Just a couple doors down from the Quickly and the Tea Ways, this is a cheap, quick, and good place to get your boba fix. You can always win with $ 1 drinks here! The place is usually fairly empty, has several TV screens usually playing alternative rock music videos, and apparently sells a lot of different inexpensive food options that I have yet to get around trying(ie. burgers, fried oreos, fishballs). Pretty comparable to the other boba shops, and I’m not complaining.

2 stars for a good cup of peach milk tea with toppings. Negative stars cuz my boyfriend didn’t like the taste of his mango green tea(it tasted sour-y) and there were flies all over the place. We got fries for $ 2. Pretty good amount of fries for that price. Just a simple snack. We poured chili powder and it tasted good. But bottom line, I’d probably rather get my drinks at Teaway instead cuz based on how empty this place is, I’m honestly not even sure if they put out fresh boba toppings everyday which makes me feel iffy. One question. Why are there 6 tvs in this place?! I don’t understand…

Horrible food. Ordered a Tonkatsu curry just to try it out, presented to me was some old school lunch. Even my old high school served better cafeteria food to be honest. Food looked old and I didn’t want to believe it but they microwaved most of my food, because once the timer was up, my food was ready. Never order food from here.

I can’t speak for the food at all, but the boba drinks are $ 0.99 each(before tax) and a perfect size and deliciousness. Definitely a good deal. The jasmine milk tea, green milk tea. and taro milk tea were all good.

You really can’t get a better deal than $ 0.99 for boba(or $ 1.08 with tax). Kobe Bento seems to be the new sister branch of Quicklys, so they moved their boba deal to this place, and that means all their drinks taste the same as Quicklys. All I can say is, if Tpumps is overcrowded, I’d come here for my $ 1 jasmine milk tea and I’ll definitely be a happy camper. Drinks are always good and consistent and i can never seem to get tired of their jasmine mt :)

Not great, but not bad; Kobe Bento is another Quickly shop, located right next to quickly. I was lured in by the cheap drinks. It’s 99 cents for their drinks. You can upgrade to a large for just 39 cents too. I got the regular milk tea. It wasn’t super strong, but it worked. It was sweet, without being too sweet. I liked it, especially for the price. The service can be a bit slow; but that’s just how it goes sometimes. They have a self-serve boba area, but I just had them do it for me(which seems a lot more hygienic) They also have a variety of snacks(burgers, musubi, french fries, fish balls, deep fried oreos). I didn’t get any food myself, but my friend got the fishballs(4 for 99 cents), and they were so-so. There are a few small tables inside, but it seems like most people get their drinks to-go.

Kobe Bento carries the usual quick food products and drinks plus bento boxes and hamburgers. all kinds of teas available @.99 includes boba. drink: «coffee milk tea»(.99) no boba –very sweet, artifically tasting, –chemical aftertaste, definitely not milk tea, not coffee either 2 stars drips: –smiling, efficient fast service, 3.5 stars –good service for servicing lousy products… –teaway is leading on irving 3 – 2.

This place gets five stars because: 1. My Tapioca drink was tasted good 2. My drink was made from Quickly’s brand(an extension of the original Quicklys?) 3. My drink was only $ 0.99 4. The service here was fast! LOVEIT!

This is the second Kobe Bento location I’ve been to. As a comparison between the Chinatown and Outer Sunset locations, this Kobe Bento is spacious. I came in here for Chicken Nuggets and a Tapioca Milk Tea. The flavoring for my milk tea and chicken nuggets came out perfectly flavored. I’m coming back to get a burger and a cup of tapioca milk tea next time I am down on Irving St. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here today so I’ll definitely be back. Writing this review update is making me want to go back for another cup of milk tea.

Its a boba turf war on irving … teaway vs quicklys This place is basically an expansion of the quicklys located literally right next door. They still have their 99 cent special with the choice of boba milk green tea, regular milk tea, taro milk tea, and coffee milk tea but they got rid of the free upgrade. It now costs 39 cents and they have the purple kow/half and half size now also. Overall still my boba place to go during peak hours since i know purple kow will be packed.

A bigger food selection to go with your boba! 4 small round tables with all bench seating 4 menus of foods 7 flavours of boba 6LCD screens playing random music videos. all on the same channel Kobe Bento is from the same family as Quickly nextdoor, but focuses mainly on food, with a limited boba selection Cheap bento boxes and burgers, freshly made fries and decent portions. We had a couple of burger combos and some buffalo wings, the perfect afternoon snack. Everything is made from scratch, so be prepared to wait a bit. 3 stars for being a good«fast food» kinda place, and 1 more because it looks promising. I’ve never been to their other location in old CTown, but no complaints here for me. The place was clean and service was friendly, would definitely come back. I’m really curious to try out their skewers, curry tonkatsu bento, and bbq pork burger. Oh, and it’s CASHONLY, so don’t try to put your 99 cent boba on your Amex.
