I am absolutely in like with their house chips and could eat them all day, but there are days like yesterday that they were pretty stale. I buy these chips 2 bags at a time, so that kinda bummed me out that the batch I got were all pretty stale… Although I gotta admit, when they get it right, and it’s just the right crisp, it’s amazing! Like I’ve said in my tips before, I’m pretty sure they were sprinkled with sea salt and a little crack. The staff seems pretty cool too. quick, personable and over all, this is one of my fave spots to get a quick lunch. This location gets pretty hectic at lunch, so make sure to download GOPAGO and order from your phone and all you’ll need to do is pick up your order in less than you can GOPAGO… ;P Make sure to try their mac & cheese, meat loaf sandwhich, and of course their CHIPS! ;P

I have to admit, the sandwich I got from here wasn’t bad. I got the seasonal jalapeño chicken rock n roll and it was really delicious. the roll was soft, the chicken was freshly cooked, and the seasoning was ok though a little bland. given that it was a jalapeño sandwich, I expected spicy and flavorful, but it was not so. i added some dijon mustard and that made the sandwich really tasty, but on its own it was only ok. service was ok and its kind of expensive for what you get. there are way better lunch places downtown so i don’t think i’ll be coming back here.

I went here for lunch — and torn between 3 and 4 stars. Because of the convenience factor in the FiDi, it’s getting pushed to 4 — but not by much. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork and it was pretty good — the roll it was on was so-so — if it was better, I think it would have comfortably pulled this to a 4 star. The Plant café is right across the street, and it seems that Sellers may have lost quite a bit of business to its other organic competitor. The Plant is pretty good…

Agh. This place is awful. Okay, you know those restaurants with the average review score? The ones where, even after reading a few horrible 1 – 2 star reviews, you get curious and decide to try it? Sellers Market is one of those places, and, unfortunately, I’m one of those curious people. If you want a heaping helping of horrible with a side of sorrow, this is the place to go. I got a Cobb salad, and it was a travesty. It had the thrown-together, wilted taste of a homemade salad fished out of the remains of your vegetable drawer. They charged $ 2 for avocado while most places include it for free, and there was absolutely NO bacon, which ALWAYS comes in a Cobb. It looked bad, tasted worse, and could barely even be called a Cobb. The cost for this vile excuse of a salad? FOURTEENDOLLARS. Are they INSANE? This place is a wretched, pathetic rip-off, and I dearly hope that you, dear reader, never have to suffer within its walls. Avoid this place. Avoid it like you’d avoid a closet full of spiders.

Been coming here 6 years and have been a bit afraid of the Manager Daryl there. He’s one of those that you hope doesn’t take your order when it’s a stressful day for them as I’m sure it is in the financial district. Today he issued my credit for my cobb salad that tasted like earth.(It’s the first lunch I’ve returned in 6 years, but he treated me like I was some ghetto street kid asking for my money back). He also reprimanded his staff for offering me something on the house by exclaiming in front of a line of customers, «so we gave her her money back and something on the house!?» I put the sandwich back because I didn’t even ask for it. I won’t be coming back and I’m taking all the catering business and«recommendations» I’ve given this location(I’m in the 18 floor building across the street).

Had a breakfast burrito here with their salsa. Good salsa, less-than-amazing burrito, but I’d imagine that’s because it’s made with decent ingredients(organic and local for as much as they can manage) and in a more healthy manner(less grease, perhaps). I enjoyed it so much that I went back thrice while I visited SF. Friendly staff. $ 5.50 for real morning nutrition rather than the coffee I had for breakfast at the same price during the rest of the week. Not the fastest place, but if you’ve got a minute it’s great!

First time coming here… and I found out about this place from coworkers since they order from here for meetings… NOTBAD! Typical price for the soma/financial district area… I had a veggie melt and it was yummy! Im slowly trying to turn into a vegetarian and finding new foods to eat(which can get hard at times.). Service was cool but waiting for my food was annoying. Took about 10 min to get my food which kind of was a bummer but I guess they were busy. *shrugs*. Their pesto pasta salad was yummmmmmmy

This review is strictly for the breakfast burrito. I’ve heard many good things about their breakfast burrito, so I decided to check it out. The workers there are pretty friendly. They like to make conversation with every person, so the service can be slow. But, hey, I’m not going to ding them on that. I was looking at the menu, and it appears that you can construct your own burrito or get the Seller’s Breakfast Burrito. I didn’t want to choose, and I also wanted to see what they hype was, so I decided to get the Seller’s Breakfast Burrito. I get back to my desk, smother my burrito with lots of their salsa, take a bite and??? It was really bland. I packed on as much salsa I can onto the next bite, and!!! It was still bland. I looked into my burrito to see that the whole thing was filled with bland scrambled eggs with some bits of potatoes. But, I decided to keep eating to find a piece of the homemade chorizo. At this point I switched over to ketchup since the salsa was really bland. After a couple bites, I find a piece of the chorizo, I eat it, andddddd!!! It was bland. Perhaps they just forgot the seasoning that day? But, basically I paid $ 5.50 for ketchup and bland scrambled eggs wrapped in a tortilla. Not worth it… I might be back for lunch, but their menu is pricey… Might be a while until I decide to spend a lot of money for bland food again.

DONOTGOHERE. PLEASESPENDYOUR $$$ ELSEWHERE. I’m new to SF and I work in the financial district. I wanted to try something new besides where I usually go for my lunch spots. So I checked this place out because the ads look so appeasing. I got a soup/salad combo(vegan butternut squash and chicken Caesar salad). HORRIBLE. The soup tasted like baby food. I was utterly confused. Normally i love squash soup but really? So I figured fine, I’ll just eat my salad. Um where was the Caesar dressing? I’m still looking for it. Thanks for the dry, bland salad! Just don’t go here.

This place suuuuuuucks and WAY overpriced. This review is also based on my last 2 visits, both of which were major disappointments. No idea what happened to the management of this place but the quality of food took a nose dive in past 6 months. First time, had the jalapeño chicken sandwich. This sandwich was tiny, flat, and crunchy rock solid. For $ 7 it was not tasty and hard to bite into. I was so disappointed that I called them up to tell them that they should probably work on the sandwich. Today, I went back and found that they no longer have their pesto chicken sandwich and salad combo. Why??? I ordered the goat cheese salad with chicken and paid a whopping $ 12+ for it!!! By the time I mixed the salad, it could well fit into a regular sized rice bowl, and the salad was drrrrry and not good at all. wtf… for $ 9 I could’ve gotten a delicious and hearty salad from Mixxt Greens. These guys also threw in a sugar cookie but I wish they didn’t… tried a bit of it and the whole thing went straight into the trash. fml… Seriously… think about it… for $ 12, I expect a damn good takeout salad. wtf is wrong with this place… I want my money back!!!

I’m sorry, but when your website tells me that the sandwich I’m requesting is «Made fresh to order», DON’T effing tell me that they’re pre-made and sitting in your refrigerated display. For the prices this place charges, I should be getting service with a smile, and a MADETOORDERSANDWICH, DAMNIT. Not a bad attitude from some silly tatted-up girl with facial piercings. Seller’s Market should probably reconsider their personnel choices. The only reason for the second star is because the mac-n-cheese I got was halfway decent.

A solid lunch spot for people working in the FiDi. I visited my friend for lunch and he took me here. We split the Meatloaf sandwich and both came out feeling satisfied. Unfortunately they ran out of their focaccia bread so we ended up getting the sourdough bread. The sandwich was delicious, with a tangy BBQ sauce and perfectly melted cheese. It also came with a side of Caesar salad. At around $ 9, it’s a decent price for a solid lunch. I think they also offer a frequent buyer card.

I tried to like this place. It’s hip. The lines are long. Surely it can’t be bad — it’s organic! Well, it is not bad. However, it is not stellar either. Admittedly, I have not tried everything they have in the menu. I tried the seasonal crab rock and roll sandwich and the bbq pork sandwich so far. Too much butter in the crab and very dry pork. I will give it another try, though. Kobe Burger, next!

I have had their salads and sandwiches several times and I have also had their hot food at work via their catering business. Most recently I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with their home made potatoes chips which was absolutely delicious. Mmm, Mmm good. I have also had their pesto chicken sandwich on Focaccia, which happened to be way too salty for me. The bread itself actually seemed to be the salty part of the sandwich which just completely turned me off. Their muffins and pastries are sinfully good. Which is bad for a fat girl, but good for skinny people. Enjoy! If you go around lunch time, get their early to get a set an avoid a long wait. Even without a crowd, you’ll wait for a bit longer than you would at your average sandwich joint. Get the pulled pork. Really.

Overrated. It’s just a house salad and a panini no matter how you cut it. I’d rather spend my bucks in a hole-in-the wall, but they ARE very consistent if you know what you like. Fine, I enjoy the grilled cheese. I think its overrated and a little expensive, but if you’re looking for a salad around this area, its either going to be Sellers, Specialties, Freshii, or plant. Take your pick… only in the financial district can they get away with charging $ 10 for leaves.

Sellers Market, You mispronounce my name every time my order is ready. But it’s okay though. I forgive you. Why you’re awesome: — A bit of everything. Thin crust gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, salads — even noodles in a box! — Green, organic business practices. 90% of their food is grown at local, organic farms(i.e. Niman Ranch grass-fed beef). — Communal seating. It’s like an indoor picnic table shared by random strangers. But don’t worry, they’re generally too enthralled in their iPhones or gabbing with coworkers for it to be awkward. — Magazines and newspapers on the tables. A good distraction if you’re eating alone and don’t want to pretend to be on your smartphone in order to avoid eye contact with the lady eating her cobb salad in front of you. — Music. Where else can you rock to Chaka Khan, Marc Anthony and Journey in the time it takes to finish your margherita and side salad? I may have to start giving you a phony American-sounding name just so we can have better working relationship. P. S. Thanks for the new happy hour! . You know just what I like. Peace out, Mariela

This place is pricey so I don’t come all that often. Still, I always get a side of their Macaroni & Cheese. While not every batch is spectacular, this dish of cheesy goodness is always pretty solid. I also very much enjoy their Buffalo Chicken sandwich and their Meatloaf sandwich. Still, price is pretty high in my opinion…

Seller’s market is really good. The quality of the food is good and they are definitely fast so you can get your lunch and eat it within your lunch hour. Even when it looks packed, they’re pretty efficient. The staff is really friendly. I have to say, its on the pricier side of $ 10 for a sandwich, but you definitely get what you pay for(fresh, organic ingredients) and it is San Francisco. I’d give it two thumbs up!

Well, guess what? I still love my Seller’s Market. I have a big ol’ crush on good tasting healthy food. Tastes so good, it should really be bad for you. When our clients want fresh healthy options, I order from Seller’s Market. I order the box lunches with hot or cold sandwiches, side salads or soups, cookies or cupcakes.(Warning: The cupcakes are freaking AWESOME) Our clients usually request Seller’s now. So today I scored a FREE lunch! I used my frequent buyers card and after your 7th lunch — you get a FREE lunch up to $ 10.00. I got a toasted turkey club with applewood smoked bacon, ceasar salad on the side. My other favorites include: Shaking Beef Phuket Box, Hot! Ham and Cheese Sandwich, BBQ Chicken Sliders, Macaroni & Cheese with Point Reyes Blue Cheese, Creamy Tomato soup or Vegan Lentil, the Seasonal Pizzas and last but not least the yummy big cookies, brownies and cupcakes. With all those favorites, my frequent buyers card comes in handy!
