Milan Pizza

More of a 3.5 star. Ordered delivery. Got the deal with 10 wings, Tijuana large pizza and drink. I’d never say not to go here but I certainly would not tell people to either. Service was good on the phone and the delivery guy. It took 55 min. When they said 45. No big deal. Wings were hot, moist and tasty! They were great. Pizza was good… in a very average way. The toppings were sparse and very thinly sliced with very little cheese and an average amount of crust. There was not a lot of flavor to any of it. It just seemed like your average «get fed» typical lower priced pizza delivery place around town. I think I’d go here after a late night on the town and a few drinks but not order it as my dinner. For the price it was a very good value overall and did not disappoint.

We ordered their Milan Specialty Pizza and Calzone. It took almost 40 minutes to complete the order (minus one star for that). The pizza was absolutely delicious! Can’t say the same about the Calzone, too much dough and not enough «stuff». They also ran out of peppers that night, booo. But the staff was friendly and courteous, and definitely soccer fans. Just be careful parking and walking around that area, not the safest place to be during the post-​club hours.

We ordered a delivery and the pizza was very dry and just overall not good. The delivery guys was also late by 20 minutes. Not going to order again.

PIZZA: Open late night for your after clubbing «hangry» eaters like myself. They sell by the slice and have it displayed so you can see what the pizzas look like. I opted for combination and picked off the onions and bell peppers like I usually do. Not bad pizza. You pay extra 50 cents for a ranch dressing. Sodas are in the fridge by the register in cans.
INSIDE: Small joint with counter seating against the wall, and some group tables at the very back, but it is cramped. If you sit back there you feel like you’re in the way of staff members walking to the back to get supplies and the bathroom is back there too.
OVERALL: A-​OK three stars. I feel bad for the staff members because they have to deal with so many drunk people and take phone orders. The staff seemed nice, at least the guy that helped me seemed nice especially when he asked a group to quiet down he was nice about it even though I’m sure he was super annoyed. Street parking outside on either side of the street. Beware there are people asking for change out front. Or do what one of our friends did and buy them a slice of pizza.

Great pizza and friendly staff I would recommend getting the Milan special and a side of mild wings are my favorite, it’s also one of the only places open until 4 in the city

Worst service for marginal pizza. I stood at the counter and was ignored for 7 minutes. No business for you.

BEST PIZZA I HAVE BER TRIED! Huge slices as well. The staff has a great smile and I came from SoCal and they made sure to make me feel special. Ordered one slice age it all then ordered another. Definitely recommend it. Cozy joint on Geary street and open late so perfect for after the bars and clubs. Pizza had a nice crispy under layer yet was so fluffy and delicious on the inside. The crust was great. The cheese wa a great. The sauce was great. Tried mushroom and pepperoni that was great, tried veggie that was great. The staff was great. Just great. Go try it for yourself I highly recommend it!

An average pizza joint. The pizzas are okay and never that great. My favorite is pepperoni and mushroom with jalapenos. To be fair the only times I’ve been here are after a night out or last-​calls. Usually, I’m not that hungry after the liquid dinners. By then, my taste buds are compromised.
The place is small, with an L-​shaped counter and a few stools. There are a couple of tables for four, and a table for two, toward the back.
Also, it deserved an extra star for opening so late. The good thing about eating here so late is it seemed to prevent hangovers the next day. To me, not many late night eats can claim that.

Delivery is on time! Pizza tastes fine and chicken is a bit dried! Overall experience is good!

We were searching EVERYWHERE for a place to eat while on vacation here. We finally decided on just ordering pizza. We found this place on Unilocal and the delivery guy was on time. They quoted 45 – 50 minutes. We just ordered small cheese pizza and wings. The wings were really good!!!

I ordered a medium size pizza with half pepperoni and half just cheese along with a side order of cheese fries. The price was amazing. We paid like 20 bucks for everything and they delivered it to our hotel! Plus it said it would be delivered in about an hour but the guy showed up 20 minutes early. The cheese fries were alright. Just your regular fries covered in what tasted like 7 – 11 nacho cheese. The pizza was pretty good. Its a little too thin for me but it was still nice and filling. The sauce was full of flavor as well. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again but then again it’s hard to beat free delivery in under 30 minutes in San Francisco!

This is my fav pizza in the city!!! Nothing fancy here. Just great pizza!

Amazing pizza and they are open late my favorite slices are pesto chicken, Monaco, and the mushroom sausage is really good, if your getting a full pizza I would highly recommend the San Francisco or California

If you’re not paying attention, it is very easy to walk past this place. Luckily for me and the people I was with, we had to wait for an Über. Which meant us just standing there on the sidewalk looking around.
The inside is a little small but definitely nothing really worth complaining about. The worker was very nice and social.
The one thing that shocked me about this place was the free delivery. Are you kidding me?! That’s awesome. You can order your pizza online as well.
Finally, the pizza. The pizza was made fresh, which took about 8 minutes from prep to it coming out of the oven. The price was not bad at all and they take cards. It’s very common that a small place like this will only take cash, which is so inconvenient.
This is a great place to stop by for some pizza!

Ok so I was kind of skeptical ordering a pizza from a restaurant that delivers until 2 am, but then I remember that this was San Francisco and every restaurant has high expectations. I was not wrong. This pizza was so good, I ate the whole box. I forgot the pizza that I ordered, but I think it was the supreme pizza. and it was great.
I would definitely go and visit this place again when I visit the great city of San Francisco again.

I’ve been here tens and tens of times, and honestly, have never purchased anything but a single slice of pizza each time.
Their slices are big. Perhaps not a full meal for a 200-​pound man, but a great filler at any time, and this place is open late. It’s definitely a fast and easy option. A cheese slice will run you $ 2.75, and other types range between $ 3-​$ 4. You can pay by credit card but there is a $ 10 minimum on that, so bring cash.
The pizza here is pleasantly good! Depending on who you are you may or may not want to use a napkin to soak up all that oil on top of your pizza before you get going though… The dough and crust are pretty good and I’ve been happy with whatever pizza I’ve picked each time. Granted you’re not expecting anything fancy.
Judging by all the soccer jerseys you see hung up there — my bet is that this place was named after Italian soccer team AC Milan rather than anything to do with Italian pizza.

Ordered for pick up and the guy on the phone was rude and unhelpful.
On their online menu, it says the deal is a large pizza with 10 wings and a 2 liter for $ 23. They tried to say that they don’t have a deal like that, and then switched up when I said I wasn’t going to order anymore. I also ordered the SMALL vegetarian calzone, which the menu said was $ 13… And they charged me $ 17. Not sure if this is how they treat everyone? Also seemed mad that I pointed out what their menu read.
So anyways the FOOD:
They did indeed give me a huge calzone & insisted it was a small. It wasn’t very flavorful. I put pepper flakes on it to make it taste better.
Friends said the pizza was decent.
The wings I ordered to be buffalo and not spicy came spicy.
Probably wouldn’t come here again unless starving.

Usually local pizza joints get hit by bad reviews because of their delivery service, which is why I’m pleasantly surprised by my experience with Milan Pizza.
After a night of clubbing, my friends and I were on the hunt for pizza and needed a place that 1) Was open at 2 a.m., 2) Had reasonable prices (another pizza place we called wanted to charge $ 26 for a one topping medium pizza) and 3) Would deliver to us without a ridiculous fee (FYI: Milan Pizza delivers for FREE!).
Ordering over the phone was a breeze and the pizza arrived in the 30 to 40 minutes as they promised. Make sure you check their online coupons. We scored a delicious medium, 3-​topping pizza (that actually could’ve passed for a large), garden salad and two cans of soda for about $ 20 with tax and tip. It was so delicious!
Our only complaint: they forgot to slice the pizza, probably in their hurry to deliver on time!

What do I want after closing down a nearby bar?! That’s right! Pizza! After numerous cocktails, a group of us came to Milan. Nothing like a huge slice of pizza to soak up all the alcohol! Since there was a group of us, I was able to try 3 different slices:
–Pepperoni
–Pepperoni & mushrooms
–Milan special: salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, sausage & onions
Make sure they heat up the slice, since it’s better when the cheese is all melty. I really enjoyed the Milan special since it had veggies. Even late at night, I want my vegetables! The Pepperoni & Pepperoni and mushroom were great as well. I love the pizza basics!
For a quick slice, Milan does the trick!
