Just grabbed a Italian chicken panini sandwich with garlic bagel. Though there is no rush, the service is very slow. Its good in taste, still I felt it’s very normal for a weekday lunch option when compared to numerous other better options in financial district.

Annoying slow for how many employees they have here. The bagels are consistent, but the customer service here is below standard.

The food is fine; most Noah’s Bagels have decent bagels and this place is no exception. Especially commendable in my eyes is the large variety on offer and the ease of ordering. However, the folks who slice and pack larger orders clearly just do not care, nor does the management, seemingly. My company orders bagels for the office most Thursdays and they always come with about a quarter of the bagels sliced so badly the cut goes in on one edge and comes out the top or bottom. Sometimes it’s a crazy corkscrew. The amazing thing is that our guy who orders the bagel has tried calling the store about it and they’ve taken a note of it, yet still the bagels are as bad or worse than ever. He also requested that the savory bagels and sweeter bagels be packed in separate boxes so you don’t get garlic onion blueberry bagels. They take note of it in the order, but then we get the exact same thing every single time. I could imagine that special requests won’t always get honored, but this is kind of amazing. I don’t remember it being so bad when we started doing this a few months ago. Perhaps we offended them and they’re purposely giving us terribly-sliced bagels and making sure to put the onion bagels on top of the cinnamon raisin? Anyway, it’s clearly time to switch to some other vendor.

This place possibly has the worst customer service ever. There is never any consistency on how the store is run. One day theres 2 lines, one to order and one to pay. And other days there’s only one line to order and pay. Make up your mind! It’s either one line or two! Whatever is more efficient for you guys and the customers. The staff here is terrible. The people at the registers are somewhat nice but the people who are making the bagels are absolutely rude! I walked in on a Saturday morning before work around 8:45am. There were only 4 people ahead of me so I was able to put my order in pretty quick. I ordered around 8:55am and it was a pretty simple order. All I ordered was one asiago bagel with cream cheese. I waited and waited and WAITED. It was 9:20am and my order still wasn’t ready. When I asked the lady behind the counter if my order was almost ready, she looked at me and said, «Your order ain’t ready, okay!» with so much attitude! All I wanted was a bagel with cream cheese. It does not take 25 minutes to make it! I’d understand if the store was busy, BUT there were only 4 people ahead of me. And they all had small orders. And after she gave me attitude, I definitely asked for a refund. Instead of giving my refund, they just gave me a bagel. That certainly did not make up for their lack of customer service. The people that work here are so incompetent. They have absolutely no sense of what good customer service is. Not only are they rude to customers but they’re rude amongst coworkers. It’s like they purposely hire imbeciles to work here. This place deserves negative stars.

Gotta deduct a couple stars, the service lately has been terrible. It’s super slow and they aren’t that nice. It takes forever to order and then even longer to get your food. The manager spends so much time gabbing with people, it’s not that surprising. I often order delivery for work and I have started requesting delivery a half hour before I need them because you never know if they’ll show up on time. The bagels weren’t very fresh on my last two deliveries either. Not cool Noah’s!

This location of Noah’s is riidculous. Every time I come here I leave annoyed because it always takes forever to place an order or it takes forever to pay for your order. Why bother having two stations set up(one for ordering; one for payment) if there’s only one person behind the counter. It makes no sense. There’s one lady who takes your order and TAKES forever. She’s been there since I started my new job which placed me closer to this Noah’s location, and she still seems like it’s her first day… «where is the button for garlic and herb smear???». COMEON! This location is never staffed properly. I don’t get it. This is a location near the Ferry Building, in the Financial District! Wouldn’t it be wise to staff properly in the morning? Maybe everyone has already learned the lesson to stay away? I read through some of the reviews and I don’t understand how there aren’t more reviews about how slow the service is. I’ve come here more than a dozen times thinking it’ll get better, but it doesn’t. I’ve learned my lesson and I have yet to come back.

Great place to grab a quick bite for breakfast. Fresh pastries, bagels and coffee. I ordered a smoothie here on a Saturday morning around 9. They were busy and kept getting distracted by other customers to make my smoothie. After more than five minutes, I got the cashiers attention and he took care of the problem; he also gave me a free chocolate chip cookie for my trouble. Sweet!

Poppy seed bagel, double toasted with schmear. mmmm Only thing is that they don’t toast it enough when i ask for double toasted. I think they forget! Otherwise, great coupons if you sign up for emails!

Although I love Noah’s Bagels, I would avoid this location. After numerous visits, I learned that they only care about Catering(Esp, Friday). Therefore, they don’t have time to serve a customer in the store. Also, Please do not abusive to use $ 0.10 bag charge. I am completely fine if you have to give me a single bagel without a bag. If you can’t do it due to a heath code, that’s your convenience to use a bag, not me. Why I ordered a coffee here? I should walk toward Ferry Building’s ***‘s instead.

Noah’s charges more than the usual bagel and coffee place — almost 5 bucks for a bagel with cream cheese and a small coffee after tax — but I have to admit they’re consistently better than most other places. Even the shmears taste a little better. The«dark» coffee is burnt to hell in Peets/Bucks style but the Medium roast is pretty drinkable. So for the quality and considering it’s SF I guess it’s not bad. I haven’t visited here enough to comment much on the service, but on this most recent trip(a very non-busy weekend morning) some plus-size lady threw a tantrum for some reason when I walked in about how she shouldn’t have to work the register and stomped off to the back. That left me with a woman of the Latina persuasion who somehow got my name as «Me». That’s right up there with my favorite, when another one at Burger King entered my name as «Germy». Alright in a pinch for an affordable breakfast if you’re down near the Embarcadero(and are all Subway’d out), but it’s kind of a crap place to eat. Inside is a cramped space with hardly any seating and at the outside tables you get rushed by pigeons and beggars.

This is the worst Noah’s bagel I’ve been to mainly due to it’s sanitary practices. I normally cater from Noah’s and thought I’d try this location because I’m in between a few of them in the FiDi. Everything was ready for me when I arrived and the lady that rang me up was really friendly, however what I saw was appalling… 1. The lady behind the counter was filling an order and she dropped some bagels on top of the window counter. I’m not sure how clean that is, but she continued to put it in the box. She was also yelling some obscenities to herself like she was upset at a customer. She needed an attitude check because everyone was staring at her. 2. You can see the back room from the front. There were trays full of bagels on a cart from top to bottom(floor level). A worker was sweeping back there in the direction of the bagels creating a pile of dirt in front of the cart. I hate giving one star reviews, but I expect better from Noah’s. Please do something about this!

Though this was the cheapest I ate while staying in San Francisco last month — it was not necessarily my best experience. The person at the counter was being berated by a customer in front of me, which made my turn to get to my order very awkward. The counter woman was super rude to me and treated me like I was a child. She couldn’t seem to get my order right or understand me, and seemed like she was just super uncomfortable talking to me. They told me they didn’t serve fruit cups after«breakfast»(it was 9:30 am), although they were sitting right in front of me in a refrigerated case. There was a severe communication issue at hand, and it wasn’t a language barrier, I think I was being treated like dirt on purpose — or it felt like it. My order was then messed up by the cooks twice(ham on a veggie panini? really?). When I finally got my correct order, it was pretty good. I have to say I enjoy bagels(who doesn’t love a good carb?) and their selection is nice. It was great for a quick breakfast, but I wouldn’t become a regular. It is a very small store-front with a nice patio to sit on and enjoy the weather while you drink your(bland) coffee. Honestly, if the service wasn’t so bad, I would have enjoyed it better.

Came here for ½ off drinks after 3pm and also because of my BOGO coupon for salmon bagels. Very spacious with outside seating. Place looks clean and food looks fresh. Couple of items I tried in my last 3 visits: Nova Lox $ 7.99: This was reeeaaaaaaaaalllllly good. Probably because I love smoked salmon but like the cream cheese, capers, cucumbers, and tomatoes just made it taste so good! Small sandwich size for that price but the taste made up for it. This also comes with a side. Either chips, potato salad, or something I don’t remember. Chose the potato salad, it was a small scoop but it was good! Honey Smoked Salmon $ 7.99: The portion on this thing was HUGE! On the bagel we have cream cheese, salsa, capers, and LARGECHUNKSOFSALMON!!! Omg this was really filling. It’s not as good compared to the Nova but it was decent. Amazing how much salmon they can put on a bagel! Definitely worth the price! Also comes with a side. White Chocolate Mocha $ 3.79: I have had many White Choco Mochas at Starbucks, Peets, coffee shops, but this was by far the WORSE I’ve had. It didn’t taste like a mocha at all. It wasn’t even sweet. There was no whipped cream. Instead the guy poured what I think was milk foam on top.(Call me fat for wanting whipped cream but I think it could have used it) I think that made the drink worse because it didn’t even mixed well. No idea what I was even drinking. It was such a disaster. Strawberry Banana Smoothie $ 3.79: FYI it’s not really a smoothie. I was watching the barista make it and I have to say, it might have seemed unappetizing. Here goes. First, pour in what I think is banana juice. Next, add in Welch’s Strawberry Smoothie or whatever. Next, add in a few slices of banana. Now, BLENDDDD! Pour, and viola! I was very appalled by the process but I gave it a drink, it actually wasn’t so bad. I think the banana did the trick. Advice, if you want a real smoothie, go to Jamba Juice. Summary: Come here for the food not the drinks.

It is amazing? No. Do you know what you’re getting? Yes. Does the staff do service with a smile, and make me feel welcome? Yes. Is the staff spacey, and sometimes mess up orders? Yes. Is the store layout, with the two doors, silly? Yes. Does it ever have a line at lunch? No. Is it fast, and fairly tasty? Yes. Do their breakfast boxes of bagels for the office make everyone happy? Yes. Are they easy to deal with /do business with? Yes. Reasonably priced? Yes. I’m debating giving it three or four stars, so am leaving it at three for now, but it’s more like 3.5. I recommend the lox & cream cheese sandwich on a toasted onion bagel, with everyone on it but the tomato, with the side cole slaw.

I always walk by Noah’s Bagels since I walk from embarcadero bart to Pier 39 in the mornings. I know bagels aren’t the healthiest items to eat so I figured if I was craving it, I’d treat myself now and then. I’ve been here twice and on my first visit I purchased the deal where you buy a $ 25 gift card you get a $ 5 gift card for free! So I gave that card to my other half and kept the $ 25 for when I wanted to treat myself ;) So as soon as I entered I was greeted enthusisatically by a worker. He was friendly and helpful which I appreciated because it was my first time and I had no idea what I wanted. I asked if they had the salmon lox bagel which they did and I ordered it on an asiago bagel(I like the softer bread with less of a crunch and more of a chew– this makes sense in my head so bear with me please). The salmon lox bagel came with asaigo bread, cream cheese, cucumber, capers, red onion, salmon and tomato slices. This also comes with a side– there is a variety of sides and I chose fruit both times I’ve been there. The honeydew melon makes my throat itchy so I asked if I may have that removed and Ashley was SO kind and understanding! I really appreciate that because it requires them to go out of their way and that means a lot to me– thank you!!! The service is fast and the staff is friendly. If you have any questions or concerns I feel that you can communicate and work something out. The total for a lox bagel and side of fruit is around $ 7.79 +1: friendly +1: fast service +1: price for bagel and small side +1: great attitude I do recommend this place and will return!

If there was a place for NO stars, this is the place. Sure great that it’s near a tourist area but the service is the worst Iv’e experienced at a Noah’s Bagel. I placed the order with which seemed to be the manager, not only was she not paying any attention to the transaction at hand but she was scolding an associate in front of customers. Ok maybe I could excuse the POOR service and the rude behavior from the manager but to have to witness someone being belittled and singled out is unprofessional and should not be tolerated. This manager needs to be reprimanded and retrained if she thinks that her position is to set employees up to fail.

My hats off to this Noah’s Bagels franchise. We were walking around San Francisco with our small dog, and unfortunately we forgot her kibble at home. We stopped into this Noah’s to purchase some meat for her, and the woman behind the counter was all smiles, and jumped up immediately to help us. She ended up giving us a small chicken breast on the house for our little pup, and it absolutely made our day. I have always loved Noah’s Bagel thins and veggie cream cheese, and now I have another reason to frequent this establishment. A big THANKYOU to the woman working there who showed kindness when she did not have to. Bravo :)

I’m in San Francisco and I ate a place that is considered a «chain» restaurant. Shame. Came here to grab quick food before our bike ride. Why? 1.) it was on the way to the Ferry building 2.) I’ve eaten at Noah’s Bagels before… so it’s safe and I actually like it. Well, the food was good. The customer service… horrible! Not even a single GOODMORNING! The cashier was rude and I felt rushed to order. If you go to Noah’s Bagels, don’t go to this location! So rude!

Living in San Francisco, I fell in love with Noah’s Bagels, even though this is just the most typical New York thing, but I love it none the less. This location is pretty ideal. It’s right near the ferry building and is super close to connecting muni and Bart. So perfect for tourists who use the public transportation here.

Decided to stop by Noah’s for some breakfast before heading into the office. Ordered a turkey sausage and cheddar Egg Mit sandwich. The worker asked what type of bagel I wanted. Checked out the display and selected the egg bagel. She asked if I wanted it toasted and then my name and said I could pay at the cashier. After ordering and paying, I went to get my coffee from the coffee station. As I was capping my coffee cup, a worker walked up to me and said«Al, your sandwich.» The sandwich was still warm when I got to my desk. The egg and turkey sausage were tasty and the sandwich was not overwhelmed with cheese. But $ 4.80 plus tax, I felt it was a little on the pricey side for a breakfast sandwich.
