No frills — just some hard-core service and drink.

The service people are always super nice and friendly. If you want quick coffee and a bagel, it’s a nice place. Their wraps are refrigerated and get re-heated which don’t give the best taste.

I stopped by during what appears to be holiday break for the UCSF Mission Bay campus. After an hour long run festival on the awesome treadmills(state of the art, folks), I ventured outdoors to catch the light rail and was almost plowed over by bitingly chilly wind! I made a bee line to this café. I was jonesin’ for some Java, but what caught my eye was a beautiful, sweet bae… In the form of a chocolate iced cake donut. Oh, I’m off-season for bikini prep, but ohhhh my, that sinful treat hit the spot! Very slim selection of goodies, but quick and friendly service wins an a-ok in my book.

If there is one thing you need to know about Terzetto, it’s that their coffee is strong – exactly what a UCSF campus needs for brainpower to advance health worldwide. Bonus points that their coffee is organic(for all the health-conscious UCSF people), that there’s something special about the sourcing(for all the coffee snob SF people), and that there’s a free upgrade to large at the price of small(for thrifty UCSF students). However there isn’t much else besides the strong coffee that’s worth getting at Terzetto. The pastries are not particularly good(I usually get the bran muffin but it’s on the oily side), and the wraps are very saucy to that point that they’re soggy. Service is usually friendly, though I’ve run into incidents like staff at the cash register who keep talking even when you’re standing right in front of them and waiting for them to finish chatting, and someone working on a weekend once and cleaning everything up like an hour before the official closing time(they don’t understand how important midday caffeine doses are for anyone doing UCSF work) Lastly, very often there are a bunch of pigeons waddling around INSIDE the café. There need to be some UCSF public health folks to complain.

flies hanging out in their refrigerator. this place is not well ventilated, in the summer it’s incredibly stuffy and warm and you begin to question the temperature of refrigerated products here. this establishment really attracts the flies like no other… not sure why, but it’s really disturbing to see flies inside their display case with food inside.

Really fun and friendly place! Great good and decent priced coffee. Love the service, and the people!

If I’d have come at another time, say during a soccer match, and had a beer and a panini — then I suspect this place will shine. But for coffee and pastry, it’s dull indeed. Hopefully they invest in higher quality baking and better soy milk soon.

Adding to the more recent reviews on this place: I’ve been here a handful of times, mostly in the mornings after the gym and before I hop onto the shuttle for a quick caffeine boost. I usually see a young lady working the counter — always so cheerful every time I come in. There’s plenty of tables inside to enjoy your drink/meal or get some work done, and one tv that has the local news channel on every morning. Bathroom in the back is fairly clean. Minimum $ 5 purchase if you plan on using a card to pay. Food(typical $ prices): –Café mocha(nonfat, light whip) — consistently satisfying. Just had one today and it wasn’t overly sweet, just perfect. –Bagel w/cream cheese — simple breakfast. Hard to go wrong with that. There’s a broad selection of pastries and typical lunch options(ie. soup, paninis, salads) available here as well. I’ve never tried them but maybe I’ll do so next time! Overall: 4. Good spot to drop in for some coffee or simple breakfast/lunch options if you’re at the mission bay campus.

I was very disappointed to find out that Reina was no longer working here. She was the reason I went to this coffee shop, because she knew how to make my coffee. Sadly, the change in staff has left me disappointed with my coffee choices and I will not be returning.

I don’t know what I would do without this place! Reina is one of my favorite parts of working at UCSF Mission Bay. She is a great barista, makes incredibly delicious lattes(which is a really important part of my day) and is always friendly, polite and quick. Beer on tap, great coffee, cool interior, decent bathroom, good people.

I don’t know what I would do without you when I interned at UCSF-Mission Bay. WIth the countless time not being able to stop and wait in line at Philz due to time constraint(aka on the borderline of being late), I knew I could count on this little place for quality coffee as well.

Excellent cream of tomato and polenta soup had here. My panini, on the other hand, was pretty bland and unexceptional. Nice café in the UCSF/warehouse district of East SF, but probably gets more business than it would in a more competitive neighborhood.

I am simply under impressed with this place. I was in desperate need of a cup of coffee and some café wifi, and landed upon Caffe Terzetto because it was the nearest coffee shop to my Current Location, according to my Unilocal app. After finally finding permissible unpermitted parking on the strange(but beautiful) UCSF campus, I walked about 5 min to this place, only to be greeted with blasting reggae music, small tables that were being beaten by the sun, and a wifi internet connection that did not work. I am giving two stars because the coffee was okay. But I was super annoyed. I checked out Google Maps on my phone and found a Starbucks about .3 miles away. I don’t love Starbucks, but it had to be better than this. And at least the wifi is reliable. I packed up and got the hell outta there.

Apparently … Café Terzetto has TWO Unilocal Profiles … one with 4 stars and one with 2 stars. So here is my review from the profile with 2 stars. «2 addresses» I hate that I keep on giving this place multiple chances. I don’t know why I think they may do good. Here’s what they failed on me. 1. Iced Chai Latte with Soy: SOURSOYMILK. soy milk chunks in the bottom? yum. not 2. White Chocolate Mocha: oh gee thanks for giving me a cup of syrup, I love my Coffee minus the espresso. 2b. White chocolate mocha: oh gee, did you forget the syrup this time? Oh I told you I wanted scalding hot coffee that you would hand me without a sleeve and make me carry to the other side of the shop? The ratio of your espresso drinks here are 95% hot water 2% milk and 3% syrup? awesome. 3. Iced Coffee. Wait? you’re OUTOFICE? 4. Chai Latte: There was no chai in this, it tasted sour, lukewarm and of course bland. I got a good danish from here once. That’s about it. The people who don’t know how to make coffee? really nice. really unskilled, but nice. I hope one day they can redeem themselves, sadly I’ve given it 4 tries, time to throw in the towel.
