Got my facial done here and I recommend Angela! She is super sweet and she lets you know what products she is putting on you. Only thing i would give a heads up on is you need to be able to handle the slight pain of her using a black head scraper tool on your face and not whine about it. It will be slightly painful at the moment, but hey, «it hurts to be beautiful».
Price wise: it is $ 55 (if I’m not mistaken) for one time and if you sign up to do 10 times, its roughly $ 350 (in that neighborhood), my friend and i signed up to do the 10 times and we are sharing it because if you can do the math correctly, that is a great deal!

The lady who was helping me consistently taking phone calls and complaining about her bills which felt very unprofessional. After my haircut I felt ripped off because the quality is about 3 stars but the charge was twice as much as other places.

Great place for facials! They provide excellent packages at fair prices. I recently went in to do a Facial and my face felt so clean and shiny! The people here are amazingly nice. I bought a package and I’m sharing with my family for it (not sure if that promotion is still available).

I love Image Design and Maria Tam! Always fantastic results. Not only the cut and color is great, but make-​up and hair for special event by Maria is amazing. Definitely recommend!

Been coming here for years to get my haircuts, facial and waxing. Maria is awesome. She is always willing to fit me in. Angie is great with the facials as well. The place got a fabulous remodel in 2010. It’s spacious with a revamped area for makeup sessions and facials. Oh yes, Maria does wonderful work for special events (i.e. weddings, black tie events, head shots, etc…). I’ve been coming here since 1995 and will continue doing so!

I have been going here for my facials for the past 10 years. They sell $ 330 for 10 1-​hr facials. Angela and Maria, does a great job taking care of me.
You can also bring anyone else and use one of the 10 facials you bought. I have taken some of my friends there for their birthday or on days that they need some pampering. That’s a great way to give as a gift.

I was in serious need of a hair trim since I’m trying to grow out my hair and wanted to do it the right way.
After spending an hour Unilocaling all the possible salons that were open on a sunday and accepted card which was also in my neighborhood. I finally decided to check this place out.
At first, I though oh great, this is another asian hair salon and felt obligated to go anyway because I had already made an appointment. So I proceeded with the appointment.
Without consultation, they washed my hair!!! I was starting to get a little worried at this point. After going back to the seat, I told the hair dresser that I just wanted a trim and she understood exactly what I wanted.
With previous experience, when I ask for a trim, i lose half the length of my hair but my hair came out looking great! Not only did the trim come out looking awesome! The hair dresser felt that my hair was dry and gave me a conditioning treatment FREE!!!
This is definitely a place that I would go back to for simple touch ups.

Maria, the owner, is fantastic! I first visited her store about a year ago, and she has been cutting and hightlighting my hair beautifully ever since. Maria is able to offer suggestions for hair styles (she convinced me to go for a chin length bob, and I love it!) but at the same time is very careful to always follow the customer’s wishes. And the prices are great. I am so much more satisfied with ID Hair & Beauty than other much more expensive salons that I have tried in SF. Highly recommended!

I have had bad experiences in the past that I hesitated to try this place. One day after we had dim sum, my mom convinced me to try them out. With reluctance, I went ahead and tried them out. My hair was halfway down my back and I look through the magazines they had and decided to go shoulder length.
Well, my mom was in shock because she didn’t expect me to really get a hair cut. After Helen was done, I was not only happy, but have been a loyal customer ever since. Every time I get my hair cut here I have always received compliments.
My daughter had her hair cut by Helen and she too cut her hair short to donate her hair. Helen gave a cute bob and everyone complimented her on how cute the hair cut was. I knew I could trust this place to do a good job.
Highly recommend them to anyone. I have been going here since my daughter was a year old and she is turning 9 this year.

I went here to get a hair trial done with Helen for my upcoming wedding. I showed Helen a few photos of wedding hairstyles that I like, and she helped me choose the most appropriate hairstyle, considering my face shape and my criteria to look modern, elegant and youthful in an updo. Helen appeared to be very experienced. After just an hour, I had a beautiful updo that looked exactly as it appears in the photo I showed her. I received so many compliments that day. Surprisingly, the hairdo stayed up the entire day and night, just like she said it would. At the time of writing this review, the price for the hair trial is below-​average. The price for setting the hair on the day of the wedding is comparable to everywhere else I looked. On a side note, speaking in Cantonese definitely helps here, but from the looks of their clientele and maybe with the help of their other staff, Maria, it’s not necessary.
I also took my picky Chinese mother here to get her eyebrow tattoos redone by Maria, and even my mother was happy with the results. Maria was trained by a well-​known makeup artist in Hong Kong, and her work shows for it.

Got my first perm here. Maria is super sweet.

I went to ID hair salon last week and had a very nice experience about their professionalism and service, also the place looks new and very tidy and clean, and easy parking in the neighboirhood. I really like my haircut done by Maria, and I will recommend ID salon to my family and friends. Great job Maria !

I came in here to get my hair done for a special event. I told them exactly what I wanted: a french braid. Now, I’m not a professional hair stylist, but I know that the finished product was definitely not a french braid. While they were in the process of making it, I had stated that a simple long braid was fine, nothing fancy. Don’t get me wrong, it looked alright in the end, but my experience there made me wonder if perhaps I was going crazy.
I won’t be coming back.

I had another haircut today by the owner Maria. LIke always, the cut was perfect and the service was outstanding.
If you come, ask for Maria, she is is nice and gorgeous.
She is always wearing some cool trendy outfit. She is so HOT!

I’ve been coming to Maria for several years. Recently, I wanted a change to my very thick, plain hairstyle. Maria showed me pictures and we decided on one style that accentuated the shape of my face. She restyled my hair by layering it beautifully! Now it only takes me 10 minutes to style /​dry my hair; it used to take 20+ minutes! I’ve gotten many compliments and people say that I look 10 years younger. She also colors my hair every 4 weeks and does an excellent job.
Also, she has now been awarded the full I.D. Bare Essentuals line at her salon. I will be purchasing all my Bare Minerals, etc at her salon! It is much closer than going to Stonestown!
