Inner Image

I am a personal shopper/​image consultant in the Bay Area. One of my clients referred me to Jennifer Constantine. My client’s skin looked amazing. I’d had a consultation with Jennifer years ago. I was turned off by her aggressiveness at the time. She insisted that I buy and use 10 products morning and evening on my face. This was just flat out unrealistic for me. I don’t have the time or patience to have a lengthy routine twice a day. Anyway, she said the other treatments would only do do much good if I wasn’t following her whole program. I was discouraged so never followed up. however, after seeing my client look so damn good, I thought, let’s give her another chance.
Well…you already know the result was not good. I should have trusted my initial instincts. I went in for another consultation. She presented me with several treatment options. The whole package would have been 15−20K. I asked what could get me the best result in the least amount of time. She said facial sculpting. Basically, this was multiple tubes of filler. The sculpting part made me think it was going to be strategically placed to address my issues. Unfortunately, it was not. Strangely, she used 6 full syringes on me. Initially, i got very bruised and swollen. Once that all cleared up, I have been left with this odd cheeky look to my face. The objective was to lift my sagging jowls, but they are still exactly the same. I just look like a chipmunk storing nuts in my cheeks for the winter.
I wanted to see my results objectively so I asked for before and after photos. The before photos were taken just fine. When I requested the «after» photo, I could tell the request itself put the office on edge. They were annoyed that I expected a result so early. Yet, I was out 5K and had an expectation that there would be some improvement. I didn’t think it was unreasonable.
The nurse took me back to do the post-​treatment photos. She was the same person who took the before shots, but on this day, she couldn’t figure out how to use the camera. She kept retaking them over and over. She made reference to the camera not working right. She also asked the receptionist for advice. I sat there for 30 torturous minutes while they all made it clear that I was putting them out. I would think as a cosmetic treatment center, they would have lots of requests for before and after photos. In fact, I recall Jennifer showing me photo books of all her success stories during my initial consult. I am not sure why this so much trouble this time around.
When I saw the photos finally, it was obvious, there was no improvement to areas we were suppose to be treating. Jennifer made it clear that she was very frustrated with me at this point. She said that all of this stuff was suppose to take time and many sessions and lots of layering. I just wanted a little positive result to help me feel confident about dropping more thousands of dollars. Needless to say, I wasn’t reassured.
I went home and thought about the whole thing. I was really uncomfortable, upset and disappointed with the whole experience. I wrote Jennifer a detailed email expressing all of my concerns. I waited and waited and waited. No response… at all! I was shocked! I have NEVER dealt with someone in this sort of position who was that unprofessional. I am a female business owner myself. I cannot imagine ignoring a client who had specific concerns about my services. It’s inconceivable to me.
It’s been a couple months since this all happened. I still feel ripped off and disturbed by the whole thing. Jen Constantine clearly isn’t going to make this right, but it makes me feel a little better if I can prevent someone else putting themselves in her hands.

Wow! The apparent word around our social circle is that InnerIMage is the best around and I must say from my limited experience, it seems to be true. Seriously, I was skeptic but my wife got a few treatments there six months ago and the results were frankly astounding– waaay better than the place where she had gone previously and waaaay way way better than her friends who have gotten plastic surgery — I have begged my wife never to get plastic surgery. The beauty of Innner Image is that the changes seemed very natural and occurred over a few months, unlike the previous places she had been where it was so obvious she had gotten botox that i was frankly concerned to be in public with her.
That said, I would have never considered this route for myself before, but my wife convinced me to just meet with Jen Constantin to discuss it. Long story short — I am extremely pleased I did. — three months after treatment, my wife swears I look ten years younger. It’s true, but the funny thing is that everything so natural no one really noticed the transition — I just get complements that I look great or happy. Even my mom just asked if I had been getting more exercise.
I have to say, I rarely write a review — I generally either have to love something or really hate it. InnerImage is simply a service that needs to be recognized for the great work they do. In this case, my wife pointed out that there was a one star review on here and I really think that is unjust — so I wanted to counter and point out that my wife and I shared the same experience. Everyone there was extremely respectful, sensitive to our needs and concerns, especially for me as a man. Most importantly, their approach of going for the most natural look and ‘evolving your youth’ is absolutely the right one, especially for me. I can’t be looking all banged up in the office from botox injections –they clearly understood this.
The fact is that these guys totally get ‘it’ and apparently, from looking around our age group in SF, other aesthetic medicine practices don’t — so many people look so plastic. I truly feel that we just simply look younger and healthier.
As far as the complainers on here, sure if you want to give them one star because you had nowhere to set your purse or that it was more than you wanted to pay, that is your prerogative, but if you want results, this is the place.

A friend referred me to Jennifer Constantine about 5 years ago. She is brilliant! She is always educated on the newest products/​procedures. She gives you her recommendation and then helps you decide the best course of action. There is always more that can be done, but she never pushes beyond what you’re willing to do. I love that.
I’ve even moved across the country since starting with Jennifer, but I still fly back to San Fran to see her at least once a year. She is the best at what she does… hands down!

I have been seeing Kelly for past 5 years now for facials and I can’t even think of going to someone else… She has immense knowledge about skin problems… as my skin is acne prone she has always provided effective treatments to make my skin look better.
The best thing I like about her is that she is thorough with her extractions. I have never found anyone who is even close to her. It makes a big difference to my skin as she takes all the bacteria out and that really calms my skin down.
I have been really really lucky to find her and I trust her blindly when it comes to my skin.

First time trying Dysport and I had the best experience here. She was amazing, very thorough and knowledgeable. The font office folks are super nice as well.

Skilled in the latest medical procedures for facial sculpting and with a keen artistic sensibility, Jennifer Constantin has taken me from haggard 60sumthin to a happily older woman. (The liquid face lift is the gold standard for non-​invasive, yet effective rejuvenation.) Jennifer is kind and refreshingly honest. If she doesn’t think you need anything done, she will send you home! I trust her opinion, truly value her expertise and highly recommend Inner Image.

I have nothing but good to say about Jennifer Constantin. I have been coming to her for Botox/​Dysport and facial fillers for about four years and she always gives me a refreshed look that is the exact opposite of the frozen, duck-​lips look that gets so much negative attention in the tabloid press. I am 45 and people always say I look about 30, and a good proportion of the credit goes to Jennifer for this. Her recommendations about procedures and products are well-​founded and have been spot-​on as far as I’m concerned. It might be possible to find a cheaper practice, but as with so much in life, you get what you pay for. Jennifer is hugely talented as well as being a really nice person.

I have been a client of Jennifer Constantine’s for two years. I am a breast cancer survivor. A few years after having a double mastectomy and reconstruction I developed keloid scar tissue. It was extremely problematic as it was not just unattractive but very painful. My recontruction surgeon, Dr. Laura Eskanazi, referred me to Jennifer explaining that she was the only one in northern California who could treat the keloid successfully. At every appoiintment Jennifer explained the techniques and the price of each one; always leaving me to decide whether to go ahead or not with the process.

Again, she took the time to explain all the products and the price of each one. I have to travel from the east bay to get to Inner Image but it is totally worth it to be able to be a client of Jennifer’s and know I am getting the best of care.

I’ge been a client of inner image for over 5 years and have more compliments on my skin than I can tell you. I’m 51 and look 35 according to friends and business partners. This area is Jennife’s domain and I go to her for her expertise and aesthetic talent. She gives you the options and her recommendation but I make the final decision. I’ve even seen the product reps get injections only from her because they know she kiss the best. Jennifer runs an excellent practice and I’m grateful that I found her. She has kept me looking my absolute best.
