One of the best Chinese restaurants in Richmond I have to say! Crispy pork is a must get! Would definitely come back!

Great food and it’s cheap! Especially the three item special. Free soup and $ 1 per person for UNLIMITED rice!

The food here is alright. I wouldn’t say it’s anything special as far as Chinese food goes. The service is decent and the waitress we had was very nice when she took care of us! Interestingly, the food was better the next day when we took it home as left overs.

omg. i can’t believe we paid $ 22 including tax for 2 dishes! Especially when each dish looks like it was half eaten?! Who said they give big portioned??? Unless the rest became much more stingy, their portion size is really really small. I ordered garlic pea sprouts and the eggplant with chicken. Doesn’t taste bad at all but this review is for their portion size. Awful! i will post some pics up soon.

This is cheap, normal American Chinese food. It’s OK. Orange Chicken is pretty good. The hostess was really nice, too.

A Chinese Restaurant in San Francisco that is almost near Ocean Beach. Where was this at when I was at San Francisco State University. I found this restaurant from a friend on Instagram. I would give this restaurant a shot. It turns out to be a great restaurant. The service was amazing!

We went to Jade Garden restaurant by chance as the restaurant we wanted to go had a long wait. Jade Garden restaurant was ran by a family. They operate their restaurant whole heartily. The restaurant is very pleasant, the floor, the tables and the rest rooms are very clean. It is a casual restaurant and serves home cooked food. We ordered«Lon Lee» fried fish, steamed egg with clam, tomato with beef. The fish was very fresh and crispy, the bone and the meat all melt in your mouth. The steam egg was very smooth and soft and tasty. The beef was very tender. There was no MSG and I didn’t have stomach cramp after the meal which often happened after the Asian food. The price was very resealable — $ 22 for three dishes. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to my family members and friends for the delicious food and very reasonable price.

My wife and I came for late lunch before a movie. The food is OK. But the place is dirty, the bathroom and the tables and the chairs were sticky. We ask for water, As I was about to take a drink from it I notice the water was a little cloudy and there was a white film film in it. We told the waitress and then she said oh there must be soap still in the glass. And there was man who I think work was killing flies or bugs with a electric bug killer right by the server station. So no I will not eat here again.

Came here to pickup my take home orders and the owner was very friendly and nice. I was in and out of there pretty quick since my food was already ready for me. Ordered the chicken, spareribs, beef & broccoli with soup(in exchange for rice). I likes the spareribs best because it was super crisp even with the sauce all over and very flavorful! The soup was a bit bland but I also liked the chicken too. Not bad! Don’t mind getting takeout from here again :)

Amazing prices. They have lunch specials starting at $ 5.25, and all day long entrees at $ 6.50. And you can do family specials that will easily feed a group of 3 for $ 20. So what do the cheap prices get you? I’m determined to investigate more deeply! But all I’ve had so far is the salt and pepper spareribs. When they say salt and pepper, they don’t mean like the table condiments. They mean salt and *spicy* peppers(albeit not too spicy), which made for a really savory combination. Very enjoyable. Lunch portions aren’t really big enough for 2 meals, but I can hardly complain at that price! And you get plenty of rice included to boot, which is also nice. I noticed a number of people eating the own ton soup. Will try that next time!

Not worth it. Giving 2 stars just because I feel bad about giving 1 star. Waitress sneezed into her hand and didn’t even wash them. Food was ok… not the best but edible. Won’t ever come back again because they are not very sanitize. Thats the worst thing ever.

Jade Garden has an extensive menu for cheap and traditional Chinese food. What I really like about them is that they have a menu special where you can order 3 items from the list for just $ 20. It even includes rice with the three items. It’s perfect for days when you don’t feel like cooking and want something quick for a family dinner. We ordered chicken with cashews, scrambled eggs with prawns, and snow peas with vegetables. The chicken with cashews was pretty good. It was stir fried with red peppers, carrots, zucchini, and onions. The scramble eggs with prawns was what you would expect. The snow peas with vegetables came with red peppers, carrots, zucchini, and onions. It looked pretty similar to the chicken with cashews. The food was decent, but it wasn’t something to really rave about. It’s a good price and I would order from them again. Especially since I live in the neighborhood and there are days when we’re too busy to cook.

There are numerous options in the outer Richmond for Chinese food. This one is on top of my list for casual family dining. They have a $ 20 special where you choose three dishes from a list of about 50, including veggies, seafood, poultry, and red meat. They have several home style dishes that you don’t find in finer restaurants or at Panda Express(i.e., stir fried pumpkin, pork meatloaf with salted fish, clams in steamed eggs, bitter mellon). While streamed rice is extra($ 1/pp), soup of the day is complimentary. Quite a bargain for the portion and variety. We indulged on the $ 20 option on our recent visit. We ordered the Chinese pork meatloaf, fried whole flounder, and eggplant with tofu. All dishes were well seasoned and prepared like mom’s homemade dishes. The pork was moist and flavorful. The lightly battered fish was crisp with just the right amount of soy sauce lining the bottom of the plate. The eggplant/tofu was on the blend side, but complimented well with our other two dishes. Overall, it was a positive experience, at $ 20 for a party of three! Its definitely worth a drive to the outer Richmond if you are craving for home style cooking beyond the typical broccoli-beef or sweat-and-sour-pork. We’ve been fortunate to find parking within one block on Fri/Sat..

Jade Garden came to my attention as i eyed the lunch plate specials. the dining room is clean, newly remodeled, very stylish. flatscreen: chinese dramas eats: «curry beef tendon over rice»(5.25) –as i was pronuncing the entrée in chinese, the waitress said«beef brisket». niu nam — i told her the english said«beef tendon» –i let it pass –beef brisket wasn’t too tender, kind of fatty and chewy. –some fresh bell peppers, onion, and onions and lots of fresh white rice. –but the curry flavor was missing or flat. footnotes: –cheap food, quite a bit –may taste and look different than labeled. (in chinese, it was written beef brisket) –takes 15 minutes to cook. short staffed?
