They put half a cup of water in my oatmeal. I wanted oatmeal, not soup. The coffee is probably fine, but the oatmeal… Don’t get the oatmeal.

The hot coffee served is cold. They don’t have an oven so they can’t heat any bakery items. It’s the worst coffee at the airport.

Terrible coffee. I actually took it back. It’s 4:45am so definitely fresh but sour and bitter and gritty and gross. Credit card machines are down. I give them three stars because staff are friendly and quickly made me an Americano to replace my bad cup of drip. It wasn’t great, but at least drinkable. Also, they have almond milk like all the other Peets(not guaranteed in an airport!) though it’s not chilled.

In general, peet’s café is pricier than regular local coffee shops(of course), the coffee of the day is the regular America roast coffee, nothing special about it and it was slightly bitter than I expected. It was 2.50 for a small. The best one we tried was the maple coffee, the sweet taste of the maple made it worthy spending. The ice freeze coffee, which they called freedos, was plain and the most expensive on the menu. I don’t recommend this. This location is inside the airport so you should not expect the services to be good anyway, just a layaway for me, and this was my first(and probably the last) peet’s coffee for me.

This is a franchise location. Quality of drinks here are inferior to the company owned operated locations.

Coffer dark roast large. Plus a donut. At 8:30 pm… donut was dry and stale, coffee was old and stale… I usually love Pete’s, but not at SFO… ugghhh $ 6.50 wasted.

This Peet’s coffee is bad news. It’s hard because there are few choices in the terminal for southwest. But don’t give them your business. They are sooo mean to all their customers! Every single one! The apples on display are rotten– visibly rotten. There is no seating and the drinks are terrible. I tried this place three times and I am throwing in the towel. Boo Peet’s!

One of the cheapest and quickest options on the Southwest terminal. I should’ve known better and just picked something up in the city before heading to the airport but given very few other options, this seemed like the best bet. My sandwich and banana were overpriced, as expected, but relatively solid options given the area.

Typical early morning rush at this airport location. I can live with that. Multiple counters to order drinks and pay at causing confusion. I can live with that. Staff that won’t make eye contact and beckons you to approach from line as if they are giving out free handouts to beggars. I can’t live with that. The guy at the counter would not look at the customers; no greeting and no acknowledgement of our existence. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth even though the muffin and coffee were not bad. You can do better Pete’s!

Good choice for a sandwich to take on a long flight. Coffee is quite good too.

The Peet’s Coffee & Tea was one of a few places that were open in Terminal 1 at SFO when I was there late night a few days ago. The prices are seriously gouging. I paid about $ 10 for a salad that consisted of iceberg, bacon, tomatoes, chicken, and dressing. Then paid another $ 2 for a banana(for my long plane ride). I should’ve just gotten something in the City on my way to the BART! I do like Peet’s Coffee for their actual coffee — you can’t get this stuff everywhere! If the prices weren’t so gouging at the airport, I’d be more likely to eat/drink here again in the future.

Airport locations usually don’t have a great selection of drinks or baked goods and this is one of them that holds true to this standard. I was annoyed that they didn’t accept Peet’s gift cards(shouldn’t all outlets of a franchise accept them?). Maybe there is an exception because this is an airport location?

It’s an airport location, so I expect it to not be as good as a normal Peet’s. It was fine, but my expectation was correct. It wasn’t NASTY like some other reviewers thought it was though. I was disappointed that they do not accept Peet’s gift cards at airport locations and that the line was obnoxiously long since it was the weekend before Christmas. The prices were definitely airport-prices. I think the yogurt parfait was $ 6! That’s outrageous, but most people are probably too rushed to care too much about the prices. It would have been nice if they had more registers or a more effective cashier system. I was only purchasing prepared food items and bottled beverages so it would have been nice if they had a line for people not ordering custom coffee drinks. I was still glad to have Peet’s as an option in the airport terminal though, especially since the other places in this terminal are similarly mediocre.

I have a built in bias for Peet’s Coffee! I went to school in Berkeley and used to pilgrimage to the original Peet’s for a cup of Joe that never disappointed! And when I wasn’t at that location, I’d make my way to Fat Apples(Another Berkeley institution) and have a cup with their awesome serving of breakfast. Peet’s has flavor! Peet’s have aroma! Peet’s doesn’t taste burnt like Starbucks! So, a great way to start the day is filling my cup with Peet’s be it the airport, at home, or anywhere else!

Rushed for coffee as it was way too early for me to be at SFO. Found Peet’s all the way by my gate and it was PACKED. At 7:00AM, everyone needed their dose of caffeine or a quick pastry to go. I waited at least 10 minutes for my vanilla latte and it being so close to the gate, there is so much foot traffic as well. Wish they had more baristas to take care of the drinks, but it definitley got me up for my morning flight!

I usually write reviews in chronological order but I can’t resist the new mobile feature so I am moving this review up the queue. I am on my way to Seattle for work and that meant getting to SFO at the crack of dawn. Having never been to Terminal 1 before, I was pleasantly greeted by the smell of caffeine as soon as I got past security. That’s always a good sign. Located near the back of the terminal, this location is smaller in comparison to the one in Terminal 2. The coffee and food are no different than that offered at other Peet’s locations. The prices are inflated as usual(by about $ 2). What I did like was the«order while in line» feature they have. I have seen this at Starbucks in NYC before but this is a first in California for me. The pre-ordering really helped move the line along; by the time I got to the front of the line, my order was ready. My wait at the boarding gate is pleasant as it is aided by an iced coffee and a raspberry scone. Now lets hope the flight will be a breeze.

The only time I walk away happy from this particular Peet’s it when I order a black coffee… The person that usually works there seems to be filled with hate or ennui, hard to tell which.

It’s 7AM before a long flight so I got a coffee and a cinnamon roll. The coffee tastes horrible & the cinnamon roll tastes weird. It tastes weird and its hard. I don’t know how something could already be stale this morning so it makes me think they were left over from last night. I will definitely remember this Peet’s experience and try for a different spot whenever possible.

Mocha tastes like crap. No chocolate taste or coffee taste… What the hell did I just order? Because I just got the mocha, I can only rate the mocha… which tasted like crap. That’s all there really is to it. It tasted more like a hot chocolate than a mocha. This coffee really makes Peet’s have a bad name because I have had Peet’s at other places and it’s always so much better than this one. Shame on you SFO… Shame on you…

I felt like I was cheating on my Starbucks spouse while I was at the SFO. However, I needed my caffeine fix and my old standby luver Starbucks was no where to be found. Threrefore, I ordered my iced non-fat latte with 3 splendas from the Peet’s friendly server. My afternoon picker-upper drink was delivered to me in an unfamiliar container which felt odd. I took my first sip and it was purty good. Peet may be a new friend… are we talking 3-some? It’s not my fault … I get my caffeine fix wherever it’s available, lol My first Peet’s experience earns 3 Stars!
