Noe Valley Market is nameless.(actually it was whited over). found name on Unilocal check in. small grocery star. very small selection of beers, microbrews, none priced. buys: the club long island tea(200ml) 15% alc. 2.99 –sweet tasting –made with vodka, rum, gin, whisky, natural flavorings, and caramel coloring. caramel is a no go. wouldn’t rebuy. take outs: –friendly checkout, didn’t check groceries –beers anemic, unpriced.

It has the same or similar groceries, beer and sundries as any other corner store, but(1) it is less expensive than those on Market Street and(2) no two guys care about the neighborhood more than Jake and Les. The type of people who know everyone’s name and care about those around them. NOTE: In Duboce Triangle, not in Noe Valley.

Tiny little hole-in-the-wall corner market that’s a total throwback to the 50s. Narrow, tiny, harsh lighting, high prices, dust on some of the less popular items. Price tags attached by one of those plastic sticker guns from the 80s, clerk standing out front smoking until a customer forces him back inside behind the register. You get the idea.

Great neighborhood grocer with a nice wine selection too. When you need a grocery item, they are likely to have it — somehow they manage to fit it all into a small store. The owner, Jake, is a very nice guy(and friend to every dog in the neighborhood, too!) and the same goes for Les, who mans the store during evenings and weekends. Noe Grocery is a vital part of the neighborhood and I’m very glad they’re there.

Weird and quiet little joint. A couple different flavors of Anchor steam, but relative to other nearby places, the choices were uninspiring. The grocery/market items looked kinda old and sub-standard, not sure if there is a reason for me to go here again. Sorry dude, nice location though.

It’s a cute little liquor store in the finest of all San Francisco neighborhoods, Duboce Triangle. When I came in here last week, I smelled some strange liquor-store(coolant?) smell that I hadn’t smelled in a long time. It wasn’t overpowering, and it brought back fond memories, so that was exciting. The soda is fairly priced. The place is wheelchair inaccessible because of a needless front step.
