Guptanardo. Singhelangelo. Patelatello. Jainphael. I named my pet turtles after the greatest Indian artists. I gave one of them swords. I gave one nunchucks. One of them I gave a stick. Especially fond of the Indian pizzas. So different, just yummy. Lucky for me I live nearby.

The good news is you CAN order Indian food and pizza at the same time from the same place! The bad news is that it will take a while — well over an hour from order to delivery. That said, the food arrived hot, and their Indian pizza did not disappoint — all of the flavor you’d expect, with an excellent crust somewhere between traditional naan and NY style pizza crust.

Great delivery place for outer sunset! I ordered the chicken tikka marsala and it was bomb. The seasonings were amazing. I didn’t get any sides, other than naan and wish I would have had some rice with it too. My brother got a cheeseburger and said it was awesome!

My coworkers and I ordered delivery from Golden Gate Pizza & Indian. Mind you, they’re located on Judah in Outer Sunset and my office is in the Financial District. So honestly, we expected them to be over the 60-minute mark but the driver called me at an hour of ordering to say he was on his way. It was fantastically amazing! The driver was apologetic about being 5 minutes over the ETA but all friendly smiles when he saw I wasn’t even upset. So sweet. Anyway, you can see how good the Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza DELIVERY looks. It looks perfect. It was still burning hot when he reached me. And it was spectacularly amazing as well. 5 stars for the delivery, the service, and the food all around. Beautiful…

I owuld have never known if my friends didn’t order some togo. Pizza still delicious and Indian food is on spot, but a bit too expensive.

Straightforward, served hot, Indian food. Samosas appetizers were very satisfying. Wife had a curry chicken dish with rice. I had the Indian Chicken pizza. Both were brought out very hot to the touch(which is great). They also had the India vs. Namibia Cricket World Cup on TV, which I liked because I don’t have cable TV and one rarely sees cricket on broadcast TV. Finally, cheap bottles of beer. $ 2.50 for domestic; $ 3.50 for imported beer. What I really wished for(in order of importance): –they really need to hide the bathroom. It’s right off the main dining area. Gross! I can see the toilet from my table when a person opens the door. I can only imagine how unappetizing it will be if I smelled anything vile come out of there. There’s even a table for two just right outside. –there’s little ambiance, so decent food but don’t expect anything from the décor. –Chicken curry was a little salty. So, I think this place is best for take-out or delivery only. I’ve eaten here several times and the food is always very good.

We’ve ordered from them several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious. I recommend the Samosas, pakora, and garlic Naan. The calzones are recommended too. Stuffed with meat and just the right amount of sauce. The oven bakes the crust perfectly.

Ordered from eat24 and it took then 2 hours to deliver. 2HOURS! The delivery man even had the audacity to ask for a tip and wouldn’t leave until we told him«no, you were an hour late» 5 times! Will NEVER order from here again.

Where Indian food and pizza meet and create a baby. In this case a chicken tikka masala pizza. Gold star for innovativeness because I have NOT seen this anywhere else, but the taste has room for improvement. The pizza was interesting tasting to say the least, however I wished it had a more prominent chicken tikka masala taste with its creamy yogurt and spices. Instead, the chicken was more like tandoori chicken resulting in pretty much a BBQ chicken tasting pizza. Also tried the beef samosas, chili cheese naan, and sauteed okra, which were just OK. The chutneys served with the papadum was my favorite part of the meal.

This place offers the best Indian food. Fast delivery for the outer sunset and the outer Richmond. I always like to order the chicken curry mild. Super cheap and fresh. I have never ever had upsetting stomach after eating from here. I always recommend this little restaurants to anybody who’s feeling like eating some spicy Indian

We had Golden Gate to cater our party of 15 people, the food is so amazing delicious. All our guests loved, really loved the Indian buffet. The owner is very kind, he dropped off the food and offered the trays to place the food so we had a complete buffet set. I cant describe the flavors but as good indian food is a ton of flavor and tons of spices. The food is fresh and delicious. This restaurant is inexpensive, and for the quality of food is a win — win. now you know, when you feel like eating really good Indian food Golden Gate is where you should go! Some delicious things in our buffet menu : –Tikka Kabab –Lamb Pelak –Veggie Kolma –Naan –Onion Kulch

This little place is right by my house. Next to a laundromat and 7 – 11. Unique and delicious Indian pizza. It’s all I’ve tried here, but omg the chicken Tikka masala pizza was BOMB! You might think it’s weird, Indian pizza, but you gotta try it! Yummy

I. Love. This. Cheap. Little. Place! Golden Gate Indian Pizza is one of those hole-in-the-wall yummy Indian places that you don’t expect to be delicious because: 1) It’s located next to a 7/11, 2) The owner eats at the tables and so do the waiters and waitresses, giving it sort of a low-class feel, and 3) It advertises an all-you-can-eat buffet on advertisements plastered all over the windows. But don’t let that fool you. The food here is freaking BOMB. I used to come here almost every week with a former coworker to munch on delicious garlic naan and tasty curries, but slowly moved on to other restaurants(too many to try in other areas). However, GGIP will always remain in my heart! If you’re looking to try something super tasty, go for the chicken tikka masala pizza. I’ve had every pizza under the sun thanks to living in San Francisco’s pizza loving city, but the chicken tikka masala pizza here is just delicious! A medium is sizable enough to serve two people. I only ate two slices, the boyfriend had 4, and we took the leftovers home to munch on later(it’s great cold). Don’t let the windows and 7⁄11 fool you! Eat here!

Like many I was pretty surprised by the quality of the food after being turned off for many years by the location. Never tried the pizza or eaten in the restaurant, but I love the food, it’s a regular take out spot for us.

Mad props to this place for making my girlfriend sick tonight. I’ve been under the impression that if a menu item contains nuts — ESPECIALLY if it’s an item that doesn’t usually contain nuts(e.g.; tikka masala) — that the menu be clearly marked so people with nut allergies can be forewarned. Not so at Golden Gate pizza! We ordered the chicken tikka masala pizza for take-out(which is admittedly delicious [and also safe to eat if you don’t have a nut allergy]). The menu made no mention of it containing cashews. Only AFTER calling the establishment(post — allergic reaction) did we find out about the nuts in the product. No mention of replacing the product. No apologies from the establishment. I dig the food here. I think Indian pizza is a brilliant idea, and fantastically executed at that. But you’d have to be pretty stupid to run a restaurant and not make basic allergy notifications for common allergies. 5 stars for the food, and minus 2 stars because a paying customer is experiencing nut allergy repercussions because the managers here were too lazy to type *contains cashews* underneath«chicken tikka masala.» Bless you, less-than-Golden Gate. May your menu be more clear because of my indignant review.

Hands down best Indian delivery/takeout in the Sunset. Despite the name(Indian pizza?) and the unassuming location, the food is really flavorful and delicious. Other Indian in own is flat, but I’ve never had a bad dish from here. Tikka masala and palak paneer are awesome go-tos. Watch out, if you order spicy, they won’t be shy with the heat.

We ordered here with eat24 to our address in the outer mission. It came pretty much on time during the promised 60 minutes and was probably the weirdest order experience we had so far. My husband and I spent an hour arguing about what to order. I wanted Indian, he wanted American. We ended up looking for places that offer both. Something we rarely do, because let’s be honest, the food usually isn’t good at all. My husband got a burger and fries, I had rice, veggie tikka Marsala and we shared the pakora. Everything was really, really good! They had great sizes and we paid half the money we would usually spend on Chinese food. The fries were seasoned well and crispy. The curry wasn’t too spicy but really tasty and the bag of pakora was huge! They unfortunately don’t really describe the items on the menu that well(what’s the difference between the burger and the special golden gate burger?) and ignored the request to have avocado and bacon on the burger but I suppose we could’ve just called instead of ordering with eat24. Definitely my go to Indian spot now!!!

I love GGP’s Chicken Tikka Masala pizza! What is Chicken Tikka Masala pizza you ask? Well. Replace your average pizza’s tomato sauce with masala sauce, and add tomato, cilantro, onion and tandoori chicken. And voila! Chicken Tikka Masala pizza. On top of the amazing Indian pizza, they deliver to any place in San Francisco. I live in Mission Bay, which is practically on the opposite side of the city for these folks, yet they never seem to mind. I just make sure to tip well. Also, you can schedule your deliveries which is a huge plus for busy folks. I would recommend delivery vs. dining in, for a variety of reasons. 1. Parking sucks. They do have their own lot, but there are only 3 spaces for this joint while the other spaces are reserved for 7 – 11 next door. 2. The restaurant itself is kind of sad and desolate. Most of the staff is busy making the food and taking care of deliveries that there isn’t much time dedicated to dine-in folks. I came in and 3 of the tables around us hadn’t been cleaned up yet. 3. Because nothing beats eating pizza at home with my BFF and Netflix.

Man oh man, my boyfriend and I kept talking about going to this place because it’s a block from his house. He loves Indian food, «but what the heck is Indian pizza?» After months of debating whether it would be worth it to go, we finally found ourselves seated in the comfortable, nicely decorated back room. We ordered Pakora, and after some(not actually that much) debate, ordered the Chicken Indian Pizza. The pakora was a nice serving size. Definitely worth the money. Good flavor. Could have been a tiny bit more crunch, but super delicious and worth the money. The pizza blew us away. Neither of us could have imagined that«Indian pizza» could be so good. The meshing of flavors of the spinach sauce with the rest of the pizza was amazing. We commented to each other that this would be a great way to introduce someone to the flavors of Indian food if they’d never had it before but liked pizza a lot, because the Indian flavors were extremely present, and fit right in. I’m not sure if Indian pizza is a thing that exists anywhere else, so, for now, if you’re looking for a big meal after a long walk on the beach, it’s a pretty good option. Medium Indian pizza was $ 18ish. Good for three people with an appetizer or two hungry teenagers.

I now give an extra star to Indian places that deliver. Delivery is cool. Allow me to clarify, delivery is of utmost necessity when there’s playoff hoops(or NFL football or a Giants game or new episode of Game of Thrones…) either that or when I’m feeling particularly extra lazy and really don’t feel like driving to get food. You get what I’m saying. The tikka masala can be a bit heavy on the cream(which is a good or bad thing depending on your mood). The naan, garlic naan, onion kulcha, and veggie dishes are consistently good. And overall, the food is pretty solid. As for their Indian pizza, it’s fine, it’s good,. .. ok, so I don’t really get it but give me a side of tikka masala to either drizzle on top of or to dip the pizza in and we got a winner. Golden Gate Indian may not be the best Indian food I’ve had but there can be no denying how super satisfying the food can be.

I have yet to actually try the Indian food at this place! I hope I am saving the best for last! I can say that you will find the best value for the dollar you spend here. Burgers are cheep and pizza is actually very well done. I judged this place so hard at first, it’s rough around the edges located next to a laundromat and 7 – 11. It may not be the best crust, or that $ 25 for a small artisanal style San Francisco pepperoni all organic pizza; you won’t find that here. It’s fast food/utility pizza at its best to be honest. That’s a good thing if you couldn’t tell. Not fancy. Just a simple product from someone who knew what they were doing and didn’t screw it up. It’s pizza that you can order early and late(11am to 11pm) AND have it delivered! So really, there’s no negative about this little pizza joint if you are having a food crisis. When your tastes bud need that pizza pie goodness and you want a good deal be sure to give this a try at lease once.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon after my friend had recommended this place to me. She said it was pretty good and I trust her opinion so I decided to venture out into the suburbs of SF and try this little joint. I asked ahead of time on the phone if they had any vegan pizza options, and the woman was really confused and had to ask the chef after I clarified by explaining I simply meant without meat or cheese. She said that was fine and they could accommodate that so we headed on over. It was basically empty at lunch hour. Parking: Super easy Food: I ordered the vegetarian indian pizza with no cheese. What made it «Indian» was the curry basil sauce I guess, but other than they the vegetables were pretty standard such as red onion, tomato, and cauliflower, nothing particularly interesting. The crust I think is what disappointed me most. It was super thin, dry and bland, I guess I was thinking it was going to be fluffy naan or something haha I don’t know what I was expecting, but the crust did nothing for my tastebuds and left me sad and feeling undercarbed. I love carbs and ate half of the medium pizza and still wanted more! I realize I ordered probably the plainest of all the pizzas especially because there was no meat or cheese, but the crust and sauce still did not impress me. My boyfriend agreed and said it was pretty boring. Probably won’t return. Service: They were accommodating but never smiled, waitress gave me weird looks when I said I didn’t want cheese on my pizza. Understandable but hey NOJUDGINGALLOWEDSTAHP. I asked her how big a medium was and she said«sizes are at the top of the menu» where it said the number of slices, but THATDOESNTTELLYOUHOWBIG A PIZZAIS, JUSTHOWMANYPIECESYOUGETHOKAY. Then I heard the other table ask, and she explained to them the size and how many people it would probably feed. What. The. Eff. That’s all I wanted to know! Ima make my own Indian Pizza k thanks bye.

Ordered a large Chicken Tikka Marsala Pizza online. Pros: Delivery on time Fresh ingredients light thin crust Cons: Lacking in flavor. The Marsala was average, nothing spectacular. I prefer my tikka marsala spicy If you like spicy Indian pizza I highly recommend Tasty Subs and Pizza down in Santa Clara. Well worth the drive for some outstanding Indian pizza.

Taking fusion cuisine to a whole new level… CHICKENTIKAMASALAPIZZA! That’s it. Get it. Soooooo good!!! Otherwise, for straight up pizza, theirs is so-so, I won’t order it again. For straight Indian food, it is subpar. I don’t know how they do it, but the two combined are great even though the two separately are marginal… For an Indian pizza creation that will make your tastebuds sing and beg you to overeat, it is a win! 4 stars for the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza ONLY. 1 star for the rest.
