The taste of Long Island is so awesome! $ 14 is the reasonable price. I got 2 tonight! I like the atmosphere, not too crowded on Thursday night! Good for hanging out with friends or doing birthday celebration which was I’d done it last time for my friend’s birthday. I’ll def be coming back here again.

Very cool bar on the street. The drinks are good, tried the recommend blue berry martini, average. Not sure why other reviewers were so amazed by it. Bar attendee was nice and friendly, you can ask him to make any drinks. Good atmosphere!

The bar tender was clueless, but really nice and accommodating. My hubby had to tell him how to make a Mai Tai and in return the drink was super strong! The ambiance is nice, relaxed(it was a Tuesday night) with some good music playing(and for once not too loud to have a conversation!!!). All in all I enjoyed the visit.

Solid cocktails at reasonable prices and decent vibe. Good happy hour!!! This was my go to bar when they were across the street many years ago. Still like it and whenever I’m in the hood, it’s a great place to grab a drink and relax.

Lit! Lit! Lit! The drinks at this place were amazing when visiting San Fran a few weeks ago. I don’t recall the bartenders name but she was super cool and amazing attentive. That BLUEBERRYMARTINITHOUGH, it was everything. Happy hour prices can’t be beat, needless to say by the end of the night my friend and I were done. I will definitely be back

My all time favorite place to be on Polk no matter what the weather or occasion is outside. I’ve spent New Years, St. Patrick’s Day, Valentines, Santa Con, you name it and I’ve stopped by for a good drink and great background music. Though I’m pretty sure its the same playlist it never hurts to sing those songs out loud with your crew anytime! The drinks are reasonably priced and the bar tenders are some of the best in town! Can’t go wrong with Lush people and you can always catch a seat by the fireplace or next to the windows to people watch.

John was an amazing bartender. He knew everything I wanted to drink and more. Plus he always knows where the chickens from.

Specially cocktails clearly really on sugar to be palatable. The service is slow and a 20 dollar min for credit cards is not absurd. What a fall for a bar that used to be fun.

Four stars for their extensive cocktail menu(there’s something for everyone, from martinis to sweet tea to muddled fruit cocktails and shots & beer combos) and their indoor fireplace!

#89 I recently met several friends here for a little get-together. Fun times! I walked in and found my group nestled in a front area in the window. This large window opened to Polk Street where the people watching was amazing, and the cool San Francisco breeze was whisping on our faces. As I approached the table, I noticed everyone was drinking these wonderfully pretty blueberry drinks. I guess they are the house special. Special they were, as someone dropped a glass and broke it on the table top. We had a great time talking and hanging out in the wonderfully comfy and friendly space. The employees were attentive and helpful and the atmosphere was very inviting. Stephani Smiles for Lush Lounge ;)

OK. Mr. L died late this summer. Sucks to be a new widow he was one of the greats. Lush’s staff has sincere listening ears very kind. Oh don’t worry I know when to leave you won’t see me sloppy but you will see me slurping bubbly in my widow seat often laughing out loud at the tweeky street scenes on Polk. If you’re laughing you’re healing, right?

No double IPAS and very muggy for a hot night as the air seems to get trapped. Music wasn’t bad.

I watched a security guard repeatedly shove a guest out extremely violently and harm multiple innocent people in the way. I went to talk to the security guard and was rudely shoved aside. After talking to multiple people no one seemed to care. I found out the man got literally beaten out and others got injured for him drinking a beer that they didn’t think the bar served. I was legitimately scared for my safety around the security guards and left the first chance I had. I’ve never been to a bar where I felt so uncomfortable and in danger. Security guards are meant to keep the building capacity at the correct number and escort unruly people out. What I saw was a man with an uncontainable temper and no regard for women and men with no affiliation with the situation be hurt. I’m so appalled with the way this business dealt with this problem and wouldn’t be surprised if a law suit was headed their way.

If you’re a single girl – wheeee! This place is 70% male! If you’re a single guy – lol. I guess the same can be said for the rest of the Bay Area, but the number of times my overpriced drink got knocked over by a pack of male hopefuls entering to scan the room/a pack of disappointed males hastily leaving, was too high! Also the drinks were too sweet and had barely any alcohol in them. And how is this a lounge?

Came here on a Sunday night with absolutely no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised by Lush Lounge. The ambiance is great. The lighting is dimmed, the music light, and the décor fits the vibe of this bar. The bartenders are all friendly and easily mixed my drink for me so that it wouldn’t taste too strongly of alcohol. They have a happy hour menu from 5−7pm but if you’re interested in margaritas they sure sold me one for a whopping $ 6! If that’s not a deal then I don’t know what is!

Third stop on our bar hopping adventure. We decided to check out Lush because they had a sign outside offering $ 3 or $ 4(I cant remember the price) watermelon shooters… DON’T DOIT! Those shooters were nasty =______=

Was here for a drink with a night out with friends. It was a nice place and we were able to get seating which is always nice! We got some fruity drinks and there is a large selection so that was nice to see! Definitely would come here for happy hour if I worked closer to it. It definitely gets busy on friday/saturday nights as it was when we were there, but the music was great and it was a cool place to be at the time. would definitely go back!

Came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday evening and truly had a blast! Ok…SO its not in the BEST area in San Francisco but it is right in the middle of GOOD food and more bars… What more can you ask for? Happy hour was till 7PM and the drinks were AMAZING! I think that was really what attracted everyone to this lounge was Happy Hour. I liked that they have a top seating area as well! How nice, I definitely plan to use that the next time I come. All the workers were very nice and pleasant. Didn’t have to worry about loud music or anything like that. This was literally a LOUNGE! I loved it! Bathrooms were nice and clean! A+ FORTHAT. Please note, ATM is near the door! This is a great bar to come to and get the night started because there is SO much more around the area. Food and more bar hopping!

If Lush Lounge were located somewhere other than Polk St. I probably would have had a blast. But as it isn’t, here’s a quick list of its pros & cons: Pro –Part of the infamous Polk St. Bar Crawl –A ton of people! –Great ambiance and music. –Amazing cocktails. Try their Gimlet. Cons –Part of the infamous Polk St. Bar Crawl –A ton of people! –Great choice of VERYLOUD music –Amazing cocktails. The floors are sticky and you often see some rowdy folks because of it.

I enjoyed the music here, but holy shit it’s super louuuud so prepare for that kind of vibe. The drinks are REALLY cheap, but it’s CA$H only. It’s like stupid crowded with no ventilation and I want to say 40% of the crowd is RATCHET, another 40% is douche-baggy, and the remaining 20% is just trying to get through the ratchet and douche-bag crowd without getting harassed.

Mediocre bar lounge on Polk street, but one of the main ones on Polk street, nonetheless! Bar drinks are of the norm here(pricey that can range for $ 13 – 15 with tips included) and it’s loud to hold a conversation here during late nights when it is time to turn up! It’s a fun bar spot to drink at and hop on over to another!

Lush and I go back a ways when my friend Carlos used to take me to the old, more compact location down the street to get the Lemon Drops. He liked chatting it up with one of the bartenders while we both got sloshed. I know from taking the 19 all the time that Lush moved up Polk to bigger digs with a fireplace and an upstairs area. It’s like an episode of «House Hunters» where the bickering young couple is staying with her parents in her girlhood room as they shop for a house with four walk-in closets and twin sinks in the master suite. Well, Lush obviously found their true north with this far more relaxing industrial-cool spot(photo: ). I came with Jamie W. this time before doing our regular pastrami run at Miller’s East Coast Deli. It was a holiday weekend, so we figured the popular bars would be empty. Wanting to wet our whistles, I flashed back to the good times I had at the old Lush and was happy to discover the new place keeps the same convivial vibe. Oh wait, maybe I was the old lush, but I can be the new lush, too, right? It was Happy Hour, and we were already late since it starts at 3PM. The Lemon Drop wasn’t on the list, but other temptations compensated. Jamie went for the tantalizing $ 6 Don Q Mojito evoking Havana nights he’s never had(photo: ). I went predictable and ordered the $ 5 Blueberry Martini(photo: ). Ah, their fruity martini cocktails are still addictively tasty. Yes, we had another round. And that pastrami sure tasted good after that. COCKTAILS — 4 stars… they still make those refreshing martini drinks, don’t they? AMBIANCE — 4 stars… far more spacious than the former spot with enough dim lighting that you don’t notice the hipster quotient… much SERVICE — 4 stars… genuinely friendly and dexterous with a shaker(photo: ) TOTAL — 4 stars… still holds up as a favorite watering hole with the $ 5 – 6 Happy Hour libations a major draw on quiet three-day weekends
