This is the strangest park I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure that you can actually call this place a park… it’s more accurately a 100X100 foot plot of land with overgrown trees, trash scattered about, and one single park bench in on the Northern end that looks like a great place to be shanghaied or given the shocker by an unsuspecting drifter. However, that’s one of the things I dig the most about San Francisco. Instead of wasting one single square foot of land, they make it a park. While you probably won’t ever see families celebrating birthdays or a group of dudes playing a game of flag football, it’s still an area of land that can be enjoyed by anyone in the city at any time. It’d be swell if some of those tax dollars could to go keeping this place nice, though. Perhaps I’ll grab a cup of coffee with ol’ Gav Dogg and give him a piece of my mind.
