Such a fun Japanese plaza. Lots of cute shops. Some of the shops have similar items, so look around before you get something. Good food and dessert.

Tons of options in terms of Japanese eats and desserts. Across the street, plenty more restaurants and shops. The plaza itself is large and nice to just take in people watching. Time to time, there are cultural performances, but it serves as a good meetup spot for me personally.

This is a nice plaza breaking up the Mall in Japan Town. The highlight of the design is the Pagoda(see separate review). Like most plazas it is best on sunny days when the adults relax on the benches and kids run wild. Its also home to special events, and just a nice place to relax. There are lots of places in the area to buy food to eat here. Then enjoy the setting and think about peace.

Peace can be achieved through war, and peace can be achieved through… peace. Sometimes I’ve been here & seen martial arts demonstrations with swords x punching x kicking x yelling. Other times I’ve seen many animé nerds in all kinds of costumes. But mostly I know this place as a wide open mellow area where I can chill with a snack I bought nearby. I always remember the homeless(?) dude showcasing his own«rat kung fu». I felt sorry for him as he kept falling over attempting somersaults. But whatever — as long as his way of the rodent leads him to peace.
