Nice older gentlemen was working behind the counter the last time I came here. I tend to come here when I visit my folks in the neighborhood. A good spot to cheap beer. Surprisingly the selection is pretty good for a convenient store. The pricing is just as good. A six pack of PBR is decently priced. Never had any trouble getting beer here. The hard alcohol selection is pretty good as well. Lots of snacks and candy to choose from.

Cool little liquor store. Friendly staff, good prices. I wish they had more snacks, but that’s just because sometimes I’m too lazy to want to go a block down to the snack corner store. Anyway, I think the point is, they carry snacks, but shitty snacks and I’d rather have non-shitty snacks.

A nice enough little corner liquor and smoke store. The guys behind the register are always friendly. The entranceway can get a bit crowded what with all the chip displays and things, but they don’t have a lot of room to work with in there so cut ‘em some slack. Reasonable prices for a corner liquor store. You don’t feel like your wallet got raped. A good variety too.

What a great little liquor store! I just moved to the area and this place is right around the corner. The owner is super nice and gave us suggestions for a good wine and also let us know he had cold Belgian ales in the fridge behind us(we were perusing the shelves). I have to say I was surprised to see how many Belgian ales they carried. They actually have a wide variety of everything. I was also happy to see they carried Hendrick’s gin which was practically non-existent at every liquor store when I lived in Arizona, apart from Bev-Mo. This is looking to be my go-to liquor store, yay. :)

Reliably stocks good ciders and perrys(what’s in stock varies depending on what their distributors can get. Examples: Westons Old Rosie Cloudy Scrumpy, Henney’s, Oliver’s Perry, Westons Oak Casked.) In stock as of 9÷03÷12: Tieton Ciderworks Dry, Semi-Dry, & Apricot, and Aspall Dry. Is expecting Sonoma Cider from Sutton Cellars soon(a still English-farmhouse-style scrumpy cider).

Dan was very helpful! I am a Texan newly relocated to the area, and love my Texas-brewed Shiner Bock. Dan said that he can ask to get it stocked for future visits. He also pointed out a great deal on 12-packs instead of the 6 I was buying, saving me some cash. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is always there for me. For my diet seven up, for my stoli, for my gum, for a warm smile from one of the cool guys behind the register. Pretty great beer selection as well. Thanks guys!

When my friends and I were heading back from the beach we decided to buy some booze to take back to their spot on 47th avenue. I am glad I was not driving, as I would have just gone to the closest supermarket chain. Lo and behold my surprise to discover this booze store. I like the selection and location. I like to give liquor as gifts so I will be back.

Typical small San Francisco liquor store with a surprisingly great selection of beers from all over the world. Tons of Belgian ales and micro brews. Try the 14% alcohol Samichlaus beer. Amazing. Thick, sweet, and super strong.

this is the definition of Outer Sunset. who wouldn’t love a little liquor store like this. family-owned and operated, I’ve been toddling in here since I was a runny nosed babe in cloth diapers. the Makhoul Family are a living example of the American Dream, something we American-born folks take for granted. sadly the dad passed away several weeks ago, but I know his boys will keep the store and their pop’s memory alive forever. so. think you’re gonna get rich overnight by hitting the big scratcher or lotto jackpot? get your tix here. need a cheap stogie to puff on while enjoying that snifter of Courvoisier? they have some majorly cheap cigars, the boyfriend was smoking one and had no idea it cost $ 4. if you’re doing the wash up the block and you’re craving some chicharrons or corn chips and a snapple, J.M. has got them. and they gots the booze of course, duh. I bought some funky wine w/an unknown label for $ 6, my old schoolmate(one of the sons) scraped off the oldskool price sticker, and my dinner hosts had no idea how little I spent. got myself thrown outta here at 18 when I tried to buy a fifth w/a phony ID but I still came back. I’ll come back as long as the same guys own it. so if you’re going down to Ocean Beach, grab a 12 of Bud or Sierra or whatever from J. M and make your outing a little more enjoyable. tell Nick I said what’s doin and I’ll see ‘em soon
