I think the place is great, as the owners are very friendly and the pizzas are great. The sandwiches are also very good

Don’t trust much but the pizza. But the pizza is actually pretty decent for a High School hangout-ish spot. The location may be a bit small, since at lunch, practically a fourth of the school goes there to eat, and there’s only 4 employees there. One thing that’s good there, but definitely not the best, is their pesto mushroom pizza.

Back in the high school days. most of the times they’re pretty cool. Its close and convenient and they bond with the students. The food is better than school lunch, but not great. Sometimes they’re closed at strange hours though(or maybe I just caught em during the graduations year after year).

known to be own by gangsters? well that’s what it was said when i was in Wash. i’m not too sure about the details about this story. back in high school i always thought this place was overpriced. you might be tricked the first few days of school since you didn’t know you can go beyond that block for food. After tthat, you will find that food down in Balboa is much cheaper and it tasted much better then this place. It is the only pizza joint on balboa that i know off that is close by to wash. the drinks and the pizza slices are very expensive when compared to other places. you will known this when you find out that the owner of the place drives a european car. White MERCEDES s500 with chrome rims.

I went to the wash house back when it had nice pizza. Since then, the hours began to suck, the pizza turned horrible and it is now the hang out for all of washington high. sad times I say. It was one of the few places you could get a pizza in outter richmond. DON’T BOTHER.

I thought it was kind of cool how they named this place after the school lol. I used to come here for lunch because I go to wash. This place mostly aims for wash kids. The food they sell is ehhh. not good. Seems like they don’t try at all. Vitamin water, snapple, and soda are overpriced. They sell candy, chips, and ice cream too. Their bagels are good which is why I’m giving this place an extra star.

This is not a restaurant, it’s a cafeteria, always has been, and is supposed to be. The high school right behind it is a dead giveaway. Add one star because we got pizza from them(«Class Pizza» at the time) delivered in class once, ala«Fast Times». That time, it was delectable.

Oh classic fond memories of a mediocre/sucky Pizza joint which supposedly had cockroaches chilling inside the pizza dough. During the 4 years I attended Wash, I have witnessed the Pizza Joint change ownership 3 times. Each succesive owner changed the recipe for the better. The problem was that after the 3rd owner, the Pizza didnt taste like cardboard anymore but it wasn’t exactly up to par to the crap served at Dominoes. I would only eat here because I was too lazy to get some cheap assed Chinese food or because I had a club meeting to attend. Other than that, I don’t even think anyone orders delivery from them.

There was a short time where Wash House was under new management. During that time NO washington kids were really willing to go inside. We’d go in once in a while and get stuff that wasn’t made on the premises. BUT Lucky for us, the old cool owners are back. They are great! It’s good to have them back, their more teen friendly then the other owners. The other owners, one of the guys who made the sandwhich had a finger missing, which disturbed many of my friends. The pizza is what I would eat every once in a while. But I usually go down there for the sandwhiches and chips and a nice tall cool can of Arizona Sweet Tea. If your a teen, attend wash, this is a place to be. But if your an adult, you can come here and try it. But I doubt you’ll be amazed.

Find another pizza place, but I know there’s not one nearby so, play it safe and get a slice of peperoni pizza with a can of coke. Anything else, I would not trust! I tried the potato salad once and it tasted like mayonnaise with a side of potato and it was way too salty! This is a frequent hang out for the high school kids that attend George Washington High School and it’s packed during lunchtime. I rarely see the kids eating pizza from this joint, just chips and soda!
