Can I just say I LOVETHISPLACE!!! The Filipino Barista in the early AM hours is always on point I have a Starbucks Waaay closer to me at 50 Beale but they pale against this location. I love the service the actual cup of non fat no whip Extra foamy caramel sauce mocha!!! ONHIT!!! The cashiers also point!!! Don’t mind giving tip here!!! They know what’s up!!!

The guy in Starbucks overcharged me for banana bread and after I corrected him, he rudely asked me if its not just banana. I am fucking eating this from last 2 years n price is same. Anyways, have some coffee before work man before you ruin someone else’s mood over the coffee

Why do you have to yell over the line to ask for drink orders? It’s before 9:00 in the morning and no one needs to yell at you especially before you have your coffee.

Small Starbucks. Literally is JUST coffee shop. There’s nothing to sit on. No tables or chairs. Just order pick up and a small counter to add sugar, half and half, the usual. The bathroom is unisex. Only came to this Starbucks because it is the closest one to office building. Gets the caffeine done though

Love it because it’s open very early and has friendly staff. I get there around 7am and it’s never crowded but I know it gets really busy around 830 – 9. The ONE thug I wish they had was a toaster. Currently, there is no way to warm up pastries. Shame!

I was yearning for a venti caramel frappuccino before heading to the Transbay Temporary Terminal. The baristas were very friendly. The one handling the duty of cashiering greeted me cheerfully immediately. I like that… acknowledgment right away. I guess not all Starbucks are alike. The service was quick, and my beverage tasted way better than the one I had at a Starbucks in Alameda.

I’ve given this place a try several times now, and I can’t help but be less than amused at the lack of customer service from this particular store. The employees are lack luster(at least the ones at the cash register), and the service leaves me questioning why i continue to go into this store when there are so many other options available(the answer being, that this one never has a crazy line and isn’t surrounded by bums… the few pro’s to this place). I’ll continue to make my afternoon coffee walks over to Drumm or the one of Market next to BART. They never seem to fail me.

I’ve experienced better Starbucks. Just today, walked in and saw little flies flying around the pastries. Lost my appetite. Today they did make the Venti mocha correct, though it cost over five dollars! And Starbucks again raised their prices on a tall cup of coffee. Heading to $ 2 cups soon. Sucks. And they have messed up my order in the past. I wanted a fresher with one flavor and they gave me a completely different one. Weird.

Working in a very small space the team here does a great job. I am biased because this is my most convenient coffee joint. Nevertheless, I really do appreciate staff people who remember my name and what I like to drink and eat. Reading the other Unilocalers’ reviews, I’m not sure I’d try any complicated drinks here, but I’m quite content with my vente dark drip. It does seem like people have to wait a long time for their special drinks and they seem to get impatient. But there are lots of ever-so-trendy mumbling and demanding office workers with attitude patronizing this Starbucks who would be very tough customers for anyone to please. These folks do their best!

I rarely review places like Starbucks, because people are going to come to Starbucks even if there are bad reviews. But this Starbucks has let me down so often that I had to check in today and review it. Starbucks is so close to my workplace that I just keep stopping in in hopes that it will get better. It doesn’t. It routinely takes at least 15 – 20 minutes for me to get my drink because they have forgotten my order at least four times now. They routinely mess up my drink, and they always serve the drinks out of order. Some times I get my drink a minute after I order, and I’m surprised. Most of the time, I’m stuck watching everyone in the line behind me getting their drinks before me. The thing that bothers me the most is the attitude that they have. When they messed up my drink(I’m lactose intolerant, so I ordered my drink with soy, and they put regular milk in it.), the barista rolled her eyes, very loudly told me that I didn’t pay for soy milk, and when I told her that I did and showed her the proof, she sighed loudly, rolled her eyes again, and made me wait another five minutes for the drink that she messed up. I won’t be back here again. Before, it was tolerable when I needed a coffee kick, but I’ll be finding somewhere else to get coffee from now on.

This location is friendly, but they keep fudging my orders in the weirdest possible ways. Two weeks ago, I ordered a venti iced coffee. That somehow transformed into some complicated iced americano monstrosity; I’d have thought it was somebody else’s order entirely, but i was the only customer in the store at the time. Today, I ordered a venti caramel Frappucino with an extra shot. That somehow became so voluminous it spilled over into an extra tall cup, and it tastes incredibly intense. I think they managed to turn the total number of shots I should have got(four for a venti Frappucino + one extra) into the number of EXTRA shots, and increased other ingredients somewhat proportionally. Much as I like the staffers here, I think I’ll go to a location that doesn’t involve so much adventure from now on!

Generally I don’t have complaints about sbux but today I received a latte that had over an inch and a half of room. WTF. I’ve been a loyal customer for at least the past 5 years and my drink today was completely unacceptable. I really should have told the guy who made my drink that it wasn’t even close to being full but didn’t want to call him out in public. Being that 99% of the time I order the same drink: grande toffee nut latte, I know the weighed balance of a properly filled drink. I’m disappointed but will apparently have to start asking for my lattes with no room and no foam. Outside of this incident, which I hope will never happen again, I will continue going here… that is unless they open a Philz coffee… Pic of my disappointingly under-filled latte uploaded for you all to share in my grief.

This has to be the best Starbucks ever — I go almost everyday before work. Ashley and her team remember your name, remember your drink, and will make you smile every morning! The only way it could be better is if it was a little bigger, and if they served breakfast sandwiches/wraps.

Light mocha coconut! I’m usually not a big coffee drinker but if I have a long day ahead of me or just need a morning boost of energy, I head to the nearest coffee shop along my route. This Starbucks just happens to be it. Pretty friendly staff, convenient to transbay terminal, which I use to get to work and back and the drinks made just the way i like them, despite some long lines during certain hours.

Hopped in around 2:30p for a mid-day coffee fix and was excited to see how fast the service was. My mocha was well made and the place wasn’t busy. This specific location is tiny and thin, not a place to lounge around, but rather you get in and you get out!

Much tables to sit at, cheerful employees. I went in with a group of friends, around 730PM. Had Hot Chocolate, could have been sweeter but probably better for myself that it was less sweet. Only inconvenience was that their bathroom was closed, due to cleaning, for the whole time we were there. I haven’t worked at a Starbucks before, but I wondered at how long it takes to ‘clean’ a bathroom. Perhaps it was maintenance, but if it was, it would have helped for them to clarify that it was for that, not for cleaning :). But overall, we had fun! The location was right across Hyatt hotel, so we just went there to use the restrooms. :)

3.5 stars. I can’t find my usual Starbucks(located inside the Spear Tower) on Unilocal,so I decided to review another location that I have also been to quite frequently. The thing about Starbucks in San Francisco is this: they will almost always serve you faster than any Starbucks in Northern California. After getting used to this fact, it has been terrible going to any other Starbucks Coffee outside of the Financial District. The service gets 5 stars, but like most Starbucks in FiDi, it’s usually packed in the morning(7−9am) and during the afternoon slump(2−3pm). However, because of the quick service time, I usually get in and out of there with my usual drink within 5 – 10 minutes. This isn’t a place to get the best of coffee, such as that of the Blue Bottle Coffee Company(Ferry Building), but for convenience, price, and service, this specific Starbucks gets a little above 3-stars.

I love how they remember customers’ names! It’s so personal at this Starbucks and they are really efficient with orders and getting things moving(morning work-rush line looks intimidating but it goes by really fast) Excellent customer service and conveniently located near my work. It’s just really small… there’s another one on Howard and Spear if you need more space… but I doubt they remember names.
