#3 of 100 reviews challenge 2016 Pretty standard Starbucks so you know what to expect, however I used to come here when my business’ Internet was down. However my laptop needs to be plugged in and on my recent trip here with my colleague, we discovered they covered up all their power outlets. I need juice! Why that changed, I don’t know. But bring it back, please! I’ll buy a soy vanilla latte from ya folks.

Talk about customer service — this Starbucks has got it goin’ on. I was staying at Hotel Whitcomb for three days and this Starbucks kept my mornings energized with my daily order of a latte and cheese danish. The first morning, the line was extremely long, but the staff was working hard to keep the orders coming. While it took a good amount of time, my danish was heated to perfection and I had no problems with my latte. Same deal the second morning, except the line was much, much shorter. The order arrived within 75 seconds and once again, no complaints from my end. This is a great Starbucks location!

Seriously I don’t write too many bad reviews but come on. The staff really not interested to help first of all. I came here to work on my lap top and literally tried every power strip to plug my computer in and after trying about 7 I asked a person working if they worked and he said maybe 1 or 2. And walked away so I said ok I will find the one! None work just FYI so I asked if I could use a connection for my phone and of course, silly me! Those don’t work either and she laughed when I asked for one. Didn’t even get a chance to order my drink before getting annoyed and leaving. Not petty just irritated when I walk into a nice looking Starbucks I want to be able to vibe out and sip on my coffee and work.

This is my first ever review because I just had to say something. The glass case where all of the sweet breads are kept was filled with flies and gnats! I told the employee and she ignored me. BEWARE!

Hey y’all: I was here again several times this year and if anything the staff has MORE to put up with(more menu choices) and a huge flood of people desperate for decent coffee in a really crappy neighborhood. WENEEDYOU! Do managers read this? I spoke to at least one lead or supervisor… Anyways, listen, you guys do a stellar job all things considered; A+ customer service and thanks for your patience. I know that job ain’t easy. Coffee was quick, accurate, and fresh. And people did try to fill my special requests. Maybe it helps that I’m also polite. Bless, y’all!

There is on employee who I can’t stand! I’ve been there a few times his name is Andrew or Andres i can’t remember but he has got to be the WORST employee any Starbucks employer could hire. Extremely rude and disrespectful. He doesn’t take his job seriously. I don’t understand how a jackass like that could be hired he needs to be fired

I have been to this Starbucks a few times before and only purchased regular black coffees — this time around I splurged for a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I don’t visit Starbucks very often for«fancy coffee», so when I do it’s considered a treat for me. The latte was terrible; unfortunately I hadn’t taken a sip until I arrived at my office, about a ¼ of a mile away. If I had tasted it while I was at the store, I would have returned it for a plain coffee. It tasted like sugary milk, was barely warm, and lacked any type of espresso flavor. It didn’t really taste like the pumpkin spice latte’s of the past… I could barely drink it. Even the addition of some strong filtered coffee at my office couldn’t save it. From now on I’ll get my «fancy coffee» fix elsewhere, and only stick to black filtered coffee at Starbucks.

It’s Starbucks, the staff is everything aside from the drinks. The staff are almost always awesome. Friendly and so complying! I work like 1 block away from this location, and this is me and my coworkers’ go to Starbucks. Went in here wanting to try one of those secret item drinks– but was hesitated to ask the barista to make it– but the girl(whose name i forgot to get) was so sweet and complying about it, didn’t make it complicated nor gave me a hard time, and i just handed over my phone to show her the recipe, ordered, paid, and got my drink! Tip: stick to the original items, haha at least from my experience, the secret item menus are eh. lol BTW, i had the thin mint chocolate chip frap.

I’m a big fan. The line can be terrible in the morning– but hey, it IS starbucks in SF before 10 am. There’s going to be a big line just about everywhere. Even so, the staff is friendly and remember my drink. The redesign of the store makes much more sense and has a better airy feel to it.

So as an aficionado of all things Starbuck in SF and the Peninsula, I want to say that tonight I met the winner of the World’s Worst Barista award. The fat guy with the bad complexion at Fox Plaza. Distracted, rude, arguing with the customer about how he made my drink, clearly unhappy working there, generally nasty. Ugh.

Convenient location, newly renovated and wireless cell phone charging. Plenty of single stools to do work over free WiFi. This place rocks.

C’mon, let’s face it – no matter big of a coffee connoisseur you are, you know life would not be the same without Starbucks. And you know that the coffee game would not be the same regardless. And really, if you’re anywhere in the world and there no Starbucks wishing a 1 mile radius, you probably shouldn’t be hanging out there– especially at night. I frequent this location pretty often. It’s close to my work. I mean, a girl’s gotta caffeinate. They staff here is super friendly. They recently remodeled it so the interior space really opened up – tall glass wall lined with countertop seating and two large communal tables inside. It’s clean, rustic, and overall has a great coffee shop vibe to it. My drink of choice: Tall Blonde w/a splash of cold Soy.

Shout-out to this Starbucks for having free wireless charging stations. We live in the future. Also featuring nice employees who kindly cleaned up after me when I knocked an entire latte on the floor, and a clean bathroom. High marks all around.

I never review SBUX but this requires it. This location recently underwent a physical renovation(perhaps due to its proximity to Square, Twitter, and Über HQs). The location is understaffed; the AM service is grumpy. Attached is a photo of my drink: my name is Tim(not Brady). I wasn’t even asked for my name, so this is a head scratcher. It sat on the counter as I stared at it cooling – no one called the drink out, and it was mislabeled so I had to pick it up, remove the sleeve, check the contents, and ask. Oh, and it wasn’t great when I had it. Mistakes happen, but I watched a barista grunt at 3 different people in a row(including me). One had paid for an extra shot in a Frap. Barista told the order cashier, «Oh, that’s what you said. We don’t use the word ‘affogato’ here.» So you’ve just revealed how much of an assembly line system you use, and you were rude to the customer, who was polite. Fail.

The branch of Starbucks that I visit the most since it is in my apartment building. The decoration and the ambience is much better after the renovation. The same nice staff members that recognize regular customers most of the time. My favourite barista is Zayra; she always remembers my regular drink and its customisation. There is usually a long line in the morning but it moves pretty quick. Staffs are very efficient and friendly. One of the best branches in the city, me says.

Every morning, before going to work, i would stop by and buy my coffee here. But the Guy with the eyeglasses is simply RUDE!.. I was just asking for the name of the coffee that it might be available but he answered me «Only on Thanksgiving!, REMEMBER?»(in a rude way) then tapping the cashier’s elbow. People go here because of the Name. So next time, if he’s there, I will not buy a coffee. Fortunately, there’s another one café just within that building.

Absolutely one of the slowest Starbucks in the city and no matter what time of day there will be a line. Veryyyy unfortunate considering it is across the street from my apartment building. Would love to see some change!
