I have pondered for several years to write this review, but after reading Sue W. and Nikole T, I could not refrain from sharing my experience with Douglas and Nancy Ousterhout. Let me first say that he is a snake in sheep’s clothing. After successfully listing and selling a second home he owned in Pacific Heights when a previous agent failed, I spent endless hours and days of my valuable time researching and previewing properties for he and his wife, Nancy to 1031 Exchange into, in Healdsburg. As luck would have it(for he and Nancy that is), the very first property that we previewed with the listing agent(another well know agent/snake) ended up being the deal of the century for the Ousterhouts. Both he and Nancy, behind my back, went straight to the Sellers Agent and purchased the several million dollar home without my knowledge, taking advantage of the fact that I was a fairly new agent. If you ever think that loyalty exists between you and your client, THINKAGAIN! If you are a RE Broker/Agent, DONOT ever work with a client without a signed Buyers Agent Agreement. Loyalty is something that exists in dreams and clouds. So THINKAGAIN before you spend ONEMINUTE working with someone who you ‘think’ is loyal and ethical. The Ousterhout winery/vineyard would not exist today had I not been the green agent who ‘thought’ I was working for two ethical and loyal people. Goes to show that greed is not a financial issue. It’s a heart issue. Douglas and Nancy lack both. Hope your winery is doing well and that success and happiness bring you lifelong memories.

Contrary to my original belief, Dr Ousterhout not only lacks skill, but also his age now makes him senile and a terrible surgeon. I read online that he was experienced with facial feminization surgery, so I assumed that he would be a very good surgeon. I had originally come to him for genioplasty, rhinoplasty, and to fix my crooked mouth, and the results I left with were terrible. My mouth had been off-center due to a previous surgery, and when he fixed my chin, he positioned it using my mouth as reference instead of the center of my face. This led me to have a very crooked chin, and since he placed it off-center, there is a huge dent on the right side of my chin as well. My right bottom lip was lower than the left, so prior to the surgery, he had told me that he would bring it up to even things out. However, the end result was that he brought up my left lower lip, making my mouth look worse than before. His skill as a surgeon is suspect as well, as for my rhinoplasty he had removed a piece of bone from my skull to bring up my bridge. My bridge right now is incredibly narrow, and the screws he put on the side make very visible bumps. The bone graft on my nose is not connected properly, the nose is off center, and I’m left with a very large bald spot on my scalp. Please think twice before choosing him as your surgeon!

Went to get a consult from him once, after quoting me a $ 40,000 price, I was accused of stealing their iPad after I left in tears. Turns out someone on their staff had misplaced it. Needless to say I won’t be recommending him to anyone. Oh, and his staff is extremely condescending and rude. It was a terrible experience, and I would never go again.

Douglas Ousterhout is truly a world-class surgeon, artist, savior and wonderful man. Patients come from around the world to see him, twice! Having had extensive plastic surgery from him over the past half-dozen years, I can attest to the difference between looking better and looking fantastic. Whatever your particular need, give Mira a call and see about scheduling an appointment with Dr. O. Look what he did for me!(I’m 55 years old!)
