At the employees suggestion had the chicken teriyaki with rice, so good! Came with pasta salad & small green salad. Very big portions & perfectly cooked! Would definitely come again!

I walked by this place so many times but never tried it. When given an estimated wait time of 1.5 hours at nearby Del Popolo, though, we decided to grab a small bite at Jasmin’s Café to satisfy our hunger in the meantime. It’s a small place that sits about 12. There’s no real separation between the kitchen and the dining area so the air is permeated with the smell of grease. We ordered a tuna melt. While not exactly amazing, it was good enough to keep us satisfied until dinner.

My wife was pleasantly surprised but a delicious chicken yakisoba. I had the steak Hawaiian burrito(burrito with pineapple) which was great, a 2 out of 10 on spiciness level. Very fast and convenient little place.

Good, fast, friendly service. Possibly the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had though(tough carne asada, with everything else on the plate out of a bag or can).

Stopped in this morning and had the fish tacos and breakfast special. The breakfast special was prepared exactly they way we wanted. The fish tacos were good but a little bland and a bit too much hot sauce. Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. Reminds me of my parent’s greasy spoon diner that they used to operate. Overall a very good experience and very nice lady who served us.

Love the breakfast burritos here! I live nearby, so I’m here often and I’ve never had a negative experience with this place. The owners and staff are also very friendly.

Horrible sandwich. Communication was a huge issue. I think the employee was trying to tell me there was a Vegetarian sandwich and a Vegetable sandwich but he was so unclear and I was completely confused. Ended up with an over-priced sandwich with missing ingredients on stale sourdough bread. Had I not taken it to go I would have just demanded my money back. Instead I threw it away and bought a better, less expensive sandwich that was made perfectly to order.

Called several times to place an order only to have someone take the phone off the hook and do nothing. I could hear them talking in the back ground. I called back to hear the same. After 25 minutes of this I’m ordering from a different café.

Best Burrito ever! After 10 year I’m moving out of San Francisco, and this place is one of the things I’m going to miss most about the city.

As my go-to breakfast burrito spot in Nob Hill, Jasmin’s holds a special place in my heart. Everything on the menu is affordable and you always get a few more fries than you bargain for. The guys working there are quick, efficient, and sure know how to get the day started.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. This place is still around because it’s great. It’s a perfect point to location location location. The menu has everything! They have coffee. Soda. Beer. Chips. It’s a perfect stop on your way to trader Joe it’s a neighborhood favorite with loyal locals that know about it. I get the teriyaki chicken with kimchee all the time or a quick coffee. I live close and I like knowing this place is here for me. Friendly quick service too. Continued success. Thank you!

Great vegetarian burritos! Burritos come with chips and amazing, authentic salsa. Just wish they would give more salsa with the order. Very good portion size, especially for the price!

As one of the closest restaurants to my apartment, Jasmin’s is an invaluable community resource. There’s always someone there picking up food. I’m a big fan of their chicken teriyaki — the guys are always happy to substitute in steamed broccoli for me(my favorite). What’s funny is that their burritos are just as good — most restaurants couldn’t pull off more than one type of cuisine, but Jasmin’s does it. Nothing not to like here.

Was just told you’re closed, but you’re still open for another 45 min until 10pm. Your staff wanted to leave early apparently. 3 star place typically per food quality and random selections. Minus 1 star for always having a weird, un-cordial staff.

I walk by this place on my way to work every day. I always think to myself«I need to check that place out». Well today was the day. I walk in and there’s only one person in there eating(red flag). I look at the menu on the wall, mixed assortments of breakfast foods, sandwiches, Burgers, Mexican food, and Korean food? I opted for the torta, a Mexican sando to go. My office is just around the corner from this place, went to the break room and was eager to eat. The sandwich is been in the bag with chips for whole four-5 minutes max. The torta was wrapped in aluminum foil. I open it up to find a very soggy sandwich. The bread is soaked in liquid(who knows why?) and falls apart when I unravel the foil wraper. Soggy bread with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo and some brown/green guacamole with tasteless beef. Omg this lunch sucks. 1 star for the chips which were some what decent. –never again. Tip: if you walk by this place and you’re hungry, just keep walking.

I’ve only been to Jasmin’s twice and ordered to-go both times. There are a few things they can improve on(such as putting up the whole menu with updated prices somewhere online so ordering to go is a little easier), but overall I’ve been very satisfied with them. FOOD: — Overall they give you more food than you’d expect from what you’re paying. — I’ve had both the soft tacos and the chicken burrito. The burrito comes with chips and salsa on the side and the soft tacos come with chips and guacamole. — Everything pretty fresh, tasty, and prepared to order. SERVICE: — Their service is pretty quick, I am usually able to pick up my order within 10 minutes of placing it. — They accept credit cards, which is a pretty big plus for me. LOCATION: — It’s a bit tucked away and easy to miss to keep your eyes out for the sign. — I haven’t eaten in the restaurant before but it’s relatively small and little seating available. However, both times I’ve gone to pick up my order they haven’t been too busy.

Even though the food is decent, I’ve been disappointed when I go there. The conversation goes like this. I order. I pay. I go to get my beverage but am told that I never ordered a beverage. I pay again. I wait at a table as I’ve requested to eat there. Someone yells that my order is ready. I approach and tell the guy that it was an order to eat there. He again scolds me for not telling him that I wanted it to eat-in. I open the box and see that it isn’t what I ordered. I tell him. He scolds me for not ordering what I intended to order. I take the bag and leave. I will never go there again.

Decent prices for the city. And definitely filling! :D Demerits for customer service though! — denied restroom access because it was just cleaned — was told«I’m not your waiter» when asked for a water refill Even though I had to pay 0.20 for a to-go container, I would recommend this place.

Very average Mexican place. It’s quite small, so a bit of luck is needed to get a seat. They serve standard americanized Mexican food, which is quite cheap & tasty, but not anything out of ordinary. This means I would recommend it if it’s on your way, but it’s not worth making a trip here. The staff is OK.

Stopped by here the other week and was seriously starving and on a random whim while doing some street photography. I forgot what I even did that day. They have much needed pictures of the food even outside. No wait and conveniently located, I was glad to eat sooner rather than later. Jasmin seemed to be the one who was running the café register and managing. They have plenty of items to choose from, Asian inspired dishes to American fare. Jasmin recommended I try the Hawaiian burger which sounded interesting cause I haven’t had one of those in the longest time. It’s not the newest place on the block or most hipster but its simple and clean. I also got a Hot Tazo decaf tea of some sort to wash down my burger. I was so hungry that I hate everything. It was good and the flavor of the beef was better than most other fast food joints around the area. Jasmin was very nice, soft spoken and so cute! I might actually be back someday to try a dish other than a burger. I thanked her for the meal on the way out and went on my way.
